Hello everyone!

I have just had my BFP this morning, and based on dates I am due on the 1st September! I’m only just late on my period so hopefully there will be a few more of us over the next few weeks. Last pregnancy my date was pushed back a few days and DS ended up being a full 12 days late after that so I’m not too wedded to the 1st September!
@Belle2210 My condolences- I had them after my last C-section and they stung like Hell! Hubby had to do them all as I couldn't.
Since I was last under maternity care they've brought in new guidelines which mean I'll be advised to have them for months whilst I'm pregnant- I'm really really not keen!
Oh no! Do you mind me asking what you'll be advised to have them for? If no that's fine 💕. They're horrible things. Thinking too that if I do end up on them throughout.... Won't be able to pinch my tummy when bump arrives and although thighs are decent chunks I struggle to pinch them properly 😂.

spierse · 09/01/2022 20:18

@Belle2210 i was on fragmin last time but was allergic (started getting hives at the injection sites) I am on Clexane now which seems to be going ok, i have APS so im not sure how long I will have to be on them know that its at least for the first 3 months. It's hard injecting every day but will be worth it if it means I finally get to have a successful pregnancy 🙏

WestYorksMama · 09/01/2022 20:19

I’ve booked an early scan for the 25th Jan when I should be around 8 weeks from my LMP… so so nervous I just want to get to the landmarks :( x x x

Exactly 💞 anything needed we do. Wish you all the best that you have a great pregnancy.

Hi everyone Smile I got a BFP today so although it’s early days, I think all being well I could be due in September? Could I please join this thread? Flowers

Me & DH are both 31. I only came off the pill in November (to start trying this month) but AF pattern came back immediately. My last AF started on December 8th & I don’t really know when I ovulated. This should mean I would be due in September right? Confused

TotoAnnihiliation · 09/01/2022 20:53

Welcome @BlueSky57, yes I reckon you would be around 12th September as your dates are a week behind mine. Google nhs due date, you can input your info there and it will give you a estimated date. You will get your confirmed estimated due date at your 12 week scan.

petitlapin1 · 09/01/2022 20:54

@Belle2210 Age and weight unfortunately. Having re-read the guidelines I might only need it in the third trimester, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there! Even a week seems a lifetime away at the minute, let alone trimester 3! 😔

SkaterChick · 09/01/2022 20:55

Hey everyone, tentatively joining...i got a bfp on Friday and I think I will be 4 weeks tomorrow.
I MC last year at 6 weeks so I'm very nervous!
As my MC was suspected eptopic I was under the care of the epu, they told me to let them know as soon as I'm preg again and they'll bring me in for early scans and monitor me. They probably won't scan me for another few weeks though so it'll be a very anxious wait!

No symptoms yet really, slightly sore nipples and I've gone off coffee. Last time I was very sick from about 4 weeks 3/4 days so we'll see how this week goes!
I'm also pretty crampy, I was last time as well. I'm trying to tell myself this is normal and nothing to panic over!

Hopefully you won't need the treatment for too many months 🤞. Yip life has never been so slow.

Congratulations! Im glad you'll get some early care as it must be worrying 💕. Hope everything goes great for you. I've been pretty crampy too but read its fairly normal 🤞.

Thanks @TotoAnnihiliation Grin I did what you recommended and the NHS website said September 14th! I think this would be about right definitively as my clearblue said 1-2 weeks pregnant today.

Just wondering everyone, Is it normal to not have any pregnancy symptoms at this point? I had a sore back around the time I guess I ovulated and a couple of headaches but absolutely nothing now so was shocked at the BFP this morning.

PoppyN1 · 09/01/2022 21:27

I had a scan at 6 weeks with my first (via NHS for some spotting) then a private one at 9 weeks! So I’m quite keen for an early scan again. Thinking of aiming 7ish weeks so around the start of February!

I'm due a day before on Sept 13th 😊. I've had symptoms (crampy, waves of nausea and bigger/slightly sore boobs) but I know alot of people don't have anything until atleast 6 weeks if at all so don't worry 💕.
TotoAnnihiliation · 09/01/2022 22:11

@SkaterChick I recognise your name from the other thread. I had a MMC with my first pregnancy and was a wreck with my pregnancy with DD. This is my third pregnancy and fingers crossed for a healthy one. I am like you, anxious about symptoms.

At this stage it varies from person to person from pregnancy to pregnancy. I've got tingly boobs that comes and goes, an aversion to tea, and waves of light headedness.

I am so thirsty, I swear I've drank more water than the average camel today.

Fabulous news! You are in front of me!

Ahhh that's awesome!! Bet it's such an amazing feeling when you see it's little heart beat for the first time! 🥰 I've got 3 week until my first scan yet, gona book it for the 8 week mark.
If you don't mind me asking, did they do transabdominal or transvaginal ultrasound?
I'm really not keen on having them poke anything 'up there' so I'd have to veto it 😅😂
Ahh honestly I can't describe it - it's an amazing feeling. My husband has zero emotions usually and even he nearly cried!!

I couldn't recommend the company we went with enough - they went out of the way to make me feel as relaxed as possible.

It was a normal ultrasound- on my stomach. They said before they started that they'd do that first, then if they couldn't find anything would revert to internal scan.
But they found my little bean immediately!!

Tor88 · 09/01/2022 23:03

@surprised12 wow that sounds amazing 💕 what is the company called?

Weddingaug2019 · 09/01/2022 23:35

I hope I’m ok to join please..
I am ( all being well🙏🤞) due 15 Sept or roughly thereabouts according to the calculator.. this is my second pregnancy. I have a 22 month old DD.
I also have Covid, though coming out of it now thankfully. I have had vertigo since Xmas and I thought it was due to the Covid. Didn’t think to do a test because for various reasons I just didn’t think I would be pregnant! But I got my BFBeautifulP two days ago! Yay! Other symptoms are very sore breast and eating all the food. 😂
Good luck everyone, i really hope we all have happy healthy journeys ahead ❤️

annlee3817 · 10/01/2022 03:37

Congrats to all of you who have joined the thread.

Anyone else feeling the exhaustion, but struggling to sleep? I think the dinner I ate has cause trapped wind, so making it worse, but I've been constantly waking up this week anyway 🙄

Sassy144 · 10/01/2022 06:05

Hi all, may I join please? I got a faint bfp on Saturday and just got positive on a digital this morning so that's put my mind at ease a little! Natural Cycles has my due date as 22 September, NHS says 19th, so somewhere around then!

I'm only 3+4 but I've had mild cramps on and off, backache, bloating, a bit gassy. So lovely for everyone here to support one another through this exciting time!

Due September 2022
Sassy144 · 10/01/2022 06:13

@annlee3817 yes I'm feeling really tired but struggling to sleep, waking in the night and staying up - but I'm putting that down to excitement/anxiety for me, just can't switch my brain off thinking about it all!

BlueSky57 · 10/01/2022 07:32

It’s so exciting to see other people possibly due around the same time as I would be! I am glad the fact I don’t really have any symptoms at this point is normal.

I am wondering if you work, when are you planning on telling your boss? I am a teacher & really nervous I’ll get morning sickness in school or something. I have still only told DH as I think it’s very very early days?

It was ultrasound direct!

annlee3817 · 10/01/2022 08:34

@surprised12 that's who I've booked the NIPT test with :)

I'm a teacher too. I'm currently signed off with stress. I'm going to tell them when I go back, as I will be pointing out they need to reduce my stress as this bambino comes first. I would rather they know, so it doesn't come as a big surprise to them if I need to go to a medical appointment - you know how hard that is in school hours.
