Thanks everyone for your support. It's nice to know I'm not the only one but also sorry that I am not if that makes sense!

I think I'm overthinking it. I know DH was worried how I'd cope being pregnant with two little ones and I dismissed it. I think the reality has hit me how hard it's actually going to be and although I'm still happy to be pregnant and can't wait to have this little baby, I'm sad that I'm already having to step back from things. Especially with my boys. I know it's only a short time (although it feels time has stood still) so I have to just suck it up and look forward (god willing) to the things we will do as a family later this year.

I'm already 7+1 I and I joined the thread at my bfp so that's nearly three weeks that's gone already. The scan pics have really cheered me up too. I hope we manage to squeeze ours in before our trip to centre parks (at 12+4) else it will be very close to the deadline and a long way off!!

Hope everyone is coping ok today..I cant imagine having HG. Honestly, you ladies are so so strong 🥰🥰🥰

girafferafferaffe · 11/02/2022 18:49

Ahh which center parcs will you be at? I love center parcs

EverydayIsPJday · 11/02/2022 19:02

Ah that's great to hear. Were going to Woburn. It's our first trip, we booked it last year. We figured we should go whilst we can afford it outside of the school holidays! My eldest starts reception in September Grin

girafferafferaffe · 11/02/2022 19:06

Aww lovely! I've not been to that one!

Belle2210 · 11/02/2022 19:09

Oh man really feel for you guys with bad nausea and sickness 💕. Mines is still here but on and off, never constant. Sick usually once a day in the morning then nausea waves through the day. 9w+1 LMP or 10 w going by early scan. Definitely seems less now than 2 weeks ago.

Congratulations on the twins! @Hopingforainbow27

I'm being brave and watching One Born Eveey Minute this evening 😂.

Random question but does anyone find they have one hell of a libido right now? 🙈Absolutely pointless as my husband works away! 😂 Never expected this as a symptom but know it happens.

TotoAnnihiliation · 11/02/2022 19:11

@Belle2210 even though I am very very poorly right now, my libido is through the roof. I keep having very dirty dreams about DH!

calipoppy · 11/02/2022 19:13

@EverydayIsPJday I totally feel the same about taking a step back - I feel like I'm missing out on so much time I normally spend worth DD at evenings and weekends! I'm trying to just plan loads of fun things for spring so I can keep reminding myself of those when I feel sad and guilty! It's so tough can't imagine having 2 little ones like you!

Belle2210 · 11/02/2022 19:17

@TotoAnnihiliation 😂😂 It's not just me then! Hopefully you have some time to take advantage when you're not ill ashame 💕😂. So strange when it's like I'm already pregnant so 🤷‍♀️😂.

Oh goodness not me. I'm the opposite. Probably because I'm so tired and my boobs are killing me!
Belle2210 · 11/02/2022 19:45

I've found my boobs are much less sore when they're in a bra 24/7. I'm one of them creeps that usually wears a bra all the time anyways but really notice a difference if I haven't worn one over night. I'm not huge chested though so I'm sure that prob has an affect too.

EverydayIsPJday · 11/02/2022 19:49

Absolutely zero libido 😬 actually more likely the reason DH is grumpy 😂

Just spoken to DH as I get ready to go to bed early again Turns out he's watching back to back all of the marvel movies 🙄 I needn't of worried, he's got a plate full on of cheese and wine.

I'm also making a mental note of things I now want to do when I'm not pregnant....😂

madeleine85 · 11/02/2022 20:05

@EverydayIsPJday I will be having a frozen strawberry margarita/froze and some chicken nuggets (can't look at chicken still) :) I already am creating my list haha.

madeleine85 · 11/02/2022 20:08

Also agree that I have zero desire for sex. I am also kinda terrified as i've had sex twice since finding out we are pregnant (poor DH), but every time I do it causes very slight spotting/increased CM which reminds me of when I went into early labour with my DD. I have a 16 week internal scan because she was a premie and i'm hoping that they can tell me that things are safe then/cervix is really closed etc. Then I might entertain the idea again. My DH is so obviously not into the pregnant sex, so he is more than happy with canned wine, the sofa and the dog snuggles/TV right now instead thankfully :)

annlee3817 · 11/02/2022 20:13

Love Woburn centre parcs, we're booked to go in December a week before the school's break up, taking DD out of school. Handy as it's only forty mins away from us.

Libido is non existent, but I've shut it down because I wasn't allowed to last pregnancy due to an incompetent cervix, so not doing anything this time unless I get the ok from the consultant, first appointment 4th March 🤞 poor DH, it's been ages

@madeleine85 how prem was you last one? My DD was 5 weeks early, I'm wondering if I will need extra monitoring this time?

The wine and cheese I'm sure will keep him just fine 😂.
madeleine85 · 11/02/2022 20:26

@TotoAnnihiliation she was 6.5 weeks early but tried to come at 31 weeks so I think they’re probably taking it from that point. Tbh after 3 weeks of the NICU last time I’ll do whatever I can to keep this one in till full term

PrettyTulip · 11/02/2022 22:11

😂😂 I'm the same, completely closed shop since having that BFP.. it's been about 5w now.. poor DH 🤣

Peauela · 12/02/2022 09:35

Girls, really hard to catch up there is so many posts here every day! 😂

I am sorry to hear about your nausea etc. I was wondering if anyone is symptom free / have very mild symptoms?

I'm 8+3 today and apart from extremely sore boobs and fatigue I'm doing great. Some nausea here and there but nothing major. I am starting to worry that no symptoms is not a good sign 😅

annlee3817 · 12/02/2022 10:05

@Peauela I was symptom free in my last pregnancy, just sore boobs from eight weeks :)

OP posts:
ShiningStarz · 12/02/2022 10:57

@Moonshine160 how are you feeling? Hope the scan today going well x

@Peauela I also have mild nausea, can eat and drink fine, just a slight sicky feeling (didn't have this in my last pregnancy). Also sore boobs, not so tired, oh and lots of creamy mucus!! Sorry TMI!! I'm 9w 5.

Moonshine160 · 12/02/2022 18:00

@ShiningStarz
All was fine at the scan! So relieved. Heartbeat was strong and in the normal range too. They couldn’t see where any bleeding would have come from so it must have been from my cervix from the internal scan. I am surprised as there was a LOT of blood, like a period and small clots. Needless to say I will not be having one of those scans again!
Had some more brown discharge since being home so I don’t think I’ll be able to fully relax until it’s stopped but so thankful for some good news today.
Ps. At first I thought the yolk sac was a second baby and nearly died :D X

EverydayIsPJday · 12/02/2022 18:06

Congratulations @Moonshine160 I'm really pleased it went ok and little bean is strong 🥰 hope you're feeling better

TotoAnnihiliation · 12/02/2022 18:08

Congratulations on the scan @Moonshine160, I hope the bleeding stops soon and you can start to enjoy your pregnancy.

Today, I've had very little nausea and now I'm completely paranoid that something is wrong. I had my booking in appointment with the midwife today. I'm high risk due to my weight 😳 and previous c-section and prem birth. I have my bloods appointment booked and my scan booked to. I hope they come around quickly!

Dreamer30 · 12/02/2022 18:09

@Moonshine160 so glad your scan went okay! What a great picture, so clear
