Hi all,

I've just had my BFP and am due early October 2022, for my first baby I joined a group on here for people all due the same month so thought I'd start one this time round - early days I know but nice to speak to people in the same boat! 🙂

I'm 31 and have a DD who is 16 months.

Is anyone else due in October? How are you feeling?

@Curlywurly3

Hi *@Diamondbabe* I think we have exceeded the clicks again, try again now fb.me/g/2NPJfe0qR/gteQcfz7 Let me know if doesn’t work x
I tried the link and it doesn't seem to work..
SharkoG · 09/02/2022 16:48

Thanks! I feel good, actually not many symptoms, just very sore breasts and bigger appetite. Oh and feeling super exhausted!
How about you?

Meganrobyn · 09/02/2022 16:49

Hi all.

Joining ( ish ) - haven't got a BFP yet but a faint positive yesterday! Re testing Friday. Had a miscarriage last month so no idea exactly how many DPO I am. Me and my now ex had sex once after the miscarriage + did pull out method... Seems that doesn't exactly work lol.

This would be baby #5 but 8th pregnancy! Although this was not planned at all I am really hoping the test is darker Friday.

Congratulations to everyone :)

@maybein2022 yes I've really gone off meat! And anything with too much flavour, savoury plain food only - my stomach somersaults at the thought of eating anything else 🤢

Curlywurly3 · 09/02/2022 17:29

@SharkoG how about now..

All the links keep doing is taking me to my feed/homepage.
I went off chocolate right when I first found out (that was a sign for me) and started liking orange juice.

Yellowdott · 09/02/2022 18:36

@maybein2022 I have the same symptoms! Feeling nauseous in the evening and craving both smoothies and salty things! Hate ham but was desperate for a ham sandwich the other night.

I had a girl before and my nausea was a lot worse. I think I'm carrying a boy this time. Will you find out?

Hope42022 · 09/02/2022 18:40

I bit the bullet today and made the self referral to my local maternity unit so it’s all feeling real now. We also booked in for an early scan which will be 7-8weeks as I want the reassurance. As a twin, I also want to know sooner rather than later if I need to be prepared!

So far no food aversions for me. I’m just feeling grumpy (and extra tired) about cutting down on caffeine! I love my super strong coffee but am making do with one weak tea and decaf for the rest. I did love a chilled glass or two of white wine so I am going to miss that a lot, but I know it’ll be worth it.

What’s everyone doing for vitamins/supplements? Google scared me into getting pregnacare max but I can’t help feeling I’m being robbed blind, even with a 3 for 2 deal.

maybein2022 · 09/02/2022 19:00

@Yellowdott that’s interesting we are the same! I will definitely find out- way too impatient not to. I’ll be having the NIPT test (harmony test) as I’m older this time- so will be able to find out then. Will you find out? I don’t mind either way, although my teenage daughter is desperate for a sister! My little boy doesn’t know yet.

@Hope42022 oooh that’s exciting! I have a private scan booked for just over 7 weeks. It feels like a long time to wait though! I am taking Seven seas pregnancy vitamins which were on 3 for 2.

jadew88 · 09/02/2022 19:20

Man the tiredness has hit me today! I had a nap after work which is very unlike me. I seemed to hit a wall around 2pm. I know that's a normal circadian low, but I don't normally feel that tired...

newmum93 · 09/02/2022 19:49

Hello! I’m just joining.

I’m 5+3 and so excited!

I’m 28 and this is my first pregnancy 😊

syda · 09/02/2022 19:55

I cracked and got some CB digitals today out of curiosity 😁

Got a 3+! Yay! I think I'm about 4+5 so was expecting 2-3 at least.

This is me done with the tests now 😂

Due October 2022
Diamondbabe · 09/02/2022 19:56

I don't think they do blood tests as standard so I wouldn't know about the dates for that. Usually you have a booking in scan around 8 weeks ish with your Health visitor and then a 12 week scan x

Diamondbabe · 09/02/2022 20:05

How many weeks/days are you those who have got their 3+. I tested Sunday on a CB and got a 1-2 weeks so want to test next week and hope to get the 3+.

Currently I'm 4 weeks today, I was 3w+4 so should it be more than 1-2 on there?

Curlywurly3 · 09/02/2022 20:08

@Diamondbabe I’m 4+1 today and got my 2-3 weeks this morning

KirstyJayne82 · 09/02/2022 20:40

@SharkoG felt a bit nauseous but today is my first day of feeling really exhausted. Was like this last time but harder with a toddler to look after too 🙈

syda · 09/02/2022 20:45

@Diamondbabe I've just read about these digital tests (curiosity as my 3+ seems a bit soon for dpo) and apparently while they can be really clever and correct they can also get it so wrong. Some women reported getting 3+ one week and 2-3 the following while still having a successful pregnancy.
The consensus seems to be: as soon as its pos just stop testing, easier said than done though 🥲 xx

peachesarenom · 09/02/2022 20:52

Hi everyone! Congratulations to you all!

I'd love to join! As the OP said I found my toddlers due date group a huge support so would love to be involved again.

Just got my BFP today! Woop!

Leibee87 · 09/02/2022 20:54

I was 5+5 when I got my 3+ but I did one at 5 and still got 2-3

Diamondbabe · 09/02/2022 21:03

Ok thanks for that that's useful @Curlywurly3 I've only got one CB test left so I'm going to hold out until next week and use it then to hopefully get the 3+.

I've booked a scan for 6w+1, it's early but I did get a heartbeat with my little boy at 6w+3 so fingers crossed it's not too soon.

Diamondbabe · 09/02/2022 21:06

@Leibee87 @syda yeah im not reading too much into it. It came as a back of two so I used the first one to get the written pregnant ha so I've got one spare which I might as well use.

With my little boy I didn't do any further tests. I think it's much healthier as you just constantly worry and over analyse everything.

The wait before 12 week scan is so annoying but I like the fact that you already are 2 weeks further ahead than it feels lol x

SharkoG · 09/02/2022 21:09

I just use multivitamins without vit A, added folic acid on top of that, iodine, calcium and vit D. Plus I always take vit C supplement and joint-care supplement. Didn't bother to buy special "pregnancy" vitamins after checking all the ingredients and having already multivitamin for women (that doesn't have vit A).
I know the voice in a head still says maybe I should get "dedicated" stuff but I think it's just very good marketing!

sml98 · 09/02/2022 21:35

Hi everyone hoping to join in, not 100% sure on dates as this was a surprise but think it's very end of September/beginning of October x

Riviera90 · 09/02/2022 22:33

Hi!

Please can I join got my first ever BFP on Monday after TTC for 2.5 years! On my 3rd cycle of clomid and due around 18th October.

Feeling very anxious and still in shock! With a lot of cramping and a bit of spotting but from PPs on here I’ve had a bit of reassurance that it’s all normal.

Congratulations to all of the other BFPs on here so far!

JulietOscar · 10/02/2022 07:59

Hi ladies. Hope everyone is doing ok!

Has anyone else’s symptoms totally disappeared?! A week or so ago I had sore boobs, loads of period-like pains/cramps and kept needing to wee all the time! And now nothing! I’m 6+5 and feel completely normal - no nausea or tiredness or anything! It’s making me worried that things aren’t developing properly.

Anyone else worrying over a total lack of symptoms?!

Xx
