Due October 2022

Hi all,

I've just had my BFP and am due early October 2022, for my first baby I joined a group on here for people all due the same month so thought I'd start one this time round - early days I know but nice to speak to people in the same boat! 🙂

I'm 31 and have a DD who is 16 months.

Is anyone else due in October? How are you feeling?

@syda I've had the same today light pink when wiping but TMI it was after a bowel movement. Then had a tiny clot this afternoon when I wiped but literally nothing else. I'm not worrying about it as like others have said bleeding lightly is fairly common - I think I may have a sensitive cervix.

I have my booking in appt tomorrow so will be telling them about it. Might look to book an early scan soon as I'll be 7 weeks on Sunday. 🙂

Depending how things are going to progress I think I'm definitely going to go for an early scan now! Wil aim for around 8 weeks I think (which is still like 3 weeks away 😬)

@Riviera90 glad you're feeling ok! I've been a tiny bit nauseous and had diarrhoea 🙈but nothing too bad. I was lucky when I was pregnant with my son too so hope the same this time x

Nice to hear how you're all progressing. I'm super bloated, pretty tired, and this week have started feeling sick. I wish I could chat with you all more, but work has been so busy! Will check in as often as I can.
I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and I've booked a private scan on Sunday! Will let you know how it goes

I'm only 4+2 but my god the lower back pain is real! Reading about why this is happening is truly fascinating.

Have my booking in appointment and scan confirmed now. Feeling so happy and excited, and then really worried and anxious about the pregnancy progressing. Just wish I could relax and enjoy being pregnant more, because I am, and that's amazing

@Bluets I feel ya with the lower back pain! Right into my bum too lol! I keep getting cramps and little sharp 'pains' in my lower belly.

Feel like time is going so slow, I'm obsessed with checking my apps, watching YouTube videos and reading up on everything! I'm 4+6 and just so excited! I am nervous all the time that something will go wrong but I'm staying positive and trying not to stress too much. I start a new job on 21st and so nervous to tell them! Unsure when I should... 😬

@hrhxo I just started a new job too! It's my 5th week this week and I'm 5 weeks pregnant! I'm going to try and wait till I'm 12 weeks if I can, I work from home so should be able to hide it. And I can hopefully make a good impression in the mean time! We have been trying for 9 years, talk about timing!!

I started bleeding yesterday with a lot of clots so I think I've lost my baby so im going to leave this group. I hope everyone else's goes well though, I'm wishing you all the best of luck! x

@Chl03 I'm sorry to hear this :( Early pregnancy is brutal with yes/nos.

I'm remembering why I hate early pregnancy now because all my bloated feeling has gone and I now just feel totally normal. And then your mind starts playing tricks that perhaps it's not sticking and this is the start of the end. I've still not passed AF date and I feel like my excitement has been too early. Should have waited.

Symptoms fluctuate but yeah I find that too like today I haven't been sick (yet) but I am just trying to trust the process. So anxiety provoking that's for sure.

Hello! I'd love to join, been lurking since getting my BFP on 27/01, I think I felt like joining would somehow curse things 🙈 I'm due on 5th October with my first. So excited but also feeling nervous, we've booked a private scan for next week when I'll be 7+4 so hoping that will calm my nerves a little.

My symptoms are also fluctuating a lot, sore boobs are almost constant and I feel like the tiredness and intermittent nausea have really ramped up this week. Rich Tea biscuits are my friends right now 😂 excited to follow everyone's journey!

@HRHXO Hey! I am 5W2d and also start a new job on 28th Feb! Sooo nervous about how and when to tell them, feeling super awkward as I am only just starting. I wasn't sure whether to even just stay in my current job but then I read that they can't discriminate against pregnancy. Either way - feeling very awkward about it. I think I am going to wait until the 12 week point to let them know though!

@Ang011295 oh congrats on the new job! I also considered staying at my old job but before I even knew I was pregnant but because I was trying I thought it would be better for maternity etc but I just hated it there so so much. I think I'm going to wait until after 12 weeks to tell my new place too, so nervous because I actually want this job and will return after I have the baby!

Glad there are others in the same position who I can't discuss with!

Sadly I will also be leaving the group.

My pink spotting has developed, I'm now properly bleeding with cramps.

Heartbroken is the only way to describe this.

So sorry to the other losses. I’m also out. Early scan this morning showed very small sac 4-5 weeks with some bleeding around it. I’m certain of dates so know it won’t work out. Good luck everyone!! Xx

I’m so sorry to hear your news @Chl03 @Mangopassionfruit @syda thinking of you all.

How is everyone doing? My nausea has ramped up, it’s not too bad but just feeling sick first thing in the morning and also late afternoon/evening. I also much more tired than last time, but I am nearly ten years older than last time, so it’s not surprising I guess.

Does anyone have any feelings as to whether they’re having a boy or girl?
