@Hopingforarainbow27 prune puree works really well for me, you can either make it or get those Ella's kitchen prune pouches. If I'm struggling I have one before bed plus plenty of water and then wetabix for breakfast.

Felt a bit more normal yesterday and this morning and now I'm worrying something is wrong. 🥺

Honestly I didn't think this would be such a stressful time. I'm trying to be happy but I mostly worry that something may be wrong. Pregnancy and how I feel is completely different than what I imagined. It's beautiful and I already love my little bean but wish I could just know that everything is going to be alright.

Women are extremely strong.

@Peauela agreed. I really underestimated how treacherous the first trimester can be. I thought maybe there would be some point where I would be okay with letting myself get excited, but I think I just get more and more nervous but also more and more attached each day, which makes it hard not to get excited. BUT the more excited I get, the more guilty I feel, like I'm almost jinxing it. Like I'm constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop.
This whole experience thus far has really made me appreciate just how precious life is—more than I had realized before. It's truly a miracle there are so many of us in this world.
And yes, women are strong as hell, even if we are mostly powered by chicken Big Macs right now haha

Had to call in sick to work for the first time in years. Got a stinking cold (not Covid!) and just can't do it. Doesn't help I can't dose myself up and carry on!

Hi! 9 weeks today with my second DC and just found this thread. Seems like you're all mostly suffering the same nausea as me Usually in the gym heavy lifting and CrossFit 4 times per week, think I've made it all of once per week the last three weeks. Bring on the second trimester!

Looking for a wee bit advice if anyone has any?
For almost a week now I've had a burning warm feeling in my lower abdomen, it's above where you'd get period pain but not like a gastro kind of pain.
I thought I maybe had a uti but I sent in a sample, it was dipped at the GP then sent to the lab and all came back negative.
Yesterday it felt like a build up of pressure when I was walking around and like the bottom of my tummy was so full and heavy.
I've no idea what this is! Sometimes it's hot, other times I'm having a cramping pain. I've looked up round ligament pain and it doesn't sound like that and I think I'm too early to have that if I did (7w+5d).
I have a private scan booked tomorrow and all I can think is that I'm going to get bad news. Had anyone had anything similar?
I understand it's a lit of information lol I'm just really worried. Thanks ladies.

I think it's just all stretching and growing down there! Is it your first?

@girafferafferaffe that's what I'm trying to tell myself. I had 2 losses last year and it's difficult not to worry.
My 2nd, but my daughter is almost 13 lol I was 18 when I was pregnant with her so very young and can only ever remember thinking "I'm pregnant" and no pains 😅🙈

My physio has cleared me to run today, well an accelerated version of couch to 5k, now just need the nausea to bugger off so that I can get back on it.

I'm so nervous to be told bad news. It's the only experience I have of ultrasounds unfortunately (albeit I've only had 1!)

@PrettyTulip thanks and good luck for yours also! The clinic I booked with just emailed me half an hour ago saying they've had to cancel my scan due to unforseen circumstances, so I quickly booked in one of their sister clinics 20 miles away 🤣 I'm desperate to know everything is okay and like you, worried for bad news. I pray it's all good for us both tomorrow!
