No symptoms at all here either, although I'm only just 4 weeks today (14 dpo) from my predictions. I've purposely been going to sleep earlier at night because I'm always so tired during pregnancy!

I feel like it's been months since I found out and I only tested Sunday 😂

LooseyGoosey · 19/01/2022 09:57

Hi all! Please can I join you? Got a BFP on Monday and think this LO will be due around the end of September. My DS will just be turning 2 at the same time... eeek! No real symptoms yet so I'm frantically line watching still and hoping for the best.

Belle2210 · 19/01/2022 10:14

5 + 6 and been sick for the first time after nausea waves since about 4.5 weeks 😭. Was hopeful that my mum and sister never had it. Now wondering if it could be twins like people have said to me my whole life 🙈 (dad's a twin).

Any tips for getting through Teams meetings with camera on? Giving me anxiety that I ll need to run off and throw up in the middle 😔. I've no idea how people who are in the work place deal with this. Absolute heroes.

MOLWI · 19/01/2022 10:28

Just back from my first scan! All looking good, so relieved! They dated me around 6+3 which is just a couple days earlier than I was thinking but they said at this stage give or take a few days. And also saw a strong heartbeat flickering away 😍 all feeling so much more real now!!

Tmt246 · 19/01/2022 11:07

Hi guys! Can I join too please?
Got my BFP on Sunday if dates work out I’m due 23rd September! Other than achey boobs I don’t really have any symptoms yet!

Pol29 · 19/01/2022 11:12

Very very discretely joining this thread with a huge fear of miscarrying again...I should be 4weeks today. Sharing and reading your stories will help me to keep my sanity...I hope:-)

Hello guys! I've been reading all the comments on this page but not wanting to join for the below reason. Hoping I can get some support from you all 🥰

I had a MMC in July at 7w1d. Saw the little bean on ultrasound but unfortunately had no heartbeat and I naturally miscarried the next day. There is no pain like it - truly excruciating.

Im now pregnant again at what will be 5w3d from LMP. EDD 18/09. As you can imagine, I'm a nervous wreck.
I did however, have a dot of pale pink mucus last night (nothing really since..) so obv I'm thinking the worst.
I took a digital on Monday (5w1d) which said 2-3 weeks and then one this morning (5w3d) which said 3+
The only 'symptom' I have is a dull ache in my uterus area ... is this normal ??

Happy pregnancies 😊 xxx

calipoppy · 19/01/2022 12:42

@annlee3817 good idea, will try those! My mum turned up today with almost every biscuit under the sun so hoping some of them will work 😂

Pinkflamingofly · 19/01/2022 12:57

I'm glad I'm not the only one with zero symptoms!

@MOLWI that's amazing, congratulations!

@girafferafferaffe there's 24 months between the first 2, nearly 5 years between 2 and 3, and there will be 24 months between 3 and 4! I'm so happy how it worked out, they work well in pairs 🥰

@PrettyTulip I'm sorry for your loss. I dont have any symptoms either, but I only found out yesterday. I dont remember having symptoms when pregnant with the two first babies either, so I'd say it's normal

BntTowers · 19/01/2022 12:59

@PrettyTulip I would say a dull ache is a good sign, you uterus will be expanding, hoping everything continues to go well.

The morning sickness feeling has stepped up a notch for me today, felt really bad during my DDs music group this morning. 🤢

PrettyTulip · 19/01/2022 13:05

@BntTowers thank you. That reassures me a little!

I'd love to have morning sickness! I get a little sicky feeling after I take my folic acid but it passes after 20 mins or so

BntTowers · 19/01/2022 13:11

@prettytulip I was thinking that yesterday, bit it is full on. It's hard to remember that symptoms can come and go. I'm just hoping I won't be so exhausted for the full time like last time.

surprised12 · 19/01/2022 13:22

Anyone got any tips for feeling less anxious??

I've booked another scan for this Sunday (will be my second private one) just to try and tell myself everything is okay.

Today I'm worrying because I weighed myself and weigh exactly the same as I did early December - which is making me worry!! I'm 8+3 today so surely I should have put some weight on already?? Has anyone else?

annlee3817 · 19/01/2022 13:41

So pleased the scan went well @MOLWI

Congrats to the new joiners

@surprised12 I don't think it's massively common to put weight on in the first trimester, I don't think I started gaining last time until the second trimester and this time have put on just 1lb since early December which I put down to not running

MrsFionaCharming · 19/01/2022 13:51

Hi all!

I had my BFP on Saturday (and then another on Sunday just to be sure).

So far I’ve had intermittent cramping pain and sore breasts, but not nausea.

Every time I have a crap my brain goes “oh, period time”, then I have to remind myself it isn’t. I’m glad to read other people are having them too, very reassuring!

BuchananBabies · 19/01/2022 14:22

Hello all congratulations on your pregnancies ❤

Bfp a few days ago and due 30/09. Have a 10 month old DD. So this was a happy surprise!

Have been worrying myself sick about a chemical so the test have been put down (for now) 😂

annlee3817 · 19/01/2022 14:59

Congrats @MrsFionaCharming and @BuchananBabies

lickerdysplit · 19/01/2022 14:59

@110APiccadilly

Hello, can I join? Am due 12th Sept with my second child - DD will be 22 months then. Feeling very tired and a bit sick, don't think I did anything useful at work at all yesterday!

Does anyone else find they feel sick particularly after a car journey?

Oh lord! Massively nauseous after car journeys - especially if I'm not driving. I read a thing that says if you are prone to motion sickness then your morning sickness can be worse... and I thought, oh, that's definitely me! 😆😩
annlee3817 · 19/01/2022 15:00

My physio reckons he should be able to get me running again towards the end of February, has made my day! He said that even thought I won't have ran since the injury, I'll be fine, just got to keep it slow :)

monkeyjocks · 19/01/2022 15:06

Hi @surprised12 I don't really have any good tips for anxiety unfortunately. What works for me is taking it one day at a time: Today I'm pregnant! And just try to be happy about that.

As for weight gain, I agree that you shouldn't worry about this just yet. At 8 weeks your baby is only a couple of mm, so it doesn't take that much space or weight. If anything I lost weight my first trimester last time as I had hypermesis. Didn't start gaining until the second trimestre and had a perfectly healthy little boy! Smile

Glitterygreen · 19/01/2022 15:15

Hey, hope everyone is doing well.

Just wanted to ask...is anyone else feeling a bit daunted and worried about what it will be like once the baby arrives (touching wood I get to that point)?!

Last couple of days I have been dwelling a bit on how difficult it might be, how it will be hard to go out or to spend time with DP etc. Just basically stressing about the massive changes ahead really.

I am pleased to be pregnant (particularly after an early MC in Nov), but I've always been a worrier who struggles to adapt to change and I'm just feeling like I'm thinking of that side more and more as the days pass Blush.

Just wondered if anyone else finds themselves a bit stressed when thinking ahead?

Billymay · 19/01/2022 15:16

I have really limited symptoms… the cramping has stopped, my boobs ache occasionally and I’ve really gone off my food, I just don’t fancy anything… I keep testing as I was paranoid something was up but im still getting a positive. I have officially missed my period now!!! When did everyone phone the doctors to get the ball rolling and start taking supplements? Xxx

Glitterygreen · 19/01/2022 15:19

I am sooo confused by the exercise guidance. I know it says you can continue doing what you've been doing pre-pregnancy mostly, but what if you're an on/off exerciser so don't have a regular routine?! 😂

Like for me, I might do a few weeks of Couch to 5K, followed by no gym/running at all for the next few weeks, then back to it etc etc. So I'm familiar with it and comfortable doing it but it's not necessarily something I do every day?

Is it more about not falling/doing things that may cause impact, rather than doing things your body is 'used to'?

I would like to try and step up my activity a little bit as I have been slack up to Christmas until now, but I find it so confusing as I don't always necessarily routinely exercise so unsure what I should be doing.
