@madeleine85 You've won the week for me with your 10 hamsters all called Bob. Hilarious 😂 My friend has named her little boy Cameron as her DH is Scottish.

@squatternutbosh12 Colin Collins. Love it! 😆

Welcome @koalalala At my most recent scan they identified a small pocket of blood too which they said is probably left over from implantation. It wasn't on previous scans (I'd already had 3) so I think it's just that as things are growing its pushing it into the field of vision now. They told me its nothing to worry about. Just one of those things.

Congratulations @Mufflette on your scan this morning and good luck @beckybloomwood11 and @KCat82 this afternoon!

Great news on the low risk @littlebutload and how lovely a girl!

@Gem2811 14+2 for me and still awaiting this miracle burst of energy too! Confused

12w2d and also awaiting any energy burst/the ability to feel well other than when I’m eating! Does not bode well for the next six months!

When is everyone thinking they’ll tell work? I work in an office so could keep it to myself for a while but I’m thinking 14-15 weeks.

Congratulations to all those who know the genders! So exciting! DH has taken issue with most girls names I suggest so it’s not going well so far 😂 I like Marina but the response was ‘I just can’t get boats out of my head’ 🙄

CoalCraft · 09/02/2022 15:11

So happy to hear everyone's good news!

I'm feeling a bit better this week, fatigue wise. Symptoms in general are easing, except for the constant hunger and bloating. Boobs are also randomly sore again 🤷

8 days!

Gem2811 · 09/02/2022 15:15

Oh dear I defo don't have any confidence in the energy burst happening anytime soon 😂
I told work after my 12 week scan but alot of people were already suspecting and I feel massive already as well 🙈

beckybloomwood11 · 09/02/2022 15:42

Had our scan, saw the baby and a heartbeat! It turns out I'm behind where they thought (which I was expecting as I had a negative FRER test at what should have been 4 weeks) - only 11 weeks instead of 12! So they couldn't do the tests today, and I have another scan booked for the 21st.

Was reassuring to see the little bean, and looking forward to seeing it again on the 21st!

squatternutbosh12 · 09/02/2022 15:43

@netflixandnochill I love Marina! I suggested it for a girl (husband and I met near the sea), but he didn’t like it either; had a similar boat-based objection 😂 And we’re having a boy now anyway!

SantiagoSister · 09/02/2022 15:55

So glad to hear everyone’s good news today 🥰

CoalCraft · 09/02/2022 16:00

@netflixandnochill @squatternutbosh12

My DH is terrible for names too. He rejects 9/10 of my suggestions but comes up with none of his own, or at least none sensible (when I asked him for a boy's name he proposed Zeus Hmm ). So essentially I get left with a small pool of "DH approved" names and am left to pick from them myself.

I'd have loved a Jocelin, Judith or Edith, but DB says no. What does he suggest instead? Bellisaria. 🤦

ToCaden · 09/02/2022 16:01

@beckybloomwood11 yay. Glad you had a good scan. It's really something to see the tiny baby moving around on the screen.

Guys. My underwear waistband is starting to feel uncomfortable, like it's digging into the possible growing bump. Any recommendations for solutions? I looked into maternity underwear and there are so many choices. Under the bump, over the bump? Is there another solution any of you found to replacing all your underwear (or one you have in mind for when you pop?)

CoalCraft · 09/02/2022 16:04

Er, DH, not DB! My DBs do not get a say Grin

netflixandnochill · 09/02/2022 16:10

@squatternutbosh12 Lovely reference to where you met. We met in a park… Maybe the next one will be a boy and we’ll call him Parker! Sounds weird now but I was convinced she was a boy and had started calling her Eric 😂 now, she’s Erica but we’re not actually serious about Erica as a name.

@CoalCraft Same! So quick to veto something but doesn’t come up with an alternative. 🤔

Glago2017 · 09/02/2022 16:17

Had my scan today too and everything is looking good. Due date of 21st August which was what I thought. So nice to hear everyone's good news. 🥰 x

ToCaden · 09/02/2022 16:18

@netflixandnochill now I'm reminded of Parker from leverage (one of my favourite female TV characters ever).

netflixandnochill · 09/02/2022 16:35

@ToCaden Didn’t know Parker was unisex! Will mull that over for a few hours until it inevitably gets veto’d this evening 😂

squatternutbosh12 · 09/02/2022 16:39

@netflixandnochill ooh that’s weird we’ve been considering Eric!
I actually like Erica too, it fits into that widely known but not commonly used category. Could team it with a ‘girlier’ middle name perhaps.
Erica Bluebell just popped into my head…
Although half the time i’m like ‘is that actually a brilliant suggestion or am I drunk on hormones?’ Confused

Gem2811 · 09/02/2022 16:56

Names wise I'm thinking Peyton for a girl and Lucas for a boy just now finding out the gender in a few weeks can't wait!

xana99 · 09/02/2022 17:06

Argh had some slight spotting last night and now pretty sure I have a UTI. I've spoken to early pregnancy and they are seeing me Friday ahead of 12 week scan on Monday but I just want to cry I feel so lousy. Doc phoning me back, so hopefully some antibiotics will be with me by tomorrow and I can start to shift this!! I never have UTIs either, not prone to them at all but apparently they are super common in pregnancy?! Who knew?! 😫

mamaof2girls · 09/02/2022 17:26

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow so am really excited about that to see the little bean again and see how much they have grown! X

BunnieMilk · 09/02/2022 17:33

@mamaof2girls I have mine too! 10am first official 12 weeks scan. I just want to see my two babies wriggling around again. Would love to know the sex but not sure if it's too soon? ☺️

BunnieMilk · 09/02/2022 17:34

@Gem2811 I have a Luca, my 2 year old son

Mufflette · 09/02/2022 17:51

Great news @beckybloomwood11 @Glago2017 hope your scan went well @KCat82 and good luck for those tomorrow!

mamaof2girls · 09/02/2022 18:05

@BunnieMilk yeah I have mine in the morning too. I have already had 2 scans already. Nhs scans don't let you know the gender till 20 weeks and private ones are from around 5/16 weeks! With my other 2 I always had a early gender scan around 17 weeks but won't be doing that this time! X

Gem2811 · 09/02/2022 18:14

@BunnieMilk lovely name bet he loves the film!

BunnieMilk · 09/02/2022 18:16

@Gem2811 funny enough we've never got round to watching it yet 😂

Cakecakecheese · 09/02/2022 18:23

I've not had this mythical burst of energy but I am a bit less knackered than I have been so I'll take it.
