Hello everyone!

I have just had my BFP this morning, and based on dates I am due on the 1st September! I’m only just late on my period so hopefully there will be a few more of us over the next few weeks. Last pregnancy my date was pushed back a few days and DS ended up being a full 12 days late after that so I’m not too wedded to the 1st September!

Morning all, happy new year! I've been testing positive since Tuesday and got my BFP on a digital this morning so I'll tentatively join if that's ok? I had a MMC end of September and D and C in October and in November found out it was a partial molar pregnancy where two sperm fertilise the egg rather than one. There's only a 1% chance that would happen again but I'm still very nervous about a MC or MMC again. Anyway back to the positive side of things I will be surprising DP tonight when he gets in from work and I'm so excited after keeping it to myself for 5 days 😂

@arianasky congratulations! ❤️❤️

Congrats @arianasky 🥰

annlee3817 · 01/01/2022 09:55

Can I ask what pregnancy vitamins you're all taking? Pregnacare made me feel so sick last time, they just don't suit me. At the moment I'm just taking folic acid with vitamin D, bit being on a veggie diet am worried it's not enough

arianasky · 01/01/2022 10:04

@lickerdysplit @annlee3817 thank you! Gosh my punctuation was awful on that post, sorry.

arianasky · 01/01/2022 10:15

Also meant to say if everything goes ok my EDD is 14th September, I believe I'm 3+3 today so very early but would rather join this thread now to keep up with you all and get and give advice.

Chasingrainbows1518 · 01/01/2022 10:45

@arianasky congratulations on your BFP!

arianasky · 01/01/2022 11:15

Thank you @Chasingrainbows1518

spierse · 01/01/2022 11:25

@arianasky congratulations, Ive had two MMCs and 2 losses at 8 weeks, I have been diagnosed with APS so on treatment now, i know how anxious a time this is after loss so sending you hugs, and try to stay positive and not worry too much ❤

suzieruns · 01/01/2022 11:40

@buttercuplizzy Yes I took them as soon as I found our I was pregnant last time and it was my second pregnancy. It definitely was not as bad as the first time around. But I think I will try your approach and also get some of those supplements. I remember last time HG hitting me one morning, so I am on the same sort of weird countdown. Even with food planning this month, I am like well, I don't need to worry about me, as I won't be able to eat that! But hopefully we both escape it this time.

arianasky · 01/01/2022 11:48

@spierse I'm so sorry 😞 it's horrible isn't it but I'm trying to think positive and if I take my vitamins, get some light exercise and eat healthy hopefully I'll be ok, I know that's not why but it's helping me mentally for now.

Sleepy86 · 01/01/2022 12:40

I took pregnancies last time, but I’m just taking folic acid and vitamin d so far this time. I’d be interested to find out if I should be taking anything else too

Sleepy86 · 01/01/2022 12:41

Pregnacare not pregnancies

Congratulations!! That's my birthday! Wishing you lots of good luck this time round x
arianasky · 01/01/2022 13:42

@surprised12 ahh that's lovely, thank you so much i've got everything crossed 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Tor88 · 01/01/2022 13:58

Hi all, I've just done a follow up test on a cheapie boots stick and my line is fainter than it was when I did my first test two days ago. Worrying as it could mean HCG levels are dropping. But I'm wondering if it could be something more innocent like I've just drunk more liquids today?? Has anyone had this before?? I know the line is supposed to get stronger not weaker 😬

girafferafferaffe · 01/01/2022 14:23

I'm just taking a multivitamin and folic acid. I took all the expensive ones last time but this time figured I'd just go with the basics

MrsFLongbottom · 01/01/2022 14:29

@annlee3817 I'm dairy free vegetarian- last time I took pregnacare and have just started again bit my midwife for my first pregnancy said it was fine diet wise to still just be taking the vit d and folic acid one, but not to take general multi vitamins as you might get too much vit a.
If you're worried sure you can ask the community midwife team when you call to tell them you're pregnant (to arrange booking in appointment) xx

annlee3817 · 01/01/2022 14:36

Thanks @MrsFLongbottom good to know

@tor88 did you take it with FMU?

Tor88 · 01/01/2022 15:00

@annlee3817 just an at home boots strip. The line is deffo there it's just a little weaker than the line was 2 days ago. Really hoping it's coz I've had more liquid today or something, as I know it's supposed to go the other way round

Chasingrainbows1518 · 01/01/2022 15:20

@Tor88 I’m sure it will be nothing to worry about, if you didn’t use your first morning urine it’s probably just because it’s more diluted as you say. I would try again in a day or two with first morning urine just for peace of mind x

Tor88 · 01/01/2022 15:40

@Chasingrainbows1518 yeah I'm sure you're right 🙏 thanks ☺️

2mumlife · 01/01/2022 16:19

Hi everyone..very tentatively joining this thread. Tested positive yesterday 10 days post 5 day frozen embryo transfer. Our last transfer ended in a chemical pregnancy in June so feeling very nervous as it's been a very long journey to get here and I don't want to count chickens before they hatch and all that.. however I'm feeling symptoms this time around (headaches, nauseous, lower back pain, sore nipples) this time so hoping this one's sticking for real. This would be baby #1 for us

Blythwind · 01/01/2022 16:51

Congratulations to all.

How are you all feeling? I'm so nauseous and really struggling with trapped wind/stomach pain (but it feels like it's right at the front in my ovaries??!!)

buttercuplizzy · 01/01/2022 16:54

I'm taking separate as opposed to multi vitamins.

Off the top of my head, i'm taking: Iron with vit C, Magnesium with Zinc, Vit D, Vit B12, Vit B6, Ginger, Folic Acid, Tumeric. All from Holland and Barret
