I donโ€™t know when Iโ€™m due, Iโ€™ve not had a period since DS was born but I got 1-2 weeks on a Clearblue digi this morning which puts me sometime late October or early November (I think!)
Feels like Iโ€™m too far behind the October group but too early for a November oneโ€ฆ anyone due a similar time and want to join me? Would love to have some company ๐Ÿ˜Š

@EssieMay sorry to hear about your lil one. Wishing you both a speedy recovery

Foxella · 22/02/2022 06:27

Congratulations @bringonbaby3 @clr84 and @kat668 youโ€™re all very welcome to join!

I did a weeks indicator this morning and got 2-3 so Iโ€™m heading in the right direction ๐Ÿ˜Š feel a bit nauseous too but itโ€™s at a reassuring level - Iโ€™m glad to feel a bit off but itโ€™s not going to disrupt my day (I hope!)

Absolutely feeling starving with no appetite!

Hope everyone is feeling good today, I thought that posting here would help but itโ€™s still not sinking in!

Hi everyone!! I think I'm around 5 weeks now, tested 1-2 weeks on Sunday! My first ever time testing positive and going through all this! Feeling a whole range of emotions - mainly excited but also thinking omg this is happening :)
The only symptom I recognise so far is loss of appetiteโ€ฆ which is not like me at all haha x

Cegbee · 22/02/2022 06:59

Hello all, I'd love to join too. My due date is 28th of October. This is my second baby (all being well), my first is now 2 and a bit, her due date was the 29th of October in fact! I've only told me husband and one friend from work so far, nice to have a group like this to discuss things with when it's so early on.

summerlovingvibes · 22/02/2022 07:15

Does anyone else have quite a bit of just "tummy ache"? I wouldn't say it even feels enough to class it as cramps, but just general all over tummy ache? I guess it's kind of like bloating ache without feeling too bloated?

Jfb23 · 22/02/2022 08:38

Hello, hope you don't mind if I join. My due date is around the 22nd October and I have a little girl already who's 20 months so she'll be 2 years and 4 months when the baby is born, same as you @soaringswifts
No sickness (yet), just sore boobs and the cramping has calmed down.
I only tested on the day I tested positive and have resisted since then. I have some health anxiety and I think comparing lines or waiting for a 3+ on clear blue will just add to that. Going to refer to the midwife today

Annny27 · 22/02/2022 09:06

Just got my progesterone back and its 62nmol/l which I think is okay for 4/5 weeks pregnant! Might do another one in a weeks time to make sure it's still at a good level.

Anyone have any experience with what progesterone should be? Calling the fertility clinic later to confirm

soaringswifts · 22/02/2022 09:06

@Jfb23 that's fun that we will have the same gap! In general my son is very jealous lol but he was quite taken with a baby we met recently so fingers crossed.

Clr84 · 22/02/2022 09:33

Thatโ€™s how I feel I think, just a constant low level stomach ache. Although woke up feeling a lot more nauseous today too!

Raindrops2015 · 22/02/2022 10:32

I think anything between 30 and 90 nmol is a good level. Can I just ask if you have anxiety during pregnancy? My anxiety is quite bad due to a bad experience. I would like to get my progesterone checked by my GP. Is that who did the test for you? I have been doing tests every 2 days and everything seems to be progressing. I'm only 15dpo. I got a clear positive at 9dpo.
Annny27 · 22/02/2022 10:42

Yes I am very anxious after previous losses @raindrops2015

I actually ordered a private test at my local fertility clinic. Cost about 60 pound as the GP/ EPU said the tests weren't necessary

HellsBellsK · 22/02/2022 11:04

Hi Everyone,

Can I join? Just got a BFP on clear blue 2-3 weeks can't believe it. This will hopefully be baby #3 I have a 4 & 2 year old.

I had a MC between my first and second and have the same due date as that pregnancy so not sure how to feel about it, bad luck? Feeling nervous.

I have rang and already booked in with my doctor so have a scan on 21st March hopefully I will be 8 weeks.

Bringonbaby3 · 22/02/2022 11:08

Thank you for all the welcomes!

I did a clear blue this morning and for 3+ which made me feel better (for about 10 minutes!)

@BreadJam eeek 18 months! It might be hard in the beginning but they will grow up so close.

@EssieMay yes I did end up having to get a double buggy. I thought I could manage with a sling or buggy board combo but in the end I just went for the double. Didnโ€™t use it loads but sometimes it was a lifesaver.

Iโ€™m not getting that many symptoms yet (think Iโ€™m 4/5 weeks. Some low level nausea but thatโ€™s about it. A bit worried about it as did have more in previous pregnancies at this point. But on the other side my tests have definitely got darker and the cheapies are showing darker test lines than control lines so something must be going on!

Due late Oct ๐ŸŽƒ - early Nov ๐ŸŽ‰
Bringonbaby3 · 22/02/2022 11:11

I havenโ€™t notified GP or referred to midwives yet. I want to wait until after Iโ€™ve had a reassurance scan which Iโ€™m going to book at 6-7 weeks. Does that seem okay? With my daughter I didnโ€™t notify the midwives til 10 weeks but that was because we were in the middle of moving house at the time!

Raindrops2015 · 22/02/2022 12:03

@Annny27 It really takes the innocence out of it all doesn't it? I'm definitely getting a scan around 7 weeks this time round. I actually had flashbacks of my surgery yesterday and I've had some nightmares. I think me and my partner have ptsd from it all.

Raindrops2015 · 22/02/2022 12:06

@Bringonbaby3 darker lines are good. I'm taking comfort myself at this. Congratulations. I would notify midwives now on the slim chance they may offer you an early scan if you are in anyway concerned.

Congratulations to everybody else too

CurbsideProphet · 22/02/2022 12:52

I'm just lurking in here as I'm so frightened ๐Ÿ˜” IVF pregnancy (5 weeks 3 days), 2 previous early miscarriages. As a few of you have also said, it's very scary when you know what can go wrong.

In case it helps anyone here I can really recommend a book called Pregnancy After Loss by Zoe Clark-Coates. It has a day by day guide to keep you company.
There's also an Instagram page run by her called palsupport (I'll check if this is the right name).

CurbsideProphet · 22/02/2022 12:53

*the Instagram page is "pal_guide".

Jfb23 · 22/02/2022 14:44

@soaringswifts I know it might be a bit early, but have you thought about prams? Were tempted to just buy a sling and a buggy board and see how we get on with that

soaringswifts · 22/02/2022 15:28

@Jfb23 that's what I'm thinking too! I picture baby #2 basically living in the sling haha.

Foxella · 22/02/2022 17:56

Congratulations @GAAJ04 @Cegbee @Jfb23 @HellsBellsK @CurbsideProphet lovely to have you join too ๐Ÿ˜Š itโ€™s a scary time but I think we can be the support to each other that we need to get us through, seems thereโ€™s so many different backgrounds here which means there will always be someone who can help out.

@Jfb23 @soaringswifts my son will be 21-22 months when his sibling is due so Iโ€™ll be after some tips when yours get to that age for what might be practical! Iโ€™m totally thinking sling too.

@Bringonbaby3 for me 7 weeks would be the perfect time, itโ€™s not too long but long enough that you should get some reassurance from it, itโ€™s so easy to be a couple of days out and it makes all the difference at that point. I went at 6 weeks last time and was really lucky to see a heartbeat but there wasnโ€™t anything much to see. An extra week does feel like an age tho!

Just had chicken for dinner and really started to not enjoy it, I think Iโ€™m starting food aversions. Still enjoyed the chocolate pudding tho so itโ€™s not so bad!

Got a positive test 5 days ago, worked out from last period that Iโ€™m due 30th October. Fingers crossed it arrives then, as itโ€™s my motherโ€™s the 29th and we donโ€™t speak. Or could go the other way and have a Halloween baby ๐ŸŽƒ either way itโ€™s going to be a Scorpio ๐Ÿ˜ญ x

Bringonbaby3 · 22/02/2022 19:32

I went with the sling a lot too. I found the difficulty was when they got older and heavy in the sling. Plus I needed other people to pick them up from nursery and my oldest wasnโ€™t big enough to walk long distances and thatโ€™s when the double buggy was helpful! It is manageable without though and depends on your circumstances.

@Foxella thank you! Not sure how far in advance to book the scan..Iโ€™m thinking 12 days time but you have to pay a deposit and lots can happen in 12 days! Equally will be annoyed if it gets booked up.

Scorpio babies are the best! (My birthday is 28th Oct which might actually be my due date!)

Cegbee · 22/02/2022 19:34

I'm a scorpio, so is my Daughter and this new one will be too!

Annny27 · 22/02/2022 19:40

@cegbee that's lovely ๐Ÿ’—

@curbsideprophet sending love - mine isn't an ivf pregnancy but it is a pregnancy after 2.5 years, 2 losses and 2 surgeries so I can relate ๐Ÿ’—
