@Glitterygreen lol, I'm telling on a need to know basis now, my DD announced it to her whole class, so I told the mum's WhatsApp group 🙈🤣 bit otherwise like you, if I see someone and they notice :)

IzzyLeigh · 28/02/2022 11:54

Good luck on your scan today @Tinadecember!

So exciting that some of you are getting bumps already! Up until this point I’ve just been really bloated but I did notice that my lower lower belly was starting to round out a little. Hard to tell though if it’s actually rounding or if I’m just making myself believe it is though haha

I don't think I've got a bump but I'm overweight so can't tell. I do feel clothing feels tighter in my abdomen and I have lost 8kg between weeks 5 and 10 so I likely am getting bigger but just feel fat

Weddingaug2019 · 28/02/2022 15:26

Anyone else having a hormone surge at 11-12 weeks 😩
I'm 12 weeks in 2 days, and my boobs hurt worse than ever, coming out in spots, nausea is off the charts not to mention indigestion/ heartburn and headaches.. please someone tell me that it settles again after a big peak.. can't even go to work I feel so gross and exhausted!
My scan isn't till im at 13 weeks too so anxious about that.. sorry for the moan just feeling a bit sorry for myself.. 😅

ShiningStarz · 28/02/2022 15:58

@Weddingaug2019 you might have multiples in there !!! Kidding. Everyone is different and try not to worry about symptom spotting.
In my first pregnancy all I had was sore boobs and nothing else! All was fine and she is a crazy 1.5 year old now ! Not long until your scan 😊

Peauela · 28/02/2022 16:07

@Gigi30 I'll be 11 weeks on Wednesday and to be honest, baby is treating me extremely well. I had sore boobs for the first few weeks but that eased off around week 8, only had nausea a few times, I wouldn't even count it as real nausea, and apart from being tired I don't feel pregnant at all. I had my first scan at 6+5 with heartbeat, my second was 9+5 and all was well and baby was just chillin... I will have two scans next week because I pre-booked my harmony for Monday and afterwards got my first hospital scan for Thursday. Praying all is good. I'll be 12 weeks then so I hope it will give me some peace of mind... but then waiting for results tho hahahah

Honestly I feel like I will be anxious for the entire pregnancy!

Peauela · 28/02/2022 16:08

Oh and I have very sensitive nipples, can't touch them at all.

dkedm15 · 28/02/2022 17:07

@Weddingaug2019 oooh i could’ve written this myself, I don’t half feel you there! Was sick for the first time on Friday - had 24/7 nausea all the way through but this past week has been actually horrific. I’m spotty (never usually have any), nips are on fire and the pain after eating is awful! I’m 12+3 today and scan is Friday (can’t wait!). Also hoping that someone else has been through what we’re having right now and that there’s light at the end of this Uber symptom tunnel Grin roll on that elusive pregnancy glow xx

Carebear99 · 28/02/2022 17:22

I'm 12+3 today and this evening I've started feeling some cramping on my left side, period type cramps in the same area eg. Lower pelvis, where I guess my left ovary is. Is this normal?

madeleine85 · 28/02/2022 18:24

@Weddingaug2019 this happened to me last week, I am 14 weeks tomorrow. I find that there are 1-2 day surges and then it goes back to normal. Feels very odd at the time though.

@Carebear99 if you are worrried i'd ask your midwife. I've had a random day of cramping here and there as things stretch out. I think someone even mentioned in the FB group that during the scan the sonographer could see them having contractions (guessing as the baby moves up in position). I'd guess it is all ok, but better safe than sorry!

Yes I've had a headache today and got bad heartburn again! I'm 12+1 x
TotoAnnihiliation · 28/02/2022 19:02

Had a good day yesterday and I feel revolting today. Lots of dry heaving 😭 really hoping this eases off soon!

ShiningStarz · 01/03/2022 08:16

Good luck to anyone having a scan today! Mine is tomorrow, finally one sleep to go!!

110APiccadilly · 01/03/2022 09:34

My scan is today. I make myself to be 12+1 but we'll see what they say! I've been feeling tired but I've had a lot on at work so not entirely sure I can blame the baby for all the tiredness.

MOLWI · 01/03/2022 09:35

I'm 12+5 and still don't even have my 12 week scan appointment booked in!! Getting impatient.. anyone else in the same boat?

PrettyTulip · 01/03/2022 09:43

I'm 11+2 today and last night I had a tiny amount of blood when I wiped 😔 nothing since but it scares the cr*p out of me after having a MMC previously at 7w

DoesntFeelReal · 01/03/2022 09:46

Hello, could I have the fb link? First ever pregnancy and I'm 10+4. Currently symptoms have dropped off a bit, so feeling a little nervous. 12 week scan is actually closer to 13 weeks, so I'm feeling like I have a long wait!

Tinadecember · 01/03/2022 10:10

so exciting that a few of us are nearing 12 weeks, can't wait to see everyones dating scan pics!!

I was hit with horrendous tiredness last night out of nowhere. I haven't really suffered with pregnancy tiredness so far, I am 11+3, felt terrible on my OH as he was looking forward to a movie night but I literally fell to sleep as soon as I sat on the couch haha. I then woke around 9 feeling very sorry for myself and took myself off to bed, out like a log.

ShiningStarz · 01/03/2022 13:12

@Tinadecember that's me every night! Once get my toddler sorted it's dinner and then sofa !! I always fall asleep!!

I have my scan tomorrow and patiently waiting for my harmony results. The days are going so slow. I feel really anxious about it all.

Hope your ok @PrettyTulip did you contact the clinic for advice? Maybe the EPU would see you?

@MOLWI iv seen some on here not getting scans until 13 weeks. Maybe ring your clinic and ask? They had my appt already in my notes from 8 weeks, I just wasn't sent the appt letter until near 10 weeks.

@110APiccadilly enjoy your scan! It's so exciting!

110APiccadilly · 01/03/2022 13:42

Scan went ok, they reckon I'm actually 12+6 so that puts my due date on the 7th.

The whole midwife/ consultant appointments afterwards were very draining to be honest. I don't like medical appointments at the best of times (was ill as a child so had a of difficult medical stuff at an early age), and I had to talk a lot about what happened with DD (difficult birth ending in an EMCS and then she was unexpectedly very small, well under 5lb even though she was term, although she's now healthy in every way) so that dredged up a lot of emotions that aren't exactly pleasant.

TotoAnnihiliation · 01/03/2022 14:27

@110APiccadilly sorry to hear you had such a drawing appointment. I dreading going through the same thing when I talk about how DD arrived.

I have found something that makes me happy - haribo tangtastic. I normally hate sweets, but saw these and my mouth started watering. I've devoured nearly the whole packet!

KatBee121 · 01/03/2022 15:21

Hey ladies. Looking for abit of advise. I've decided I probably need to bite the bullet and get some maternity jeans. The buttons on the waistbands of my current jeans are making them less than comfortable when my stomach is already pretty sore and sicky still!! 🙄
Can people advise if any specific brands are better than others and also whether under bump or over bumps are best? I've not really got much of a bump yet (just some bloating by the end of the day) so didn't know if the over bump might be too much at this stage, or if they're still comfortable regardless of how big/small the bump is?

110APiccadilly · 01/03/2022 15:28

@TotoAnnihiliation thank you. I wasn't expecting to find it so difficult to be honest. Hopefully yours will go ok. I sometimes wonder why they ask some of the questions they ask - feels like I told them lots of things that should already be in my notes, but perhaps they prefer to hear it from me for some reason.

@KatBee121 My experience is that the over bump ones fall down if you don't really have a bump yet! I've not tried under bump ones so can't comment on that.

Goodgoodthings · 01/03/2022 15:33

I've not posted in a little while, 10+1 today and feeling like I have no personality / nothing interesting to add!

@110APiccadilly sorry that your appointment brought up a lot from your previous birth, I really empathise as I had the same at my booking in appointment with my midwife which was tricky over the phone. I had counselling after my first birth which really helped get me through that time and I'm thinking about having some sessions through pregnancy because it's a lot emotionally to be building up to that point again! My DD is really well and healthy now, but my brain clings on to some of the fear there. I feel really confident about going for a scheduled c section this time and letting go of the guilt about things not going as I'd hoped before. I hope you get the support you deserve this time 🌟

Goodgoodthings · 01/03/2022 15:36

@KatBee121 I've just had some delivered from Gap that are decent! I'm tall so struggled to find ones that were longer, but they have a lot of different kinds and all available tall/petite as well as standard lengths. I've had under bump ones from Asos before too but not great for tall maternity.

I've found I'm so bloated that normal clothes are so uncomfortable on my tummy. The over bump bit seems to be staying up on me for the most part 😅 oops!
