Hi all,

I've just had my BFP and am due early October 2022, for my first baby I joined a group on here for people all due the same month so thought I'd start one this time round - early days I know but nice to speak to people in the same boat! 🙂

I'm 31 and have a DD who is 16 months.

Is anyone else due in October? How are you feeling?

Congratulations @Crazybear91
Lovely story!
My due date is 12th I think!

I will be having and early scan at 8 weeks in the first week of March to date the pregnancy and to be reassured as we had a MC before.

mooonbaby · 30/01/2022 19:55

Congrats Crazybear and all the other BFPs.

I’m 13dpo today, due 10th October, and I’m cramping a lot. Similar to AF pains, but definitely different. I’ve also been reaaaally tired today.

TigerTinsel · 30/01/2022 20:18

Welcome @Crazybear91 and to all the new joiners. I love reading your stories 🥰

@Leibee87 @Aubyone I spotted the bump one too it does look good and that is true about some being too cheesy, I think whichever I choose I'll also have a blank notepad as well for additional research. This is my first too @Aubyone, I spent tonight 'researching' what foods to avoid and have added some additional items to next weeks shop 😁

@BecLJ I think it would be a nice keepsake although some are quite detailed and could feel like homework 😬

frenchie4002 · 30/01/2022 20:28

Hi all! Great to read your stories. Can I join please? Due 11th October. Seems to far away! Super excited but very nervous after having a MMC last October. I have also come down with Covid so really hoping that doesn’t effect anything. I’m resting and drinking lots of water so fingers crossed.

Mangopassionfruit · 30/01/2022 20:44

Hi everyone 😊 tentatively joining. Got my BFP at 12dpo yesterday. Due date 8th October. This would be DC2, DS is 20 months. Had night sweats & cramping which I had in last pregnancy (& the 2 before that which ended in miscarriage), feeling a bit dodgy in the afternoons & very tired. My boobs aren’t as sore as previously but I’m still breastfeeding so that might explain why.
Weirdly I seem to have developed tinnitus at the same time as the other symptoms started, not sure if it’s pregnancy related though so will give docs a ring tomorrow!

Will have a private scan at 7/8 weeks :-), had a MMC previously so need to put my mind at ease.

milliemd · 30/01/2022 21:00

Congratulations @Mangopassionfruit - I think we share the same due date!
I have tinnitus too on and off, thought I was imagining things🙈😂

moonpie32 · 30/01/2022 21:21

@BecLJ i had to phone up and she said "14th April ok for you?" And I actually laughed and said what about my 12 week scan...silence 🙈

Seems to be a lot of October due dates already 😊 I'm never going to be able to keep up

Mangopassionfruit · 30/01/2022 21:50

@milliemd ahh that’s exciting! I ovulated a bit late so I wonder if the date is a bit early.

Tinnitus thing is so weird!! Hopefully it goes away soon!!

Leibee87 · 30/01/2022 22:46

I had so many different due dates from the calculations. I think the 7th is probably about right for me. Guessing the dating scan will clear that up.

Anyone else got creamy cm? I have gone from it being watery (and lots) to thick and creamy just wondering if that's normal?

BrowneC · 30/01/2022 23:44

I'm also due October 2nd, will be 5 weeks tomorrow. Second child but been a decade since I was last pregnant!

Samthenanny · 31/01/2022 08:30

@Mangopassionfruit & @milliemd I’m also due the 8th oct 😊

@Leibee87 I can’t help with your CM as I’ve been waiting to experience this as everyone talks about getting more when pregnant but since the end of my fertile week I’ve been dry which is strange

handbagsandholidays · 31/01/2022 08:44

I'm either 6wks today from my midwife's calculations or 5+4 based on my own calculations ... I've had white sticky CM over the last couple of days. Feels quite weird and noticeable enough to be there when I wipe!

Darcy1990 · 31/01/2022 08:46

@Leibee87 my CM has been quite creamy as of last couple days but like @Samthenanny it felt quite dry at the start (I’m 4W5D).
I actually tried to find some info about what it “could/should” be like and haven’t seen any good resources regarding CM in early
pregnancy. Maybe anyone else can help?

Trying81 · 31/01/2022 08:47

@Samthenanny I’ve been the same

Boobs still killing, I’m still worrying I’ll see blood everytime I go to the loo - I’m always anxious anyway but I’m hoping this particular worry will ease after a scan

I now seem to be having a 3am wee every night which is frustrating as it takes me an age to get back to sleep

Samthenanny · 31/01/2022 08:58

@Trying81 oh really, least I’m not alone. I might get the odd bit when I wipe but that’s not very often at all.

my boobs have hurt since even before I got my BFP, I’m extremely tired, I need naps in the day, I get nauseous, I’m stupidly and painful bloated of a eve and it feels like I’ve done a 30min ab workout, they hurt so much 🤣 and like you I wake about 3-4 for a wee!! And it’s killing me, I usually sleep solidly until my alarm goes off.

I’m the same as you though, im slightly anxious and I always check once I’ve wiped for blood. 100% need a early scan to ease my mind a little bit.

Leibee87 · 31/01/2022 09:02

@Trying81 yep also joined the 3am wee club 😂

Yeah I was dry then really wet and now creamy / wet. Also equally panicking daily I'm going to mc. I had almost constant cramp yesterday. But its not overly painful.According to flo I'm 4+4 today. Will do a digital at end of the week again and see if the weeks have gone to 3+.

Trying81 · 31/01/2022 09:04

Yep I’m same with the bloating and getting cramps, not too severe thankfully. Oh and lots of lovely wind Grin

Trying81 · 31/01/2022 09:04

@Leibee87 yes I want to do a test myself to see that it’s gone to 3+

imfm · 31/01/2022 09:05

Hi all, tentatively joining the thread. I'm currently 4+1, due 8th Oct going by LMP. I MC'd in September at 9 weeks, and it's fair to say I'm already super anxious about this pregnancy. I started testing pos 6 days ago which is super early, and today I'm experiencing awful nausea so everything seems to point to this one being a strong wee thing.

Samthenanny · 31/01/2022 09:07

Oh yes the wind, I wish we had a dog to blame it on 🤣

syda · 31/01/2022 09:08

Morning all! Hoping to join with an October baby, got a faint pos test yesterday and a definite positive on an FRER this morning. So happy and excited!

Had a MC in October so I think it's going to be quite a tense time for the next few months, but nonetheless I will aim to just enjoy it and 'be pregnant' in the current moment.

Also already have a 19 month old at home.

Feeling quite a few symptoms already, dont recall that with my other two pregnancies, but have been nauseous for days now 🤢

Anyways lovely to see this thread is so active!

Trying81 · 31/01/2022 09:23

Congrats @imfm @syda

scottishsunshine96 · 31/01/2022 10:14

Congratulations to everyone else that's joined- it's so exciting how many of us there are already!
I rang the midwife this morning and I've now to wait for a letter to come through telling me more- don't know what to do with myself in the mean time! It's also really hard for me to know how far along I am- the midwife noted me down as 7 weeks according to my last period, but I've been having really long cycles so know I will have ovulated later. My clear blue digital showed 2-3 which would mean I'm more like 4-5 weeks. Anyone else got the same problem?

TigerTinsel · 31/01/2022 11:19

@Leibee87 I'm also 4+4 today and was cramping a bit more than normal yesterday too. Also producing more CM.

natkasz · 31/01/2022 12:07

I'm 4+1 (due on 08/10) but apart from tiredness, I have no symptoms like cramping or sore boobs. My last pregnancy was pretty uneventful but I recall my boobs being super sensitive in the first 12 weeks.

Also, I am rhesus negative so slightly concerned about it this time round in particular considering my age 😫
