Does anyones nhs trust let you pay for a private room. I have two hospitals near me differents trusts and have just found out that the one I didn’t go for you can get a private room if you pay. Tempted to switch 😁

Definitely don't think you can do this in Scotland @Clomid1. If you could and I've been 4 times with HG and had to share a ward with new borns I'll be raging 😂😂😂

I'm in maternity triage as I rung them about my vaginal/pelvic pressure and they said come straight in. Hate being here but just hoping for a normal cervix exam

Thanks so much ladies. All seems ok thankfully, cervix looked ok and baby was sitting on it so could have contributed to pressure. She said some women just get this sensation and they don't really know why... it's a relief to hear things look ok. I'm really impressed with my hospital too, now I'm past 18 weeks they said just come on anytime Im worried and they will check baby, no referral or appointment needed 👍🏼

Omg ladies the heartburn has well and truly started 😫😫😫 Currently trying to sleep sitting up cuddling a bottle of gaviscon 😅

@prema112 That's great that they saw you so quickly. Good news.

@pregnancydiaries I woke up to raging heartburn a couple of nights ago, had a swig of gaviscon, woke up a short time later still propped up, open bottle of gaviscon in one hand cap in the other 😂 how I didn't spill it everywhere I'll never know 😂 (I have a feeling there'll be many more stories like this once baby is born!)

@hellointhere I'm with the home birth team for my hospital, but still not sure either way. It's lovely that there's a small selection of midwives, and they come to my house for the appointments. I'm scared of covid locking hospitals down again, and my labour with my son was 50 hours, I'd have struggled without my husband by my side for most of it. However, I was also rushed to theatre and needed a lot of intervention, so equally want to be close to that just in case. Debating going for a midwife led unit to get a good ground, however I don't even know if I'll be allowed after my last birth so need to talk to the midwife at my next appointment.

Really strange, talking about reuseable nappies and a lady on my local free fb site offered up hers, so now I have 50 nappies and 36 wipes, which should just about see me through. I'm 😱 at her generosity giving them away.

I'm planning on working up to due date this time. I did last time so hoping I'll also manage without any issues this time 🤞🏻

Here to moan about headaches!! Second trimester headaches anyone ?? I'm getting one daily these days...17+3 today!

@MrsTwentyNine I'm headache prone and thought there were getting super severe as I entered my 15th week, only to discover it was an early symptom of Covid!
It's rough isn't it as paracetamol alone doesn't hit the spot, I need Ibuprofen too, which obv we can have. Hope they settle. Plenty of water x

@beansprout55 thank you! Oh no sorry to hear you had Covid :( Hope you're all better now! My LFTs have been negative. I asked my MW and she said headaches are common in this trimester

Just over 18 weeks - the baby now moves to bass music! Turn your bass up everyone! 😂

@PurpleMoon12 I'll try anything but sadly couldn't get the baby moving. Tried a bit of garage too but nothing. I'm 18 weeks today and can't wait to see some moves x

Mine has gone from nothing to dancing around like crazy in the space of 4 days, keeps making me jump!

@rathernotshare were you getting the fluttering / bubbles beforehand that people speak about x
