@Pinkflamingofly I know this but I am such an anxious person it's hard to stop 😂 I am a worrier 🥲

Billymay · 20/01/2022 13:20

I’ve been doing my easy at home ones and I’ve been finding that it’s hard to compare as after the time they start to run? I’ve ordered some digital tests so last sat I was 1-2 weeks I’m hoping tomorrow I’ll 2-3 and then the following I’ll be 3 + I’m keeping everything crossed that this little bean sticks xxx

Pinkflamingofly · 20/01/2022 13:21

Yes I get it ladies, it's really hard to stop worrying, isnt it?
I think I'm going to buy a cheap test from home bargains before next week, but for the enjoyment of seing a line appear on it after many months of bfn

Mags146 · 20/01/2022 13:22

@chasingtherainbow1 please stop doing it. Do you have any bleeding or cramps? Daily testing added to my anxiety and it didn't do any good to my mental health. Today was the first day I didn't do it and I felt much better, more positive.
There is so many variables that my influence colour of the line, its just not worth it. Sending hugs 🤗❤️

Hopingforarainbow27 · 20/01/2022 13:23

If I do a digital test how many weeks should it say I am? I got my bfp last Wednesday (I think at 13dpo)

Pinkflamingofly · 20/01/2022 13:24

@billymay how many weeks are you? I have one CB left, and planning on using it next week when I'll be 5 weeks. I got 1-2 weeks at 10 dpo two days ago, I wonder if I should use my last test next week or the following one when I'll be 6 weeks

Billymay · 20/01/2022 13:34

@Pinkflamingofly I got 1-2 at 10 dpo too, I’m now 15dpo so in theory I’m hoping on Saturday it will 2-3 🤷‍♀️ Xxx

chasingtherainbow1 · 20/01/2022 13:37

Thanks guys you've been great. I will stop checking and maybe just do my cb weeks indicator next week because it's seems a waste to spend £10 on it not to use it 😂

I got 2-3 at 15dpo but could have been earlier because I didn't test before. I'm not going to do the second one until 22dpo I don't think.
This is the threshold though given by their leaflet so I think it varies a lot when people get them
@MSH95 congratulations! You have a positive test, and your symptoms sound very positive, so I am cautiously optimistic for you. When is your next test scheduled for? When I had my DD it was unplanned, so by the time we found out we were 5-6 weeks in, and the yolk sac was clear on the scan, though nothing else at that point, but that was on an internal scan. Sending positive hopes your way for your next scan x
Hello! Just an update as I have been to the EPU for a scan this morning and I am measuring at 6 weeks. They did an internal scan but couldn't see the flickering heartbeat. They said it difficult to determine the dates due to my PCOS and irregular cycle it's possible I didn't conceive until early December but then why did I get a 2-3 week result on the ClearBlue. They have booked me in for another scan next week to see if there has been any growth and development to confirm if it's a viable pregnancy. It's just so worrying and hearing them say they can't see a heartbeat was so sad! I'm trying to think positive and think maybe implantation was later than I thought due to my cycle and maybe it's just too small at the min to see that heartbeat but it's so hard! Fingers crossed next week is better news🤞🏻🌈💖

Just found this thread, requested to join the facebook page, didn't have anything like this with my first so it would be nice to have it now

TotoAnnihiliation · 20/01/2022 15:07

@PrettyTulip I'm trying to word this delicately... my CM is clear but has a slight white tinge. I seem to be "wet" down there a lot, I worry that I smell 😳

I think I'm feeling my symptoms a bit more because I'm off work at the moment, I have time to ponder everything. Absolutely dreading going back on Monday.

PrettyTulip · 20/01/2022 15:42

@TotoAnnihiliation omg same!! Glad it's not just me with that then.
Sorta seems a bit like the fertile EWCM all over again - I was kinda scared my cervix was opening and that's why so much was coming down 😖

Oh maybe?! I'm at work and wishing the days away 🤪🤪

Littlebun1 · 20/01/2022 16:25

I'm getting the same CM! Think it's common though and it's meant to help keep the cervix healthy!

Is anyone else experiencing back pain? I've had it all day today!

madeleine85 · 20/01/2022 16:26

@Bigkingdom congratulations on the pregnancy, but I hope you are ok, that sounds like bad timing, I hope you are working through everything and taking care of yourself x

@girafferafferaffe that is the best feeling isn't it?! I fell asleep at 8pm last night and it is amazing what undisturbed sleep can do for you!

@TotoAnnihiliation i'd die for a Greggs right now. Give me that sausage roll :)

@Peauela those are great HCG progressions! I think I tested mine quite early on and they went from 125 to 250 or something like that. I know I tested early, I wish I had waited as I have a friend who had multiple MCs and said she kept stalling at 600 each time, so I drove myself demented until the scan, but all was fine. As long as it is doubling I would try to feel positive. It is a good sign, and the doubling indicates it isn't ectopic (per my dr).

My doctors office just sent me all my test results from last week, but they do it with no explanation and a straight upload of the lab work, so i'm sitting reading my blood results like ok no HIV/STDs still... great. Maybe I am blood type A+? Don't have early indication of gestational diabetes, good I guess. Just one email saying all fine would be good lol. I also picked up a fetal doppler (heartbeat thing) from another mum yesterday and it was much too early to use it (weeks 7-8), and it had me wondering if I was dead myself from the slow rate lol. Guess ill try that again at week 12 :)

@MSH95 I'm glad that you got to see something even if not a heartbeat. Really hoping that there is one there for you next week. I know the PCOS/unknown ovulation date must really make things challenging. Please let us know how you get on, and until then we are crossing everything for you x

@PrettyTulip try to not worry about there being a lot. It is weirdly a good thing. You want a lot at this stage as your body is forming the mucus plug from it which will keep the baby away from infections. I am 7-8 weeks now and it is definitely beginning to dry up, though everyone is very different with CM. I went through a week-2 where I was scared to exercise as that seemed to make there be more, and I was worried (though for no real reason) that something was wrong. Just trust your body that it knows what it is doing at this stage I think x

Hi everyone, I am 8 weeks tomorrow and have just tested positive for covid. I feel awful so tired, terrible head ache and nausea/cramps on top. Just wanted to see if anyone had any advice about this. I will ring my midwife tomorrow and see what they say. Just can't help but worry.

Billymay · 20/01/2022 18:04

Hi @Murphyy so I’m only just 5 weeks, I’ve just got a 2-3 weeks on a digital… last week my husband and 2 dds tested positive and 6 days later I did… I’m now on day 3. So far we’ve had mild symptoms, I’ve had more of a sore throat and my glands have swollen in my throat. I had a headache but not sure if that was hormones or covid… just rest as much as you can, have lots of fluids and just check in with your midwife. Xxx

madeleine85 · 20/01/2022 18:13

@Billymay congratulations!!! That is a great progression :)

@Murphyy drink so much water to hydrate and I think paracetamol are pregnancy safe and kep suppress high temperatures. Good luck, hoping with Omicron it is a wee bit milder for you x

Oh good another one in the CM clan 🤭

Yes, my lower back has been giving me a little jip x

Oh I didn't realise that. I thought the mucus plug was there straight away so I've learnt something new 🤣🤣

girafferafferaffe · 20/01/2022 20:22

I've been having very sharp pains today so I know everything is busy in there! 7 weeks today.

Isonthecase · 20/01/2022 20:33

If you're really fascinated by the cervical mucus you can actually see pictures of a pregnant cervix during a colposcopy and it is fascinating seeing how different everyone is. Think it's called the beautiful cervix project.

Before everyone thinks I'm a weirdo I looked before a colposcopy as wanted to know what to expect, I don't just go round googling cervix photos for fun...
