@Vimto1991 - sorry to hear it, but 3 rough days out of 190-odd-days isn't bad, eh?!

I'm throwing a handful of berries into breakfast and the constipation is much improved. I would have thought prunes would increase wind!

@unknownscot and @PeeAche i've read it usually goes back to 'normal' after pregnancy anyway, but I want to keep mine forever.. ahhh, winter layers - another thing I hope goes back to normal, I am pretty chunky, belly aside and hope the wind doesn't change Grin

Vimto1991 · 11/03/2022 12:20

@destiEos I think that’s why they may help with trapped wind 😂😂
I’m not sure what it entirely was but the cramps, stabbing pain and pressure has gone!

Just to let you guys know Tesco have 25% off f&f at the moment. DH is a manager there and we get an extra 20% off so scored a bargain on a bunch more baby clothes. :)

Prema112 · 11/03/2022 12:25

@Vimto1991 I know, the midwife I saw was really not good, I had her a bit with my son and she just talks about herself and doesn't ask me any questions. So I was dubious that it was anything to worry about but didn't feel I could ignore her advice! Good to hear others have the same thing!

Ah - that makes sense, a good fart will solve a multitude of problems! Used to be a glass of wine or three, but still a while to go before we can get back to that Smile - I must admit to sneaking a small glass of champagne on the flight last week. It was wonderful Daffodil

JAR1981 · 11/03/2022 12:43

Happy Friday ladies! Pleased to see everyone is doing ok after the various scares this week.

I had a lot to catch up on so can’t remember who said/asked what, however…

For Omega 3 my nutritionist said I should def take unless eating 2-3 portions of oily fish every week. You just need to be careful about the ones you buy as one type of omega 3 isn’t safe in pregnancy. She put me on bare biology mums &bumps.

My innie has definitely started to pop. Not a full outie yet but looks weirdly frilly and can see it if I wear a stretchy top 🙈

Had my first growth scan yesterday and all still looking on track within the normal ranges. No amazing pics like @fpeg though, just pics of the HC, AC and FL measurements. Oh and my cervix which is still thankfully looking fine.

Congrats to whoever it was that said they’ve agreed on a boy name. Hub still vetoing the majority of mine but one has made the cut 🙌🏻

CurryandSnuggle · 11/03/2022 12:55

@Octoblockisadick I think she said from 37 weeks but I’m going to talk about it in more detail at my 34 week midwife appointment. I’d definitely ask if you’re interested in doing it.

I’ve also signed up to a breastfeeding class via NHS at end of April Smile

@PeeAche lol, my belly button is missing too 😂 so weird!!

Vimto1991 · 11/03/2022 13:41

I can see into my belly button and it disturbs me 😂 I actually think I must have had an issue as a baby as I have a little dark ball in my belly button, I think my mom said I had a hole in my umbilical cord, so I hope it doesn’t become an outie. That will not look attractive 🙈🙈

@JAR1981 we have two/three names we really like, but I feel bad about settling on just one before they’re born incase it doesn’t suit them! 🙈

PeeAche2 · 11/03/2022 14:09

😐 My account appears to have been taken over by someone else and I didn't even bloody know. They've been shit posting on my behalf all morning.

My entire account has now been taken down. (But I've emailed MN so 🤞)

PeeAche2: Return of the Waddler.

PeeAche2 · 11/03/2022 14:13

@Vimto1991 I think I would like to peer into your belly button and see this little black ball for myself. Sounds kinda gross and I kinda like looking at gross things. 😅

PleaseSendNoodles · 11/03/2022 14:23

Whaaaat? But how do we know you’re the real PeeAche and not a fake PeeAche?! I guess we may never know…

Also I realise nobody replied when I asked if it was bad I found hanging out with my friend’s 3 month old a bit boring after a while. So I’ll take that as a ‘yes. yes it’s bad’ 😩🤣

PleaseSendNoodles · 11/03/2022 14:24

Oh and @Vimto1991 @JAR1981 we’re doing the same with the shortlist thing but I’m accidentally getting more attached to one of the names!

PeeAche2 · 11/03/2022 14:27

@PleaseSendNoodles I guess you'll never know! 🥷

How can you ever trust me?

FYI, babies are boring and being bored of someone else's baby is legitimately fine. They're just grubs. You won't be bored of your own, because you won't get the chance.

My nephew is 1 in a month and he's finally getting interesting!

Prema112 · 11/03/2022 14:35

@PleaseSendNoodles Haha I answered your question in my head but didn't post! Not bad at all, I think babies are boring, unless you are a 'baby person.' But YOUR baby won't be boring. Everything YOUR baby does will be a tiny miracle! X

Prema112 · 11/03/2022 14:37

@JAR1981 @EarlGreywithLemon I think I need to up my salmon eating then!

Vimto1991 · 11/03/2022 14:38

@PeeAche2 haha it’s slightly darker than me and I’m the palest of pale so it’s not black but it is really odd to look at. I’d take a photo if my belly wasn’t… hairy right now 🤪

@PleaseSendNoodles it’s not bad! Remember you don’t need to love other kids, just your own 😂 hung out with my friends two year old and she stressed me out so much, her six month old just threw up on my sofa as her two year old destructed my house. I’m sure we will feel different about our own children. 😂

PeeAche2 · 11/03/2022 14:41

To be fair, you don't need to love your own kids. But it'll make it a lot easier on all involved if you do.

Octoblockisadick · 11/03/2022 14:46

Hahah, my belly button is usually really deep so it hasn't popped but its strangely flat looking!
@Vimto1991 I have a weird thing in my belly button too, like a little red lump. Don't really know how to explain it, a small raised red freckle maybe. It isn't normally obvious but now it's kind of at the edge of my belly button so more visible. Oh and my belly is hairy too now!

I've bought a birthing ball, it's great! Seems to be helping with the nerve pains down my legs so hoping that means baby has shifted away from where ever they were sat. Not sure of best way to use it though, heard circles are better than bouncing.

PleaseSendNoodles · 11/03/2022 15:02

@Prema112 @Vimto1991 @PeeAche2 Hahahaha thanks all. That’s made me feel like slightly less of a terrible person.

PeeAche2 · 11/03/2022 15:28

Just cut open a cupcake and slathered the inside with chocolate spread. And then snarfled it as quickly as possible so that I wouldn't have to share with anyone.

The baby made me do it.

pregnancydiaries · 11/03/2022 17:13

@PeeAche2 I'm intrigued, was the belly button comment the real PeeAche, or hacker...

Mainly because if that's the kind of comments a MN hacker is leaving, help.

EarlGreywithLemon · 11/03/2022 17:16

@Prema112 which is harder when we’re only allowed two portions if oily fish a week! I eat quite a lot of fish normally so I’m my first pregnancy I was stressing about what size is a portion of salmon!!

EarlGreywithLemon · 11/03/2022 17:16

*in my first

PeeAche2 · 11/03/2022 17:38

@pregnancydiaries the belly button comment was me! 😅😅😅

PeeAche2 · 11/03/2022 17:39

ME me. Not me the hacker.

Although, tbh I don't even know who I am anymore.
