No worries ladies, hope you both find it comfortable! I've been waking up in the night and my husband is hugging mine from the other side so he likes it too Grin

DayToNight · 13/01/2022 18:07

Anyone else have a low PAPP and going on aspirin?

WotsitMum · 13/01/2022 19:36

@DayToNight im on asprin due to my first babys birth weight beeing small with no explanation. The midwife said it thinnens the blood which makes the blood flow from the placenta to the baby easier/better. Just be carefull of cutting yourself as you will bleed alot more and if you go for a blood test mention it to the person doing the blood test so they are aware

ChinChilly · 13/01/2022 19:52

@Firsttimemum38 so sorry 😞

@DayToNight I had a look on my badger notes app and it says PAPP not recorded MoM.. not sure what that even means. How did you find out? Did they call you? I think quite alot of people take asprin through pregnancy to increase blood flow to the placenta

DayToNight · 13/01/2022 21:12

@ChinChilly @WotsitMum thanks both - very reassuring. I didn't have issues during pregnancy with DC1. I was a little worried.

DayToNight · 13/01/2022 21:13

@ChinChilly the midwife called me to let me know. Going to ask for more information at my next appointment.

It was part of the blood tests at the 12 week scan. They don't test again so it's aspirin for the rest of the pregnancy and 2 extra scans.

ChinChilly · 13/01/2022 21:19

@DayToNight ahh oki doki, the app is rubbish there is never anything on there but I'll ask her next time i see her. With the asprin I almost started taking it off my own back with this pregnancy because of my history with miscarriages, I'm fairly certain its one of those things that can't cause any harm. Its nice to have a few extra scans!

SamanthaVimes · 13/01/2022 21:24

@everythingsnew I had that Asda pillow in my last pregnancy, it’s brilliant!

missv556 · 14/01/2022 07:31

@WotsitMum they struggled to draw blood from me at my 12 week scan last week, I'm on aspirin too so is that the reason why?

WotsitMum · 14/01/2022 09:03

@missv556 asprin thinns the blood so should make it easier?

missv556 · 14/01/2022 09:38

Oh I don't know why that happened then lol

DrPrincessFluffyToYou · 14/01/2022 10:56

@missv556 it won’t have been the aspirin. If you have tricky veins, make sure you’re nice and warm + have drink plenty of isotonic fluids beforehand (ie not plain water) Smile

namechangeanonymous · 14/01/2022 12:55

This might sound really strange as I am only 14 weeks, but I was touching my bump earlier and it felt different my friend described it as butterfly's I can't feel it inside yet but I could feel it to touch. I did read that at 14 weeks baby does start to kick though you can't feel it yet. Has anybody else had this?

Lianna93 · 14/01/2022 15:19

@namechangeanonymous
I've been convinced I've been feeling something and the only way I can describe the feeling is if a fish goes to break the surface of the water but it doesn't break... if that makes sense?
And I've had a few 'fluttery' feelings also. I'm nearly 16 weeks & have felt this from the start of 15weeks.

namechangeanonymous · 14/01/2022 16:09

It does make sense @Lianna93 how lovely 😍 think I'm just really desperate for that lovely moment when baby is like oh Hi kick kick!

Lianna93 · 14/01/2022 17:59

@namechangeanonymous I genuinely didn't expect to feel anything so early but I was lying in bed to settle for a nap, had my hands resting on my stomach & that's when I felt the movement.
Told DH, he came running up to feel but couldn't feel anything 😩 Obviously not strong enough movements yet but looking forward to him being able to experience it too! 🥰

sle0911 · 14/01/2022 18:14

Can anyone send over the link to the Facebook group? The ones posted a little while back don't work for me 😭

namechangeanonymous · 14/01/2022 18:21

Me neither @sle0911 think it's expired unfortunately.
@lianna93 i think once my DH can feel too it will help him bond he's a bit worried to touch the bump at the moment.

Coco9910 · 14/01/2022 19:19

There’s two..the one posted on here I think @Chh0412 will need to share the link?

There’s a Facebook group also for due dates ranging from June - August I think..the link for that is fb.me/g/n90GVkFgN/hXXB6aqK

namechangeanonymous · 14/01/2022 19:36

Hi coco9910 it doesn't seem to be working for me... unless my request still went through. My name starts in L and is four letters for my username.

JJ1992 · 14/01/2022 20:42

It tells me its not working
