@stimpyyouidiot I had them really badly until about week 12-14 but then I used this bright orange astringent clerasil meant for acne teenagers toner every night and it seems to have cleared up. On the other hand this child apparently hates chocolate which I love, so maybe forcing me to eat healthily is doing something good. I am sitting demolishing a box of cherry tomatoes as that is apparently all this baby will allow for fun! Today is week 16 bang on, and i've spent the last hour feeling my first real kicks (I think). It has been so random/sporradic up till now. Today he is really going for it, or my muscles are just going crazy lol.

stimpyyouidiot · 15/03/2022 20:26

I've been eating massively healthy, with the occasional treat but it's just disproportionate on my face! I guess hormonal. It's making me so self conscious - already look quite fat and now spotty! I don't wear make up on my face at all but am now considering it but know it'll probably make it worse...

stimpyyouidiot · 15/03/2022 20:27

My thing is sweet potato! It's all I want to eat hahaha.

TotoAnnihiliation · 15/03/2022 21:20

I'm crazy about orange juice at the moment, I can't drink enough of it!

annlee3817 · 15/03/2022 21:34

My thing is Cheerios, but am limiting myself to a few bowls a week 🤣

Peauela · 15/03/2022 21:36

@Pinkflamingofly @ShiningStarz @IzzyLeigh @annlee3817 thank you girls! We got our results at 9pm!!! The doctor actually rang not to keep me waiting! All is well and we are having a GIRL 🥺🥺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸

annlee3817 · 15/03/2022 21:39

Yey Congrats @peauela

madeleine85 · 15/03/2022 21:41

Sorry @stimpyyouidiot that sounds very frustrating. I dread mine reappearing. Out of curiosity, do you know the sex? A friend of a friend had horrific spots and it was a boy, so I suspected mine was, and it is 😂

madeleine85 · 15/03/2022 21:41

@Peauela congratulations!!!

IzzyLeigh · 15/03/2022 22:04

congrats @Peauela!! So happy for you! I'm having a girl too!

and to get in on the other convo about food we're all about right now: I'm super into melons and pickled beets. Could probably demolish a whole honeydew melon or a whole jar of pickled beets in a single sitting no problem. In fact, I think I'm going to go cut up another melon right now haha

No not yet! Finding out at 20 weeks :) interesting if that's true. I don't remember being this spotty with my daughter but tbh it was nearly 5 years ago now haha

With my dd I ate 2-3 whole watermelons a week hahaha
annlee3817 · 15/03/2022 22:49

I've been getting spots, but mainly on my chest and upper arms, which was similar to last pregnancy, I'm using Adapalene 0.1% / Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel which the nurse prescribed me last year and thankfully it's ok in pregnancy. Have only just started to use it again, hoping it's effective, had stopped using it as was getting on well with the ordinary skin are products

Pinkflamingofly · 15/03/2022 23:06

I'm craving hummus, grated carrots and salads. But I'm still feeling pretty nauseous all day long, getting fed up

110APiccadilly · 16/03/2022 07:09

@stimpyyouidiot I'm a bit spotty, though sounds like not as much as you! Still, I suppose I can claim to have skin like a much younger person's now! (Not sure spotty teenager is what the ads mean though.)

stimpyyouidiot · 16/03/2022 07:20

I really hope it eases off soon, it's so annoying having so many!

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 16/03/2022 07:28

Any tips for constipation? I've tried the usual Blush

EverydayIsPJday · 16/03/2022 07:28

Morning all. Cant believe you are all craving healthy food. I just want cake 🤦 sigh.😂

My scan is tomorrow morning. Feels like it's been an age getting to this point! Bit sad DH can't come but fingers crossed all is ok and we can move on to the next chapter. And we have centre parcs next week!

EverydayIsPJday · 16/03/2022 07:36

Congrats @Peauela what a relief! And lovely news 💜

annlee3817 · 16/03/2022 07:47

@Whatelsecouldibecalled I make up a batch of prune puree every few days and have a glass of it before bed, also loads of water, not too cold as body absorbs better if it's not ice cold, and Weetabix for breakfast. The progesterone pessaries have made mine worse this last couple of weeks, midwife advised to get some lactulose from over the counter to soften it

ShiningStarz · 16/03/2022 08:11

Awwwww @Peauela a little girl and all is well. No better news. Wonderful, sending love xo

Peauela · 16/03/2022 08:42

Thank you all 🥰

Billymay · 16/03/2022 08:51

@EverydayIsPJday hope all goes well tomorrow! Mine is at 9am so will be thinking of you. I know we said about possibly being both near the same centre parcs before so we could potentially be at the same hospital tomorrow being scanned. Xx
