Evening all. Put in an e-consult to my gp today due to right sided cramping (that I'm pretty sure if either uterus growing or round ligament pain), and 2 episodes of spotting (which I'm pretty sure were piles 😳) but the combination made me twitchy. Only put the (non-urgent) message in at 10 this morning and have already had a GP call and first set of bloods taken. So impressed!

Back again for more on Friday then she'll refer me up for a scan if I'm still getting the pains. Guess I don't need to make the decision about an early scan or not anymore.

Isonthecase · 18/01/2022 19:58

@MSH95 that's good, sure it'll be good to know for sure! They're so small at that stage anyway that a tiny slip can have dates fairly far out. Hope it all goes well 🙂

Hi everyone 👋 tentatively joining the thread. Had 6 positive tests today, I think I am 4w+1 die 26th Sep with my third baby. Congratulations to you all x

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 18/01/2022 20:53

After a lot of cramping and a bit of brown discharge. I now have no symptoms really. 4+3. Trying very hard to keep positive.

madeleine85 · 18/01/2022 20:57

@BlueSky57 I'm not sure about the less symptoms = boy, but I'll know if that equates for me in a few weeks :). My friend is having a girl and had no symptoms at all, with my DD I had HG and all the sickness for months. This feels very different, so I am guessing it is a boy, but either way, i'll be happy as long as it is healthy (and I am glad my head isn't stuck in a toilet bowl right now, even if I can't look at chicken). I totally understand your reasoning re. the internal scan though I think it is very low risk, as somehow it ultrasounds what is in the cervix which by then is closed/should be closed. They should make sure that it is thoroughly sanitised for infection risk etc. I had it with both my pregnancies, and no issues/they didn't warn of any potential issues, so I really think that there aren't any. You will know soon enough though when you go back. Exciting times, let us know how you get on!

I’m back, after my internet cheapy test last week I did a first response today and the pregnant line came back stronger than the control one. So I think I’m certainly in the club for now.

I haven’t had any symptoms apart from a few pulling sensations. With my first DD I did feel sick but only for a couple of days and then that was it for the rest of the pregnancy. So fingers crossed this one goes smoothly.

Think we might book an early scan for around 8 weeks, 12 weeks seems too long away and will be good to know everything is looking well before then.

girafferafferaffe · 18/01/2022 21:49

My dd is a girl and I had no symptoms, same as this one!

I did my combat tonight and enjoyed it. Just didn't do any of the high impact jumping (can't do it anyway because I injured my Achilles previously!). I dreaded it all day but it was actually fine. I do still want to keep active so I just need to talk myself in to it even though I'm tired. I'm def having a day off tomorrow though because I am going to ACHE!

MrsLoz · 18/01/2022 21:54

@girafferafferaffe I’ve been to my fitness class tonight too as normal and then we went for a run afterwards. Hoping to keep up with it as long as possible.

I think DH will be slightly disappointed if we have another girl, he is desperate for a boy to continue the family name …..

Ahh well done! It is SO hard when you feel so tired. But I definitely want to carry it on as long as I can!

madeleine85 · 18/01/2022 22:07

@girafferafferaffe maybe ill try some combat later, you're giving me some inspiration. I did the lesmills online subscription when pregnant 3 years ago, and kept it going but haven't tried combat in a few weeks. We have a peloton treat at home, but i'm finding myself too competitive with the leaderboard/knowing my output and i'm overheating. Urgh. Online combat sounds like a better idea, so thank you! @MrsLoz my husband only wants girls (he is joking I think/hope). Fortunately whether it is a girl or a boy all depends on him not me :)

@Hopingforarainbow27 Not too long to wait now, basically a week! Hopefully it goes by quickly for you! Smile

Littlebun1 · 19/01/2022 06:16

Having a mini panic...all breast tenderness has gone overnight! Even when I squeeze them I feel nothing! Anyone else having the same thing? Does it return? Xx

annlee3817 · 19/01/2022 06:32

@Littlebun1 mine use to come and go in my last pregnancy, would have days of normal, then bam agony again. All was fine

mol2mum · 19/01/2022 07:13

@Littlebun1 me too!! I'm 6+3 weeks today and for the past 3 days now my boobs have been no where near as tender😩 I'm having a little panic
Pinkflamingofly · 19/01/2022 07:29

Hi everyone, can I join? I just found out I'm expecting baby number 4!!! I'm so excited, due at the end of September.

Is anyone getting nights sweats? 3 nights now I'm getting them

Pinkflamingofly · 19/01/2022 07:30

Also, anyone with no symptoms at all? I have zero symptoms, apart from the night sweats. I dont have sore boobs or anything. Anyone else?

girafferafferaffe · 19/01/2022 07:37

@madeleine85 definitely do! I'm desperately trying not to lose the fitness/strength I've built up over the past year. I was very pleased I could keep up with the squats !

@Pinkflamingofly 4! Lovely - what are your age gaps??

Littlebun1 · 19/01/2022 08:01

Thanks @annlee3817 that's reassuring! The tenderness has started to come back now but still not as strong so hoping everything is just fluctuating!!

@mol2mum how long have yours been sore for? Mine have been for the last 2 weeks so maybe our bodies are just getting used to the hormones 🤷🏻‍♀️ thats what I'm trying to tell myself anyway!

I have another scan booked in for next Friday to try and see the heartbeat. It just seems forever away!! X

calipoppy · 19/01/2022 08:03

Such a rough start today! My DD woke at 5am and as soon as I got up I knew I was going to be sick 😞 does anyone have any tips for things to keep by the bed and eat immediately? Normally when I feel sick I can only stomach toast but I can't get it quick enough!

annlee3817 · 19/01/2022 08:10

@calipoppy would belvita breakfast biscuits help?

110APiccadilly · 19/01/2022 08:24

Hello, can I join? Am due 12th Sept with my second child - DD will be 22 months then. Feeling very tired and a bit sick, don't think I did anything useful at work at all yesterday!

Does anyone else find they feel sick particularly after a car journey?

Sassy144 · 19/01/2022 08:24

@Whatelsecouldibecalled I'm in the same situation as you 😔 sending positive thoughts your way ❤️

mol2mum · 19/01/2022 08:33

@Littlebun1 mine have been sore for around 2 weeks as well. Since around the time I was due on, which is normal for me anyway but it has carried on up until about 2 days ago. They felt a bit sore and heavier last night but almost back to normal again the morning☹️ it's such a worrying time isn't it but yes you might be right about getting used to the hormones... let's hope so anyway!!

Ahh I have a scan booked too. Mines this Friday which I know will be super early in the pregnancy but I had to move it forward because I'm stressing myself out so much. If something's wrong, I'd rather know sooner than later x

Billymay · 19/01/2022 08:39

@MrsLoz we have 2 daughters and I know my husband would love a boy but I just think boys aren’t for us although I would love a son. I’m one of each so I was shocked when I found I was having 2 girls but considering I’m not close to my brother Im happy my girls will have each other. Xxx

MrsLoz · 19/01/2022 09:01

@Pinkflamingofly no symptoms here either, only thing I have noticed is my temperature overnight on my Fitbit is above average. Apart from that zero symptoms! I wouldn’t have guessed I was pregnant if it wasn’t for a missed period.
