@pregnancydiaries I had a helluva time getting anyone to take it seriously. My first 2 rounds of antibiotics didn't work and the GP didn't believe me, because the infection only showed up in a lab culture test and not on any dipsticks.
Eventually I presented to A&E, bent double, weeping, begging for help. Triage did a dipstick, said I must be mistaken and sent me to gynae where they gave me lots of leaflets on antenatal depression and talked to me about how this was all in my mind. 😅 Sent me home in the same condition I arrived in... but rang me 24 hours later to say they'd sent my urine to the lab as a precaution and I had a really nasty infection. 😂 No shit, Sherlock.
@imhereforthecake I wake up every morning at 4.45 and then I'm up. I don't know if this counts?
@Flowerbug1994 don't start counting yet. The movements are probably more regular than you realise but you're just less likely to feel them when you're busy doing something, IYSWIM. It's not that they aren't consistent, they're just not consistently hard enough (because baby is small) to accurately count them. That said, I am satisfied if I feel them move a few times a day. So whilst I'm not monitoring it to a schedule, I would ring my midwife if I hadn't felt them move for a whole day.xxx
