@Dreamer30 omg no way! Can't imagine how you feel, that would have made me panic even more I think; glad you've managed to book in with another one though.
Which one are you going to?
I'm going to ultrasounddirect which I think used to known as babybond?

Dreamer30 · 04/02/2022 17:49

@PrettyTulip I know! They sent it at 17:01, 1 minute after their phone lines closed for the day so I couldn't get in touch.. typical!
I'm in Scotland so I've booked with ABC4D. I booked with the Falkirk clinic which is less than 5 mins away, and now I'm off to Edinburgh instead lol.
The Falkirk clinic said they'd contact me on Monday to rearrange and I can't wait that long!
I haven't heard of them but there's so many! What time is your scan? Mine is 1pm now

PrettyTulip · 04/02/2022 17:51

@Dreamer30 oh I've never heard of them either! Strange how different it is in various areas isn't it!

I'm booked in at 11:50 😭 praying for good news for us both x x

annlee3817 · 04/02/2022 17:54

@yesthatsright oh no, hope it's mild, get lots of rest and fluids

@annlee3817 congratulations!! That’s going to feel great when you’re back to and literally running ❤️. I got back on a treadmill yesterday and I’m massively slow and out of shape after a month off, but felt good to try.

I had the 10 week scan today and he was in there moving around, and there was a heartbeat, so all is as it should be right now which was a relief! They used the wrong machine setting at first and showed nothing, almost gave me a heart attack lol

Dreamer30 · 04/02/2022 18:00

@PrettyTulip do update as soon as you know! So exciting/scary lol 🥰✨️

annlee3817 · 04/02/2022 18:02

@madeleine85 that's great news about the scan :)

Yep I'll be getting in my treadmill too and expect to me slow lol

Last night I suddenly started feeling better. I still feel nauseous but not as awful as I had been. I've got loads of spots on my face 🙈 and I'm panicking about feeling better! I had a MMC before my daughter and I guess once you have had a loss in pregnancy you never enjoy being pregnant.

Hopingforarainbow27 · 04/02/2022 18:46

I'm 7 weeks and feel like there's a pocket of trapped air in my tummy, depending how I move or what way I sit. Has anyone else had this?

madeleine85 · 04/02/2022 19:40

@TotoAnnihiliation how many weeks are you? I still stand by the weeks 7-9 are generally the worst for feeling rough. I'm 10 now and have noticed a real improvement in my energy, stopped feeling as sick etc in the last week. Now i am just a bit tired.

Belle2210 · 04/02/2022 19:47

I too have a first scan tomorrow after having to cancel last weekends 🙈. Crossing my fingers also that it's all good news 🤞. My mum's coming along as my husband is away working. I'm telling her I'm pregnant just before we leave for the scan so really hope it's turns out to be a great experience with a happy ending 🤞🤞🤞

Belle2210 · 04/02/2022 19:51

@TotoAnnihiliation I felt the same, until I was sick again this morning 😂. Hard to but try and enjoy the break of feeling a hit better.

@annlee3817 Congrats on getting back going again. I was just away to start a training program when I found out I was pregnant. Now I'm not sure exactly what's safe. Think I'll get started with guidance when I'm 12 weeks.

mummysept22 · 04/02/2022 20:05

Yayyyy!! I was trying to hold out to 8 weeks but couldn't stand it any longer, went for a private scan today and all is good, gorgeous little heart beat 🥰 I guessed I was 7 and measured at 6+5. Dating scan isn't until March 17th, so glad I have peace of mind for now ! I don't know how anyone waits that long 🤣 I wish I had that patience xx

@Belle2210 that's cute, welcome to the scan tomorrow crew! Where does she think she's going with you tomorrow then? How far along will you be?
PrettyTulip · 04/02/2022 20:42

@mummysept22 amazing!! Glad you had a positive scan 🥰 it's so incredible how much they change from these early scans to week 12 isn't it 🥺

Belle2210 · 04/02/2022 21:22

@PrettyTulip
I'll be about 8.5 weeks. She thinks we're going for breakfast 😂.

Sezwasezwa · 04/02/2022 21:40

Hi guys, I'm 6 weeks baby no 3. I'm feeling rough but have started having hot flushes throughout the day for the past couple of weeks. Has anyone experienced these before in early pregnancy? I'd love the Facebook group link please 😊

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 04/02/2022 21:48

I was so tired this afternoon. I went to see my mum and she sent me for a nap and looked after my toddler. I managed 45 mins. I was so grateful!

madeleine85 · 04/02/2022 22:23

Good luck to all the tomorrow scans - sounds like there are a bunch!

@Whatelsecouldibecalled that sounds like absolute bliss. I live for weekdays right now as I work from home and my 2 year old is in daycare. Weekends are a bit torturous. Hoping my need to rest 24/7 goes away ASAP! I have a hen do tomorrow and no idea how i'll survive dinner/being awake past 10pm

annlee3817 · 04/02/2022 22:28

Congrats @Sezwasezwa one of the admins should be along at some point and will post the FB link :)

@madeleine85 I'm 7+2. I think I will feel mentally better after the 12 week scan which will help my physical symptoms.

madeleine85 · 04/02/2022 22:40

@TotoAnnihiliation I'm crossing everything for your 12 week scan, it is such a big milestone. Honestly even though i've had a 10 week one, it was like a one second flash on a screen. The younger doctor at the practice is really nice but so fast, and was like ok i see a heartbeat, and movement, turned it off pretty much straight away, no picture for me or anything! The 12 week has so much detail and will bring much more reassurance. You will be there before you know it, though the early days are fairly dragging by. Have you passed your MC date yet? A lot of people seem to see that as a big milestone, so hopefully you're at least there and can breathe a bit/try to "enjoy" a different pregnancy.

20viona · 05/02/2022 07:28

Looking forward to seeing everyone's early scans. Mine is next Saturday when I'm 8 weeks, hoping it's abdominal I don't fancy meeting Wanda!

annlee3817 · 05/02/2022 07:52

I had abdominal @20viona at my 8 weeks and with a titled uterus, so hopefully you'll be ok, the internal ones aren't that bad to be honest, had a lot of them in my last pregnancy

20viona · 05/02/2022 07:53

@annlee3817 thanks for the reply! Last pregnancy I had abdominal at 9+2 so fingers crossed. I'm a size 12 though but my friend recently who's a size 20 had vaginal at her 11 week scan!
