Starting a new one since thread 3 was just about to the limit

@Weddingaug2019 Planned c section at 39+2 for mine as he was breech. Hoping for about the same timing for this one. (Considered vbac very briefly before I remembered how lovely my ELCS was! 😂)

@KatBee121 they may tell you the nuchal fold on the notes after the scan, but last time I didn't get the results until my 16 week midwife appointment, she said If they don't consider you high risk you won't hear from them until the next appointment. At least that's how it is in my trust

@Carebear99 that was quick. I was told I'd have the results by next Fri! Hoping it'll be wed/thurs though 🤞🤞

@PrettyTulip you can ask the clinic not to give you the sex. They can just email
You the result and keep the actual report on their system until after baby is born if you want a copy.

@KatBee121 the bloods at booking are usually your full blood count etc and not testing testing baby blood.

@Weddingaug2019 snap! I'll be opting for a c section and it's usually done at 38 / 39 weeks. You'll get Steroids a week or 2 before to ensure baby is fully grown.

I was in my normal button up skinny jeans last weekend. By Monday I had a full blown bump! Came out of nowhere! It's definitely not constipation, this is the start of my
Bump! The consultant laughed as I was embarrassed to admit I was already in maternity jeans!! He said second pregnancy bumps and subsequent ones always pop out earlier than the first!! Getting hard to hide now!! I want to wait until next weekend before we tell anyone!!

@ShiningStarz same, I'm living in leggings that are a size up and loose dresses for the once a week in the office. Downloaded the Vinted app yesterday and ordered a few maternity bits, trying to by second hand this time

@ShiningStarz I had a bloat until around week 10, which went away when digestion went back to normal.Then this Sunday i had stretching cramps all day and well... at week 13 there is a definite bump! Living in Amazon maternity leggings. My company are all going in for lunch on Monday, I think they are all going to be like what happened here?! I haven't seen them in person since I found out I was pregnant. Finding real clothes for monday should be fun :)

Anyone elses umm libido starting to rise... We've not done it since conception, once I got the positive we avoided, as waiting to get the ok from the consultant due to the problems in my last pregnancy, appointment is 4th March and can't come around quick enough!

@annlee3817 couldn't be worse right now 🙈 honestly exhausted and feel so fat as well.

12 week scan today and all was good. Can't see the nub though?
Have told our son and the grandparents which was exciting (but terrifying too!)

Sickness is really ramping up though at 12+2. First time I've had proper sickness this week.
Whilst I'm thankful both that I've "only" had bad nausea and a bit of sickness so far (first thing sickness), and also that I'm eating calorie-free meals 😉, I'm wondering if it's normal to be ramping up instead of down?

Haven't got a midwife appt to ask for another month.

@petitlapin1 no idea if it's normal but mine has been horrendous this week and I'm 14 weeks, thought it had improved 😭

@annlee3817 yes!! I wanted nothing near me the last 12 weeks. Suddenly I’m creeping on my husband again 😂. Poor guy has no idea what to expect

@petitlapin1 Yes I'm finding this too! Always had a bit of nausea and sick a couple of times a week. Now coming up for 11/12 weeks I'm bejng sick daily and nausea is alot worse. Sure its "meant' to get better now.

@annlee3817 Mines never left 😂.

My nausea is long gone and I'm more hungry. I'm fact all my symptoms have gone, which I know can happen and hopefully isn't a bad sign.

I'm 12w at the weekend.

My symptoms have gone too. I'm guessing that's the placenta taking over!! Even though iv just been scanned I'm looking forward to the hospital scan next week !!

@Carebear99 yep I went private for first scan and NIPT.
I went private throughout my last pregnancy, it's expensive but it really kept my mind at ease.
I'll probably go private again but start later so it's a little cheaper 🤞🤞

@Carebear99 830 is brill!! You'll prob be first in so no waiting around!!

@ShiningStarz I last saw my little on 14 Feb, but I'll definitely be having more private scans as they do offer reassurance. Have a lovely day

9 weeks for me today and we're still going 😅 it's starting to feel more and more real 🥰 day off today so I'm slumped in some overbump joggers...heaven 😂

Hi everyone from a very anxious me :) been a while since I’ve posted on here but I’ve still been reading the thread.
I had my midwife appointment yesterday and she was lovely. I will be consultant led because of my pre-eclampsia last pregnancy and struggling with my asthma.

I was bleeding a bit again last week and this morning I’ve got pinkish discharge again. I’m fed up of this now. I can’t enjoy the pregnancy at all and feel constantly anxious which I know isn’t good for me or baby but I had nothing like this with DS.
Apparently my hospital is super busy too (Derby) so they can’t get me in for my scan till I’m over 13 weeks so it’s not until March 21st
Hope you’re all ok.

My boobs are absolutely killing today, thought it was meant to calm down by now

I'm 9w5d today and am finally getting close to the point when I can do my NIPT. My doctor said I can go to the lab to get my blood taken for it anytime after 10 weeks. I originally thought I would wait until 11 just to be safe, but I'm starting to feel way too anxious and want it done ASAP instead. I'm thinking of going on 10w3d. Is that too early? When did you guys have yours done?
