Morning! I found out i’m pregnant a week ago and then found out my partner has cheated on me! Great timing. I’m only 4+ weeks but having quite bad period type cramps. I’m sure i’m going to lose this baby too (i’ve had quite a few chemicals last year and a MC at 6 weeks).

PrettyTulip · 20/01/2022 07:46

Morning. 5w4d and seem to have lost my tenderish boobs this morning (tbf they were only tender to begin with when I kept prodding them 😅)

I know symptoms can come and go but it's so hard to stay upbeat with a previous MMC. I'd so trade sickness over nothing at all 😔

I understand, I had a previous MMC too. I don't think I ever enjoyed pregnancy after that, I was a nervous wreck when pregnant with DD. My symptom fluctuate, they definitely get worse when I am hungry. Right now, I'm starving but can't bear the thought of any food what so ever!

@madeleine85
Sounds amazing, and that’s so lucky that you haven’t got HG this time! It would be difficult to look after a toddler feeling like that wouldn’t it.
Let us know when you find out the sex, how exciting! I think we’re going to keep it a secret this time but part of me is dying to know.
Yes the chance of miscarriage is still quite high but the chances of not miscarrying are so much higher :) I’m trying to be cautiously optimistic but everything is still a big worry. And I’m still doing tests like a crazy person on Internet cheapies! They have really bold lines now, once the pack is gone I’ve promised myself I’m not buying anymore now.

Oh I'm so sorry about that, that must have been an awful shock. Try to stay positive about your pregnancy- lots of things can happen but baby can still be fine. Might be worth contacting EPU xx

Good morning ladies. Here is an up to date link for the Facebook group.

girafferafferaffe · 20/01/2022 08:19

Omg I got a full nights sleep! Dd didn't get up until 7:15. Woohoo!

PrettyTulip · 20/01/2022 08:29

Thanks @TotoAnnihiliation .. I think having the little bit of pink mucus didn't help either. I just hope it doesn't keep making appearances 😔

Haha! No food aversion here, was super hungry the other night but that certainly passed and I haven't had it since.

And I keep feeling like I need a number 2 (sorry) but I can't go? I'm also really scared of going toilet in case I harm the baby somehow 🤦🏻‍♀️

Billymay · 20/01/2022 08:41

@becky Thanks for the link… I’ve just joined. It is private isn’t it to other people? I’m starting to think I hope it doesn’t come up on peoples news feed that I’ve joined a due in September page??? Xxx

annlee3817 · 20/01/2022 08:54

@Billymay completely private :)

TotoAnnihiliation · 20/01/2022 10:22

I've just burst into tears because my husband was nice to me. He came home from work to check on me and said he will buy me lunch from greggs.

Mags146 · 20/01/2022 10:23

I just requested to join the FB group :)
So I've been doing line progression giving myself massive anxiety to the point I woke up yesterday at 1:30am neededing to pee and decided to to the test... Line came up a bit lighter than previously and I had actual melt down and panic attack. Thankfully my partner reminded me that I slept only 2 hours at the point and drunk loads of water before going to bed. Morning test came back darker than the one done in the middle of the night. I also decided to do clear blue and it showed 2-3 weeks pregnant so that obviously means the levels of hcg are growing... I decided to stop testing daily and reading stuff on the internet, and I already feel so much calmer.
My symptoms come and go, today I have the worst neusa I've had so far, some pains in uterus and loads of white, milky discharge.
Sometimes i get lightheaded and shaky, quite hungry too.
I am 5w1d, however accordingly to my ovulation I'm 4w4d. Waiting impatientintly to go beyond 6.5 or 7 weeks to get my scan done. In the meantime I'm booked for next week to check hctg blood levels to see how pregnancy is progressing.

Very anxious and nerve-wracking times...

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 20/01/2022 10:28

Where are you booking your scans?

Mags146 · 20/01/2022 10:56

I have 2 clinics close to where u live, one is called "window to the womb"

annlee3817 · 20/01/2022 11:47

We've got an independent clinic, the sonographer does scans at the hospital and also for the local fertility clinic,

chasingtherainbow1 · 20/01/2022 12:09

@Mags146 I have also been doing progression and it's sending me mad. I'm 5w today going by lmp but only 4w4d if I go by ovulation.

I got a really strong line on frer at 13dpo, I'm now 18dpo and the line hasn't got darker but hasn't got lighter either. I've also been doing easy@home tests which I know are quite bad for line progression but I feel like they've also stalled.

I got cb 2-3 weeks on Monday so might just leave the tests now for another few days and see if that progresses instead . I have had 2 mc and no children so I know I sound a bit weird but I think I still have a bit of PTSD about it all.

The pic shows my frers from 16 and 18dpo and the easy@home is 14 to 18dpo. I need to stop googling because it's looking at other examples of dye stealers by 16dpo that's making me worry

I have a scan booked at the EPU next Friday also but feel like I cant relax until then because I don't want to get my hopes up.

How far along are you? I'm so jealous of your symptoms lol
TotoAnnihiliation · 20/01/2022 12:52

@PrettyTulip I'm 5+1. It seems to be going so slowly!

PrettyTulip · 20/01/2022 12:54

Whaaaaat! I'm 5w4d and absolutely nothing 😞

What would you except CM to be like at this stage?

PrettyTulip · 20/01/2022 12:55

*expect

Peauela · 20/01/2022 13:00

@chasingtherainbow1 hey! I've been checking progression too, photo enclosed. I feel like mine aren't getting any darker either 🥺 I don't know how many DPO I am today because we weren't tracking this cycle but I think I should be 15-16-17 DPO.

I got my bloods done on those days:

14.01 - hcg 45
18.01 - hcg 160

Dr said all good and no need to repeat but I feel like it's very low 🥺

Pinkflamingofly · 20/01/2022 13:07

@chasingtherainbow1 @Peauela your tests look completely normal, please step away from the pee sticks... I understand you're feeling worried but I'm sure everything is fine. Only tested on two days, now I'm going to use my last test next week and that will be it. I'm worry but you're going to drive yourselves mad if you carry testing every day

Pinkflamingofly · 20/01/2022 13:09

I know it's still early days, but are you guys going to find out the sex? I want to keep it a surprise like we did with baby 3, but DH wants to find out. I'm thinking maybe he could find out and not tell me, but it is really realistic?

chasingtherainbow1 · 20/01/2022 13:12

@Peauela your levels seem fine and there's a definite progression in your tests. I think you are fine ☺️

@Pinkflamingofly I know you're right, I need to find a way to control my anxiety about it all. I only have a couple of the cheap tests left and said I wouldn't buy more after that. However just after posting my last comment I decided to do a test with smu as I see that's best for some people. As per the pic, I think I may be one of those people. I drink quite a bit of water on an evening.

I promise I'll put the tests down now and if you see me worrying about it again, you have my permission to come throw the tests at my head 😳
