Calling all the September 2022 mums/babies :) Here is our 2nd thread. Hoping for lots more new joiners, and early pregnancy stories.

@BlueSky57 aww I hope you manage to get it sorted. I've had cramps but no diarrhoea with them. I'm glad they're taking you seriously as I know how rubbish they can be at times fobbing people off! Let us know how you get on

@Flibbyjibby I came out of my HG pregnancy having lost about a stone. Fingers crossed the meds keep the sickness at bay at work- you don't need all that extra anxiety!

@Whatelsecouldibecalled My son is a very large 7 year old who still likes sitting on my lap and climbing. I've told him I've got a tummy ache (to also explain the blood tests) but luckily he'll understand when we break the news to him.

I can't wait till the 12 week point where I'll feel comfortable to tell our parents and our 7 year old.

1st HCG blood test on Tuesday (7+1) was 44,000. So happy with that, hoping for a doubling today and then hopefully the GP will refer me for a scan just to be sure it's all in the right place. (Still getting the right sided pains but convincing myself more and more they're normal.

Only another couple of weeks till I'm at my next "safety marker" when my risk goes down and I get past the point of any of my previous losses.

Are you ok? Is there anything that's making you especially emotional?

I don't have many symptoms but I had a loooong sleep last night. I was asleep by 10 and then got up at 8. I'm still tired though!

Thanks @chasingtherainbow1. I think I’m most worried about the diarrhoea at this point as I worry baby wouldn’t be healthy as the folic acid & healthy food I’ve managed to eat is just disappearing down the loo I am actually surprised the doctor wanted to see me as I thought with it being my first pregnancy they’d just think I was imagining things.

@petitlapin1 it’s good to know that it’s normal to have CM and also to not have it, thank you.

Good that they are finally looking into things 💕. Sorry hadn't realised you had been that unwell to be dehydrated with it. Hope they can give you something to help.

I jus don't a digital test to see if I was progressing and it says 3+

Definitely puts my mind at ease! Won't do anymore now!

Thanks @Belle2210. It started out as just annoying but has got worse as the week has gone on. I’m thinking it could just be a badly timed stomach bug but want to get it checked just incase

@TotoAnnihiliation this morning it's been because the dog is following me around everywhere (no idea why this has made me cry)
My husband opened the windows before he went to work and it's so cold (again - not a reason to cry)
Have cried again because I got a pay rise before Christmas, just got my payslip and the tax deducted is so much it's made my pay rise much less than I thought :(

No real reasons, just must be extra sad today!

Hi all, nervously joining! Second pregnancy and got my BFP two days ago, so I'm only 4 weeks. Feeling nauseous and permanently hungry with sore boobs already though!

@surprised12 oh bless you! Do you think your blood sugar levels might be a bit low? I find that makes me emotional.

I'm freezing, I would normally get a hot drink to balance out. I've stopped coffee since getting BFP and tea still tastes like dish water.

Can you have a smear when pregnant? I've just had my letter through?

Ooo why not try a hot chocolate?

I've just ate a whole bag of mini eggs so maybe not the blood sugar! I just need to go to sleep and stay there until tomorrow :(

I was the same with my first born too, they said to wait 3 months after birth. So have presumed it’s still the same guidance

@Whatelsecouldibecalled no you cant have a smear when pregnant, you'll have to do it a few weeks after the birth.

@BlueSky57 I read somewhere that some women get diarrhoea instead of morning sickness. I hope you feel better soon, sounds quite painful. Poor you xx

I have been feeling miserable, I am having to eat every 2 hours or I feel so ill. I am actually getting bored eating and bored of foods.. I fancy anything!

I am also really struggling with nasal congestion, which DR believe is a sinus infection with blocked Eustachian tube as my ears are so muffled and sometimes get almost like a blood flow sound. Its really getting me down. On a second course of antibiotics.. dr says its due to increase in fluids in body.. but cant help but feel like I am being fobbed off!

Anyone else have this?

@BlueSky57 I had diarrhea at around six weeks for the week, I assumed it was the antibiotics I was on, but it's calmed down now

Thank you for your well wishes everyone. The doctor was fantastic, very thorough. She has referred me to the local hospital where I’m sat waiting right now.

My temperature was up so I could have a tummy bug but she wanted to rule out appendicitis and ectopic pregnancy due to the pain I have on one side of my lower stomach. She tested my urine and confirmed I’m definitely pregnant & found no water infection so those are two good things.

@BlueSky57 oh good I'm glad you are being seen! Hopefully they can put your mind at ease today and you'll start feeling better soon!

I have nasal congestion too! I feel so bunged up. I do remember from my last pregnancy that this was a common symptom.

I sent off my first sample of blood to test level of hcg... Next one to be taken on Sunday, hopefully by Wednesday i will know if the pregnancy progresses correctly. I'm so scared!
