@annlee3817 that is incredible!! At my 10 week scan I got a 2 second peak and no pics/videos. My NIPT results will be sent via a online portal but for some reason i never get notifications, so I just have to check it 14 times a day for this week lol.

@IzzyLeigh ahh I do not miss NYC winters... I feel cold on your behalf being in Buffalo! Hope your husband is making a good effort at keeping you warm :)

holdonbaby · 07/02/2022 22:04

@annlee3817 that sounds amazing ❤️

So happy for you- please share a picture!

And you are staying in this September group lol as you started the thread and we know you 😝

annlee3817 · 07/02/2022 22:08

@holdonbaby ha ha yes staying put, my original due date is 1st September, I'm sure on ovulation as only DTD once that week, so will keep to my original due date group 😉

@madeleine85 sorry you didn't get pictures :( but fingers crossed your results come through quickly
@handbagsandholidays how are you feeling now?
Hello,

I'm doing ok thank you for asking. The cramps eased for a couple of hours yesterday evening but flared up again the whole night! 😔 just one more day until my scan. 🤞🏽🤞🏽 I'm trying my best not to worry but it's really tough as I don't think cramps should be this strong or constant.

annlee3817 · 08/02/2022 09:20

@handbagsandholidays what time is the scan tomorrow?

OP posts:
EverydayIsPJday · 08/02/2022 09:22

@handbagsandholidays I have everything crossed for you tomorrow. I haven't experienced any prolonged cramping myself but pregnancy is so incredibly random at times I think anything is possible and doesn't necessarily mean the worst. I hope you are ok.

Is anyone starting to feel better? I really need to see some light at the end of the tunnel. I'm 6+5 now and am honestly exhausted from morning to night despite me going to be at 8.30 everynight (Albeit my youngest keeps waking in the night again which doesn't help). My tongue is now cracked from being so thirsty which seems impossible as I am drinking so much (or it feels like it). Aargh. I'm meant to be working today but am just sat gazing at my laptop.(wfh). I don't have the strength.

hayleynk27 · 08/02/2022 09:25

I'm 10+3 now, the nausea has really eased up the last few days. Literally happened over night, I've just been struggling with headaches instead now and even more tiredness. It's all fun isn't it!

handbagsandholidays · 08/02/2022 09:29
@handbagsandholidays what time is the scan tomorrow?
@EverydayIsPJday @annlee3817

My scan is at 10am tomorrow so thankfully not much longer to wait! Just today to get through. Thank you both for your kind words. Pregnancy is so erratic and there seems to be no textbook guidance. Almost every symptom that is a cause for concern can also be completely normal! 😅

I'm sorry I don't have any light to share as you know I'm finding it tough too but we are more than half way through our first trimester which is hopefully a milestone to celebrate! X

Congratulations! What a wonderful scan picture!

Billymay · 08/02/2022 09:31

@annlee3817 aww look at your little baby 🥰

EverydayIsPJday · 08/02/2022 09:31

@hayleynk27 that's great to hear the nausea has eased up. What a relief for you. I really hope it's similar for me. Were off to centre parks when I'm 12 weeks 😂 I can't imagine anything worse right now.

Damn the tiredness though. I don't remember it being this bad before. I know I have two kids this time around but I'm literally floored.

EverydayIsPJday · 08/02/2022 09:34

@handbagsandholidays you are right I need to focus on the good bits. Sorry, I know some are suffering way more than I am. I think it's a case of the Monday blues (I don't work Mondays so it's that for me today!) And feeling terrible mum guilt for being so lethargic ATM.

I need to refocus 💪 I have booking in appointment weekend after next, that can be my next goal.

No no I didn't mean it like that and hope I wasn't coming across as belittling your struggles. I didn't mean to and that was not my thoughts at all. I just meant that I'm sorry that I can't share a positive story as I don't have one right now! Lol the only positive I could think of was the fact that we are half way through what feels like the hardest trimester. I genuinely don't remember my first pregnancy being this tough! Xx

handbagsandholidays · 08/02/2022 09:39

@EverydayIsPJday I'm totally with you on the mum guilt front. I'm currently working from home and have a 10 year old. He had a friends birthday party the other day and I didn't stay as I felt really nauseous and it was a cookery lesson. His friends mum text me later on to say that my son had said he would have loved for me to stay and participate as the other parents had but that he knew I was unwell and needed to rest 🥺 You're not alone in feeling this way. Xxx

EverydayIsPJday · 08/02/2022 09:49

Ah don't worry I was offended, I just need to give myself a head wobble. It's so hard when you can't talk to anyone in real life. DH seems pretty closed off ATM so I haven't moaned much to him, but he's taking up a lot of the slack which has helped. I don't think he really registers until the 12 week scan.
I'm sorry you felt bad at the weekend, the mum guilt is terrible isn't it. I feel like I'm constantly apologising (in one way or another) to the kids. Be worth it in the end though I know, and it goes quickly in the grand scheme of things.
I really appreciate the support. Be thinking of you tomorrow morning X

Am loving the baby scans everyone is sharing, they are so lovely to see 🥰🥰🥰

Billymay · 08/02/2022 10:02

@EverydayIsPJday my husband is the same. I say I’m exhausted and he says he is as well 🙄 from the scan ge gets a bit more considerate but it’s these early days that’s hard. Xx

EverydayIsPJday · 08/02/2022 10:33

It's tough isn't it @Billymay they just don't get it, but I guess how would they? My DH had some concerns about having a third because he knew how difficult I found it being Pg with my eldest the second time around. I poo poo'd it as it's 'such a short time' (d'oh) but I think with him theres an element now of 'i told you so'. It hasn't helped that I'm going to bed so early so we're aren't getting much alone time (and no sex 😬). I'm sure things will improve though.

I hope you are coping OK. This will all be a blur in a few months 🤞🤞

handbagsandholidays · 08/02/2022 11:13

I'm sorry to come back for a moan. I've just had red spotting when wiping 😭 the next 24 hours are going to be the longest!

annlee3817 · 08/02/2022 11:18

Sorry @handbagsandholidays anyway you could call and see if they could get you in today due to the spotting?

Sorry *@handbagsandholidays* anyway you could call and see if they could get you in today due to the spotting?
I already rang the epau and they said that it's not enough to warrant a trip in. 😔 I supposed there isn't anything I can physically do either way aside from having the benefit of knowing. Just hate this stress and uncertainty. 😓
MOLWI · 08/02/2022 11:34

@handbagsandholidays ah so stressful :( how far along are you? Have you had a scan at all yet?

Hopingforarainbow27 · 08/02/2022 11:41

Does anyone constantly feel constipated but aren't? I feel pressure down there all the time but I've just been to the toilet!?

annlee3817 · 08/02/2022 11:42

Sorry @handbagsandholidays hope today goes quickly for you!

OP posts:
EverydayIsPJday · 08/02/2022 12:11

Really sorry to hear that @handbagsandholidays I hope you get some reassurance tomorrow

PrettyTulip · 08/02/2022 13:06

@Hopingforarainbow27 I'm the opposite, I just can't seem to go, I think that's making me feel bloated and crampy -- but I'm eating and drinking what I'm supposed to to help 😩😩
