I could see the other thread only had a few posts left so thought I'd do a new thread before i missed the chance like last time & we lost people 🙈

Thanks @Effram and @AppleTree16 I’m fine 😊. It’s just so easy to misread when it’s just messages and not interaction.

I’m 15 weeks today and feel like I’ve popped! Stomach is round and hard and bump very noticeable now (when I’m not wearing a million layers as it’s freezing!). Is anyone else starting to show?

@AppleTree16 I really thought I was this morning, but then I had some bran flakes for breakfast and realised I'd just been a bit bagged up, haha. I'm 15+5 and checking the mirror every day just to see if there is any slight noticeable difference!!

@AppleTree16 yes! I've been looking at myself in the mirror just now and my bump is undeniably there. I'm 15+3 so not far ahead of you

Yes @AppleTree16 iv felt a slight bump when lieing down but noticed two nights ago that it's really popped up now and its way more noticeable. Can't wait to start feeling movement now.

Anyones bump sometimes feel pressured kinda like a contraction without the pain? Xx

I have a bump and have done for a while. I've taken weekly pics !! I'm 14wks but also worried because I've felt the best I've felt yet in the pregnancy so far! I know this is common but still it does make me worry - I've had regular scans and saw a healthy baby at my 12 wks scan when I was 13+5 so I'm pleased we have booked the scan - just to see bubs if anything!

So we've booked on our gender scan 😍
I'll be 17.5 wks and it was the closest weekend appointment

I'm definitely bigger but I have a high BMI and so had a belly anyway but I've noticed the shape has changed, can't wait for it to look more obviously pregnant and not just like I'm clinging onto extra Christmas pounds.
I've noticed lots of pressure around my belly and groin, mainly when I move and especially if I've been sitting a while then stood up. It goes away if I sit back down but it always seems to catch me off guard.

@AppleTree16 17w1d here & definitely got a bump. Been showing since about 12 weeks but it's been that whole 'am I fat or is there actually a baby in there' 😂😂 But noticed last night I've got a proper bump now, like no denying there's a baby in there 😂

Im at the stage where I can now feel where in my stomach my baby is 🥺 Was lying last night & my stomach was quite 'squint' looking. Left side was flatter & softer, right side was rounder & harder. Can't necessarily feel her move but can definitely find where she's lying by how my stomach feels.

@MrsKirb i just look like I've put on a few pounds over Christmas to! 😂 It's a blessing that I've not "had" to tell many people as I've had a belly a while. But on the flip in some ways I quite like it when its obviously a pregnant belly not just looking chubby!

Whooping cough was offered to me when i booked my 16 week appointment, maybe its different down south?
We order3d our furniture and travel system last week, went for the uppababy also after seeing a youtuber i follow give it good reviews, Im hoping to get a lot of use out of it for our summer baby with lots of little walks so hoping its a worthwhile investment.
We also got a cotbed to try and get time from it (mammas and pappas have great sales on furniture bundles at the moment!)
Looked at Snuz pods but its pretty bulky and Im quite small so we are kind of planning to just go for a moses basket in the room for the first little while and see how long we get before cot bed. As first time parents these are hard decisions to make!
They tried to sell us the big bouncers like mamaroo but I luckily have thought about this already and ideally I want a light bouncer I can take with me from place to place (bathroom for showers im thinking!) so hoping to poach one from a family member!
We still have to redecorate the room and our spare room as baby is going into whats currently an office and the spare room is goinf to be office /storage space, honestly I dont know where the money is gonna come from to do all this!
Its exciting we are all at this stage of planning practicalities 😁 our little babies are propper wee people now xx

I still dont really have a bump also! Bought 2 pairs of maternity jeans from new look last week and into matty uniforms for work.. My hips and waist are just growing 😂 i thinkI'm just gaining weight from a shocking diet at the moment!

@Capricorn8990 I’m so sorry to hear about your Dad, must be really tough for you and your family. Sending you lots of love 💕 how lovely to have your scan on Valentine’s Day and I love that your parents got to pop the balloon to reveal your little girls gender..that will be such a nice memory for the future. Heya all, hope everyone is feeling good!

I got some sad news yesterday that my dad has Alzheimer's in addition to his vascular dementia 😞 I didn't get too upset at first as my mum was crying so was being strong for her, but it's definitely settling in a bit more now..

On a positive note, I called the scan department and my 20 week scan is on Valentine's Day! My 12 week was on Christmas Eve, so feeling very excited about it.

Found out we're having a baby girl with a private scan and got my lovely parents to pop the balloon and caught the moment on video which I will forever cherish.

This sounds really tough. Hope you are able to give yourself time to process things and feel emotional if you need to ❤️ thats so special they popped the balloon and how lovely a baby girl 🥰

@MrsKirb I have about 10 years of Christmas Lbs - I think my shape is definitely changing but no real bump yet. I can't wait for the bump!

@Lianna93 Yes, I find it really awkward when you know people have offered you things out of the goodness of their hearts but you don't want it - I find saying 'no' really hard the best of times. And just this once I want to get what I want/can afford, we're doing the same the travel system lasts until 4, and the cot we're looking at turns into a toddler bed.

@ChinChilly I was thinking did I miss something 🤣🤣 it is so hard to keep up sometimes! I'm with you on the saying 'no' i find it really difficult too

We are going to buy our own pram and travel system and our families are kindly giving us some money towards that, and I’m using my sisters Next2Me crib which is very handy! I think I would only really want second hand items from people I know so I know the full history of it, but that might just be me being a bit of a worrier!

I’ve been really struggling to take my Pregnacare Plus vitamins the last couple of weeks to the point now where I’m just gagging and choking when I try to take them so today I’ve admitted defeat and have bought some Bassetts pregnancy vitamins..has anyone used these?

@Coco9910 thank you hun. It's a really rubbish situation but he has lots of support from us and I've got a good support system too. Yep I am really looking forward to our scan! Yep I'm so glad I got that on camera too! Really appreciate your lovely message 💕 x

Very envious of all these lovely bumps! I'm 15+0 and have 'thickened' around the middle slightly, but absolutely no-one would think I was pregnant. Hopefully it'll become more obvious soon!

Anyone else really struggling with eating healthily? I am normally a very healthy eater, but still have fairly bad morning sickness (vomiting a good few times a week, and low-level nauseous most of the time). I just feel nauseous if I eat anything that isn't crisps or toast . I feel bad for my baby having me eating such rubbish all the time!

@JJ1992 it is but going to be strong for the family! I have 2 days off now so gonna take some time for myself. It really is so glad we captured it. I had a feeling it was a girl! Mothers instinct haha xx

@DrPrincessFluffyToYou 17w myself & also still struggling with nausea & sickness, however nowhere near as bad now I've been prescribed antisickness tablets. If I forget to take one though, it absolutely hits me 😬 only got 8 left and only got them a week ago, so will need to contact my doctor for more 😬😂

@Lianna93 sorry you're struggling too! Are you taking cyclizine? I feel like a fraud complaining about it, because I'm sure it's nowhere near as bad as those who've had HG - it's just unrelenting and I was expecting to feel better from 12 weeks!
