I donโ€™t know when Iโ€™m due, Iโ€™ve not had a period since DS was born but I got 1-2 weeks on a Clearblue digi this morning which puts me sometime late October or early November (I think!)
Feels like Iโ€™m too far behind the October group but too early for a November oneโ€ฆ anyone due a similar time and want to join me? Would love to have some company ๐Ÿ˜Š

How is everyone doing? My nausea was okay over the weekend and now today has hit me like a ton of bricks haha
It's like my body knows I have to work today so is like let's pull a curveball haha

Has everyone joined the fb group? I have tried sending failed many times so I am gonna have to stick to mumsnet haha

TheBirdintheCave · 21/03/2022 09:38

@Annny27 Sorry to hear your nausea is worse :( Hopefully work isn't too hard for you today.

I'm still waiting to miscarry. My body still doesn't seem to recognise what's happened. It sucks. I've still got sore boobs and on and off nausea (but it's so non-existent it's like it's barely there). A consultant is going to contact me tomorrow about hopefully bringing the scan date forwards to Friday (cutting five days off the wait). This is ideal as then I can start the medication at the weekend and hopefully have things over with by next week so I can go back to the TTC boards.

I cannot stand being not pregnant but also pregnant. I'm so jealous of everyone I see at the hospital with their maternity notes :(

Annny27 · 21/03/2022 09:53

@thebirdinthecave :( it's a really tough time for you! But it's good they are seeing you sooner as you won't be in limbo for much longer ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—

So sorry to hear what you are going through. I'm glad they are pulling the scan date earlier, so you can get a definitive way forward xx

Feeling queasy a lot but not actually being physically being ill so that's good. I think I felt worst at the weekend but we went on a trip out to a National Trust place and had a road diversion which was winding and unpleasant & didn't help ๐Ÿ˜… ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Have my first Midwife appt on Wednesday, hoping we'll have a scan date then too - feels a bit surreal until then I think!

Have you told anyone yet about your pregnancy? We haven't and it just feels odd!

I copied the link for FB page on to browser and it seemed to work that way :)

AutumnFrost22 · 21/03/2022 10:16

Does anyone know how to tag someone or the MN talk app rather than quoting? The @ symbol doesn't seem to work and aware I'm clogging up the feed

justanotherlaura · 21/03/2022 16:17

I had my booking in appointment today and a private scan on Saturday, still doesn't really feel real though! The scan was really good, measuring 4 days bigger than expected and saw a heartbeat Smile

misslahx · 21/03/2022 16:33

@AutumnFrost22 you should just be able to write @ and a list of users who have talked recently will come up

If that doesn't work I guess you can just write the name

xreadytoglow · 21/03/2022 18:12

@justanotherlaura great scan pic ๐Ÿ˜Š congratulations. How far along are you?

justanotherlaura · 21/03/2022 20:30

@xreadytoglow thanks, I was 8+1 and measured 8+5

misslahx · 22/03/2022 10:47

I know this is way off topic, but has anyone have or have any thoughts on dying your hair during pregnancy? No bleach just colour.

Cegbee · 22/03/2022 15:55

@misslahx yes, it's safe. I have my hair bleached in pregnancy, the doses of the chemicals used aren't toxic plus they don't get absorbed systemically to any significant degree.

DM1720 · 22/03/2022 16:45

Hi ladies, after being in at 5+6 and not seeing muchโ€ฆ (just pregnancy sac and fetal pole) I was back in again yesterday (7+2) and saw baby and heart beat, such a relief! Symptoms have seriously ramped up the past few days and Iโ€™m really struggling in the evenings. Itโ€™s very tough! ๐Ÿ˜ฃ

TheBirdintheCave · 22/03/2022 17:57

@DM1720 So glad to hear that! :)

DogsAndBirds · 22/03/2022 18:17

@misslahx I have had my roots bleached and whole head toner done once already since being pregnant and Iโ€™m due again soon. (6 weekly habit here) I think the only worry is if you suddenly start having a reaction / allergy to the chemicals and burn your scalp.

If you are concerned then you could go for a patch test.

Emma543 · 23/03/2022 10:07

Hi ladies
Early private scan for me tonight at 7+2.. any tips on dealing with scanxiety Iโ€™m a mess today?! Sad

xreadytoglow · 23/03/2022 10:40

Good luck today @Emma543
No advice.. I have mine tomorrow and I'm a mess too. Slept awful last night.
I'm sure everything will be fine x

TheBirdintheCave · 23/03/2022 11:54

@Emma543 Just take it an hour at a time. Plan how you're going to keep yourself busy for that hour and the time will pass :)

AbbiL0u · 23/03/2022 13:25

Hello everyone, thank you for your kind words when I posted on Friday about what had happened with the bleeding and blood clot.

It has taken a while after a rubbish walk in centre experience and being stuck in limbo since the weekend, but I had a scan today at the EPU and there is a little 7 week baby in there with a heartbeat! I know Iโ€™m very lucky, but just to give you some hope if you are expecting the worst that you truly never know until you know. Very happy to be back on this pregnancy journey with you all again!

Annny27 · 23/03/2022 13:30

Amazing!!!!! @abbil0u that's the best news ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ

@emma543 good luck! I had one booked for tomorrow but they just called to cancel! Very annoying

Cheetocat · 23/03/2022 13:38

So happy for you, Abbi! It must have been such a relief to see that everything was okay!

Emma543 · 23/03/2022 13:41

@AbbiL0u congratulations thatโ€™s amazing news!!

TheBirdintheCave · 23/03/2022 13:55

@AbbiL0u WHAT! That is incredible! I'm so happy for you :D It must have been amazing to see that little heartbeat on the screen. Do they want you back for another scan or are they happy to sign you off from EPU care now? :D

AbbiL0u · 23/03/2022 14:29

Thank you so much everyone! I am in shock, in my mind there was no way and I was just going to get the worst confirmed - for anyone going through it, I am so sorry and sending all my love and thoughts ๐Ÿ’•

@TheBirdintheCave Thank you lovely! How are things? I have stayed off mumsnet since Friday and havenโ€™t caught up on everything! I have been signed off and have a booking in appointment on Friday now, feeling super lucky and grateful, and have absolutely everything crossed for a similar outcome for you!

xreadytoglow · 23/03/2022 15:05

@AbbiL0u congratulations!!! Love a happy ending. Wishing you a less stressful, happy and healthy pregnancy from now on. ๐Ÿค
