@Prema112 @Lostintranslatio glad its not just me. A quick google told me it was an STI 😅 actually to be fair everything I google says I have an STI. I swear google will make any fit and healthy person believe they are dying.

Lostintranslatio · 15/01/2022 19:22

@CurryandSnuggle ohhh! I just saw your lovely scan 😍

How many girls and how many boys are we carrying in the thread? I'm also having a little girl!

Imhereforthecake · 15/01/2022 19:50

@Lostintranslatio

MrsNT · 15/01/2022 19:59

@Clomid1 I have not felt anything yet and I'm 19 weeks today. I believe its normal at this stage and not worried too much, just really looking forward to it happening x

Lostintranslatio · 15/01/2022 20:05

@Imhereforthecake congrats on that lil boy 😍

MrsNT · 15/01/2022 21:10

@clomid1 its very easy to miss movements this early on. In my last midwife appt ..she used the doppler and said baby is moving around and i couldnt feel anything at all. So its ok.

Also peeing very slowly here ladies, I'm so glad there's a community of us Grin. I also constantly need to go, but barely anything comes out even though I think I'm bursting. We found out the sex today - little girl here and now feeling very real!!

CurryandSnuggle · 15/01/2022 22:51

I’m peeing very slowly too. And sorry for TMI but my wee stream has gone capput.. it’s literally all over the place so I end up with a wet arse and everything. Grim!!! But I feel this is a safe place to share my plight haha. What’s going on 😂 do you think it’s our bladder being squashed?

I'm amazed so many in the chat are finding out. Is there anyone else who isn't finding out at the scan and waiting to see at the birth?

Rolledthedice · 16/01/2022 00:58

I can’t stop eating. Always hungry and always weeing... am I the parent or the baby here?!

fiowen45 · 16/01/2022 03:03

Insomnia again tonight 😩 constantly wake up around the 2-3am and then wide awake . Morning sickness has been replaced with random projectile vomit usually around dinner time 😭 but my bump is coming along nicely considering I’m only 17+3 I swear I look bigger. Does any find they are really hungry but then can’t even finish a meal ?

Clomid1 · 16/01/2022 05:49

@fiowen45 I’ve been up since 2.30am when I got up to pee

@MrsNT @Clueless22 so glad I am not the only one not feeling movements.

Honestly with hardly any symptoms I find myself wondering everyday if this is real.

I’m waiting until 36 weeks before getting any baby essentials (crazy I know)

Anomaly scan in 2 weeks so nervous!

JAR1981 · 16/01/2022 08:42

@unknownscot we aren’t finding out. After IVF we felt it was nice to have something left as a surprise. In fact I only realised yesterday yesterday that they didn’t ask if we did/didn’t want to know at the 20-week scan. Weird.

It's so bizarre isn't it! It feels like half my bladder is closed for business at the moment. Maybe it's the pressure from the uterus expanding and the baby getting bigger...it's all fun and games!!

@Clomid1 I'm also not feeling any movements yet and glad others are the same. Saw her yesterday and she is definitely moving around in there. I have a posterior placenta so really hoping to feel something soon!

destiEos · 16/01/2022 09:51

@Rolledthedice you are not alone, I've eaten everything 😬 and am convinced I'm way bigger than I ought to be at 20 weeks...I don't really have a bump either, just a fat belly. Ah, the joys of pregnancy, eh? 😂

Lostintranslatio · 16/01/2022 10:11

I'm only 1.5kg above my prepregnancy weight, and I can notice a little bump but probably everybody else would think I've just eaten a bit too much over Christmas 😂😂 What I've noticed too is that I can't tuck my tummy in anymore, the little bump stays there 😍

PeeAche · 16/01/2022 10:29

@Lostintranslatio I have LOST 2kg from my pre pregnancy weight and I have a definite bump! It's more "I've been at the biscuit tin" than "I'm growing a baby" but I force the point by walking around cradling it and looking peaceful.

I liken myself to a stain glass window of the Virgin Mary.

I'm off to McDonald's. Anyone want anything?

PeeAche · 16/01/2022 10:34

My above post is a typo. I've actually lost almost 20kg. That's around 3 stone for any of you old school imperialists.

This is what we with hyperemesis call "silver linings" 😁

Littlemilomoo · 16/01/2022 11:20

@unknownscot we don’t want to know gender and are waiting until we meet them 🥰 We said there are not many nice surprises that you get in life and our little boy or girl will be a lovley supprise for the whole family ❤️

Olive60 · 16/01/2022 11:21

Was just looking at old pictures of my DD 10 years ago when she was a baby! One thing I will be repurchasing is this baby beanbag! It was a godsend for her. I bought my sister one for my niece and nephew too!

Matilda30 · 16/01/2022 11:32

@JAR1981 I liked the look of the iCandy peach - we had an iCandy strawberry 2 with DS (now 6) and it was great and lasted a long time - but we gave it away when we thought he might remain an only child! Was pricey though.

I would love the iCandy peach or an uppababy vista if budget wasn't an issue but we've been looking at a micralite as a bit cheaper. Only thing is I'd like to view it in store but not sure if you can.

destiEos · 16/01/2022 11:34

@Olive60 that looks like a great alternative to the dockatot. Saving it in my quest huge list of baby things to buy..

@PeeAche 20kg! 😮 You must be teeeeeny! Also cradling belly and trying to look peaceful when I'm out so that people don't get too close and also are nicer to me 😬 (seems to be working). Would love a Maccy D's, heading to the supermarket to get the ingredients for a roast, having a mate over for lunch.. Will try and look weak on my return so DH takes over 😉

Imhereforthecake · 16/01/2022 11:39

@PeeAche

Totally off topic question. Your username, I always say it in my head as 'peachy' but is it 'pee ache' ?

Clearly I have too much thinking time 😂
