Hi all,

I've just had my BFP and am due early October 2022, for my first baby I joined a group on here for people all due the same month so thought I'd start one this time round - early days I know but nice to speak to people in the same boat! 🙂

I'm 31 and have a DD who is 16 months.

Is anyone else due in October? How are you feeling?

Hi @JulietOscar the initial symptoms you've described do tend to improve as your body gets used to pregnancy. Cramps only happen at the start.

You may be drinking less subconsciously if you've stopped going to the loo much?

And boob pain also gets better. They aren't meant to hurt for the whole pregnancy 😊

If you didn't have nausea before then maybe you're one of the lucky ones who won't get it? Have you booked an early reassurance scan? That could make you feel better!

I'm going to book one for around 8 weeks. 12 is way too long to be anxious about what's going on!

This trimester is so long!

With my first pregnancy my symptoms kept disappearing periodically. For weeks sometimes. I also didn't have a bump or feel movement until 24 weeks. I would have totally doubted I was pregnant if it weren't for the scans... but I was and he's 2.5 now!

I was super tired last 2 weeks but am not feeling as bad this week. I feel the tiniest bit nauseous occasionally (thats not unusual for me either, I have a terrible stomach) but other than that no symptoms.

My husband just found out he is on a training course the day of our 7 week scan and he won't be able to make it 😢 I think I'm going to book in the day before for a private one as I want us both to see the baby for the first time!

@sml98 exciting stuff hopefully midwife will help you pin down date. Reckon I'm due 4th Oct x

Tentatively joining... had my faint BFP this morning, have had a few chemicals so hoping this one sticks. If all good then 23rd Oct will be due date - 6 days after DH's. Am yet to tell him! AF due Sat/Sun so will wait until then to tell him & will do another test before hand.

Hey all, feeling a little despondent today as I'm 5+4 by LMP and still getting 2-3 weeks on CB digital. I also don't have any symptoms yet, so in kind of disbelief that I'm actually pregnant. I really was hoping for a 3+! My last successful pregnancy was 5 years ago so can't remember what I felt like at this stage previously. All a bit worrying after a MC in September.

Looking forward to joining the FB group and connecting with everyone on there.

@imfm I was literally coming on here to post the same… I’m 5+5 by my LMP, got 2-3 a week ago today so was expecting 3+ and got 2-3 again this morning. My only consolation is that I ovulated slightly later than normal so by that could be 5+2 which might explain the lack of 3+ yet.

Even with my MMC a couple of years ago I got my 3+ when expected though. Been getting quite a lot of lower back pain. Not feeling 100% about this working out to be honest :-(.

@Mangopassionfruit I'm sorry you're feeling this way. Try to stay positive until you can know for sure. It's such a worrying time but you got this!

Is anyone getting cramps and aches in they hips/lower back? So odd, can't tell if it's related or not?

Went for an early scan at the EPU today and saw the heartbeat- definitely makes it all feel real now! I was really unsure in due date because of my irregular cycles but the scan put me at 6+2. Now just to wait for my booking in appointment with the midwife which is on 23rd Feb!

Hi All! Tentatively joining. I have had a scary couple of days on holiday. I’m definitely pregnant (positive test) but it might be ectopic or it possibly might be an implantation bleed (pain was excruciating for about 3 hours though!) v little blood just pain…

Anyway, I fly home tomorrow and will be going straight to the hospital! I have seen a doctor in Spain but we’re in a v small place and they don’t have ultrasound facilities etc.

This is our sixth cycle of trying and we’re delighted if it all works out but ngl pretty worried.

I have really bad lower back pain most days. I think I am 5w1. And got 3+ yesterday

So after my excitement last night over the 3+ on cb digital ive just had blood when going to the loo. Pink stained on my pants and also when wiping.

Absolutely terrified. I cant even cry about it as I have a toddler to chase and family visiting who dont know about the pregnancy.

As I'm just short of 5 weeks this could be a chemical after all?

Just joining after getting my BFP today. Have a DD 20 months old currently. Excited and nervous!

@syda with my DD (now sat on my knee), I had spotting from CD29-CD33 on a 28day cycle. Assumed it was AF but turned into DD. Try not to worry, if it's light and pale in colour then it's fairly common for early pregnancy bleeding I think x

@scottishsunshine96 aw that must've been so good! According to NHS app I'm 6+2 today too 🥰 my scan isn't until 23 March - long wait 😬 x

@syda I had pinkish when wiping once about a week ago (am 5+4 now) got my 3+ a couple days ago. Try and stay positive ive read its normal for a little pinkish spotting these first few weeks x
