Hello everyone!

I have just had my BFP this morning, and based on dates I am due on the 1st September! I’m only just late on my period so hopefully there will be a few more of us over the next few weeks. Last pregnancy my date was pushed back a few days and DS ended up being a full 12 days late after that so I’m not too wedded to the 1st September!

Oh gawd I've been taking multivitamins. Off to get pregnancy tablets then!

surprised12 · 01/01/2022 16:59

@2mumlife

Hi everyone..very tentatively joining this thread. Tested positive yesterday 10 days post 5 day frozen embryo transfer. Our last transfer ended in a chemical pregnancy in June so feeling very nervous as it's been a very long journey to get here and I don't want to count chickens before they hatch and all that.. however I'm feeling symptoms this time around (headaches, nauseous, lower back pain, sore nipples) this time so hoping this one's sticking for real. This would be baby #1 for us
Huge congratulations- that's great news! Symptoms are a good sign - wishing you lots of luck x

I'm taking the pregnacare ones - they seem to have everything in them!
girafferafferaffe · 01/01/2022 17:17

I hope I've not done any damage :(

surprised12 · 01/01/2022 17:30

@girafferafferaffe

I hope I've not done any damage :(
I'm sure you haven't - lots of people don't even find out they are pregnant this early so I'm sure there won't be any harm x
girafferafferaffe · 01/01/2022 17:31

Very true. I've ordered some pregnancy vitamins and I'll just have folic acid for now

vixxx666 · 01/01/2022 17:32

@annlee3817

Can I ask what pregnancy vitamins you're all taking? Pregnacare made me feel so sick last time, they just don't suit me. At the moment I'm just taking folic acid with vitamin D, bit being on a veggie diet am worried it's not enough
I'm just finishing my Seven Seas Trying for a Baby vitamins. Pregnancare also made me feel sick in my previous pregnancies. I'm going to move on to the Seven Seas Pregnancy Vitamins in a few days.
2mumlife · 01/01/2022 17:47

@surprised12 Thank you! Congratulations to you too.

Forgot to say according to IVF due date calculator I'm 4+2 and would be due 8th Sept.

Vitamins wise I've been on pregnacare for forever. Already cut out alcohol, caffeine etc due to fertility treatment, so no worries there for us! Just need to cut out worry. Fertility clinic is closed over Christmas but we'll be getting a viability scan around 6-7 weeks done by the clinic so hoping everything keeps.moving in the right direction and checks out ok then.

Hello Ladies, I'm wondering if I can join please? I just got my BFP today however I had 3 MCs in 2021 so to say I'm nervous is an understatement! I'm on progesterone pessaries from my Dr so hoping they can keep this little pea in there. Would be great to have some ladies to chat with if thats ok? Thanks!

Sleepy86 · 01/01/2022 17:54

I’ve been using the boots strips, they don’t seem to have got any darker for me. I was worrying a little, but I’d also used another brand a day or two ago, so took another one of those tests and it’s definitely darker, so maybe the boots strips just aren’t the best?

GivenchyDahhling · 01/01/2022 18:16

@2mumlife Congratulations and huge fingers crossed but symptoms definitely a great sign!

Anyone else inexplicably weepy? Got all emotional at the end of Hook yesterday, although that’s slightly more reasonable than just now when I teared up at the In The Night Garden theme 😂

@Tinypeanut1224 Nerves totally understandable! Lots of positive thoughts for you though x

@GivenchyDahhling yes I am an emotional wreck just now. Crying a lot. I’m not sure I remember this last time. I remember feeling weepy when my milk came in.

@Sleepy86 think you’ve hit the nail on the head. I had 2 different types of test. Was a bit concerned as had a bit of a lighter line this morning but it’s a different test. Take home message for me is to stop bloody testing. Can’t help myself.

monkeyjocks · 01/01/2022 19:27

Hi ladies! Can I join? Got my bfp this morning and I belive I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow with a Sep 11th due date (not the best due date to have but oh well..) 😂

It's my second pregnancy and my son is 21 months old. DH and I are very excited but also very anxious about what life with 2 under 3 is going to look like.

Chasingrainbows1518 · 01/01/2022 19:28

@GivenchyDahhling yes 100% can relate! I’ve been very weepy this week lol at the most ridiculous things! I can’t remember being like this last time so it’s a new one for me!!

Chasingrainbows1518 · 01/01/2022 19:29

@monkeyjocks congratulations!! My little boy turned 3 the week before I had my daughter and I have found it to be a wonderful age gap. He is now 6 and daughter is 3, they have such a special bond!!

monkeyjocks · 01/01/2022 19:38

Thanks @Chasingrainbows1518! That's so lovely to hear. Me and my sisters are 2 each apart, so when my youngest sister was born I was 4 and the other 2. We were always very close. So I hope they have that as well! Smile

notmyusualchoice · 01/01/2022 19:47

Hi everyone, congratulations on your BFPs!! I got mine this morning at 14dpo (I think I’m 4+2 weeks?). It’s our first baby and I’m a bit worried after reading other people’s experiences of CPs and MCs. Keeping my fingers crossed for us all 🤞🏻Due date estimated to be 8th September 😊 I’m also a teacher so it would be great if it works out for me!

Tinypeanut1224 · 01/01/2022 20:00

@GivenchyDahhling - Thanks so much love, yeah it's been a stressful year, I was so glad to see the back of 2021 but hoping that we have a bright and cheerful 2022.

@monkeyjocks - awww we're the same. Finding out on NYD is lovely isn't it? I'm 11DPO and my test was very faint but is definitely there!
I have a little boy too who is 18 months so will be 2 and a bit when the baby is born (as long as everything goes ok) ☺️

lickerdysplit · 01/01/2022 20:02

@notmyusualchoice Congratulations ❤️ This is my first baby too - and I'm also a teacher! It's the mat leave jackpot x

Haha, I’ve had this planned for years! Before I even met my husband Grin

girafferafferaffe · 01/01/2022 21:16

@notmyusualchoice @lickerdysplit I'm not a teacher but I work in a school so I'm with you there! 8th sept too :)

How exciting! I know they will change, but it’s really nice having people with the same due date!

In honesty, I’d prefer my due date to be a little later - I’d like to go back to school for the first week as we are in an 11+ county and I’m the one who usually does them with our head teacher. No one else has a clue how 😆 also, I’d quite like to be paid for the summer holidays and I’ve heard from some sources that some schools/counties don’t let you start may leave at the beginning of September... I hope that’s not true!!!

madeleine85 · 01/01/2022 21:24

@arianasky welcome to the pregnancy boards! So nice to see you over here too :)

@Tor88 I really freaked myself out by taking FRERs etc and seeing varying results. Not sure if you used any ovulation apps, but since I got back i've been using the premom app and have been putting my cheap strip HCG tests in like ovulation strips and seeing the results going up every other day (attaching a picture of what it shows on the app). That saved my sanity a bit, but the main thing that helped was getting the doctor to run blood tests, as the pee tests are massively variable based on water intake, timing etc. Hope you are doing better x

@2mumlife and @Tinypeanut1224 fingers crossded for you and a sticky bean x

@girafferafferaffe I didn't know I was pregnant until 5-6 weeks last time and wasn't taking any vitamins, so you are all ok in my opinion at this point. Just pick up a few pregnancy ones now and you will be great.
