Thanks @becky239 I can't get that to work, opens the app but does no more

Dreamer30 · 20/02/2022 09:12

@Lass94 haven't had similar but I'm sorry that's happening to you. I know it must be such a worry. There are some in the thread who have had spotting and bleeding and had a scan for reassurance. I hope all is okay!

@Cluelessbeetroot I still have cramps from time to time. 10 weeks now and get the odd twinge each day but I've just put it down to stretching etc. It's perfectly normal 😊 and I figured out that most of my cramps are wind haha

MedbN · 20/02/2022 10:09

@Carebear99 try using the link on a laptop/computer if you have one I couldn't get it to work on my phone so think it might not work perfectly with the Facebook app.

Carebear99 · 20/02/2022 10:31

Thanks @becky239 I've requested to join in the main website not via the app.

Jenna240 · 20/02/2022 11:03

Hi does anyone know if by joining the group will it show up to your friends on Facebook that you've joined? I'm currently 8w5d and we don't want anyone else to know yet :)

MedbN · 20/02/2022 11:06

@Jenna240 it is set up as a completely private group so noone else will see unless they are members too.

Whoknew22 · 20/02/2022 14:08

I’ve not been on here in ages but popped on and lots of chat to catch up on. I’ve just been using Facebook really. Lovely to see all the scans and new joiners. Welcome 🥰
Can’t wait to see all the 12 week scans over the next few weeks

IzzyLeigh · 20/02/2022 15:01

So much congratulating to do in this catch-up!

@Carebear99 congrats on the great NIPT news and that you’re having a girl! And I hope you start feeling better ASAP

@Dreamer30 look at those little arms and legs! So cute! Congrats!

@TotoAnnihiliation congrats on your scan too! And I really hope the sonographer is right and that you start to feel better really soon

@mummysept22 congrats! I always think that too, that I’ll be able to finally relax and enjoy everything once I’ve been reassured. Then like 2 days later I’m back to worrying about everything all over again haha I hope you have better luck in that department than I do!

@Billymay I’m glad you’re feelin better but I’m sorry to hear that now your husband caught it Sad how'd the garden turn out?

@ShiningStarz I’m not in maternity jeans yet (further behind than you guys are—9w1d), but I have been wearing stretchy lounge pants every day since abut week 6. My bloating has just been insane. I even had to go get new underwear around week 7 because of it!

@MedbN congrats on the great scan and seeing the little wriggles and heartbeat!

@Cluelessbeetroot good luck on your NIPT and scan next week! I haven’t had cramps but I feel like they aren’t all too uncommon, especially as everything is growing and stretching and such. Have you had a scan yet or is the one on Sunday going to be your first?

Same! I've hidden all groups I'm part of but I've just checked on my profile on my husband’s Facebook and no one can see it

TotoAnnihiliation · 20/02/2022 15:07

I'm wearing maternity clothes, I've lost loads of weight due to be so sick and no appetite but my new pregnancy things means my old clothes don't fit.

I'm having problems with my bladder, especially at night time. I constantly feel like I need to pee. I've had to have surgery because of this before. Unfortunately, I know nothing can be done until after baby arrives.

Carebear99 · 20/02/2022 15:08

The only symptom I'm using at the moment is on and off constipation and severe tiredness. I'm 11 weeks today

mummysept22 · 20/02/2022 15:15

@TotoAnnihiliation i bought new jeans and bras yesterday - nothing fits me!! I don't get it, is this normal at only 9-10 weeks?! 🤣 x

Belle2210 · 20/02/2022 15:39

From 10/11 weeks ive gone up a size in Jeans so far and can only wear my larger made bras (never the same size are they even if they're meant to be 😂😂). Think I've put on some normal weight not baby related too to be fair with only wanting to eat rubbish 🙈.

Anyone else been watching One Born Every Minute? 😂 😂 😂

Carebear99 · 20/02/2022 15:52

My pre pregnancy bras fit me just fine, I don't think my boobs have changed at all. They aren't sensitive and haven't got bigger. That said I've lost 8kg in the past 7 weeks since I found out

*6 weeks
ShiningStarz · 20/02/2022 17:46

I'm fine in the bra department however I had to put on maternity jeans today!! I have an obvious bump and 11 weeks tomorrow !! Anyone else? It'll be my second pregnancy. Maybe twins?! Lol I'm freaking out, scan in a few days

Carebear99 · 20/02/2022 18:02

I've been googling things today and I'm so petrified of my scan on Friday. I've convinced myself I'm going to see the baby doesn't have a heartbeat. My last scan was last Mon when I had my nipt

stimpyyouidiot · 20/02/2022 18:39

Going to start calorie counting and eating healthily tomorrow. I know I won't lose anything but I don't want to put stones on like last time and be fatter than I've ever been before. I've just googled what my weight was from booking (it was kg and I have no idea) and honestly am horrified. I'm starting this on such a bad weight so I just need to damage control massively and stop eating constantly because I feel rubbish and a bit sicky. Then hopefully once baby is here I can go mega and get rid of it once and for all since I know this is my last.

Scan Friday so fingers crossed for that.

Mags146 · 20/02/2022 19:01

@carebear99 I'm sure you will see baby's heartbeat! My midwife told me not to Google too much stuff and I think it is a great idea!

Billymay · 20/02/2022 19:13

@Carebear99 I’m panicking now as I’ve never checked to see what groups people can see on Facebook and I’m now worried I’ve pretty much announced this pregnancy 😩😩😩😩

Peauela · 20/02/2022 19:18

@Carebear99 I'm pretty sure the group is private and no one but members can find it or see it ?

ShiningStarz · 20/02/2022 19:23

@Carebear99 have you spoken to your GP about your level of anxiety? I went private with my last pregnancy so I had a lot of extra scans.... however the consultant told me the best thing I could do is relax and almost forget about it and let me body do what's it's supposed to do. As hard as it was to hear, he said yes sometimes things go wrong but you have zero control over it. Relax, eat well, exercise, sleep and de stress.
I know it's easier said than done and we are all very different. Sending love and I hope your anxiety eases with time.

ShiningStarz · 20/02/2022 19:24

@stimpyyouidiot I could have written your post!!
Actually making a list of what to eat now and I'll have to go to shops tomorrow evening!
Lots of shakes for breakfast, omelettes for lunch and meat/fish and veg for dinner!! Trying to stay away from heavy carbs 🙈🙈🙈

annlee3817 · 20/02/2022 19:28

@Billymay the group is completely private, would only show for you.

Congrats to the new joiners, apologies I will comment and catch up properly!

IzzyLeigh · 20/02/2022 19:38

@Carebear99 step away from Google! I know, much harder done than said though. I can't ever seem to stop myself and then I end up going down all the rabbit holes of worst case scenarios. Terrible.

@ShiningStarz and @stimpyyouidiot I feel you guys. My problem is the carbs for sure. It's just so frustrating because pre-pregnancy I stayed away from carbs as much as possible and was pretty successful at it. My diet mainly consisted of a lot of veggies. Now I can't stand the thought of veggies and so I'm basically only eating carbs! I'm just hoping these food aversions calm down soon so I can get back to eating how I normally eat and can start feeling maybe a little healthier too
