Hello everyone!

I have just had my BFP this morning, and based on dates I am due on the 1st September! I’m only just late on my period so hopefully there will be a few more of us over the next few weeks. Last pregnancy my date was pushed back a few days and DS ended up being a full 12 days late after that so I’m not too wedded to the 1st September!

@rose8493x @Tinypeanut1224 I've been looking to the CB digitals as there is lots of chat online about them causing anxiety.

The weeks is a hypothetical 'Weeks since conception'. Each week needs a different hcg threshold on your pee which is:

Urinary hCG threshold (mIU/ml)
1–2 weeks - 10
2–3 weeks - 153
3+ weeks - 2753

So really the response that you get wont be perfect, as when you ovulated will change your weeks since conception (any two people who are e.g. 5+1 will could have actually conceived at very differrent times depending on when they actually ovulated for instance) and it also depends on how much hcg you have in your pee (which might be more of less diluted) and since hcg varies so widely (check out the betabase) people hit that 3+ mark at quite different times.

The gist? I'd try not to worry (says a fellow worrier!!)

salimali28 · 05/01/2022 18:29

Has anyone experienced having a better result than expected with CB digital? I did a test this evening so not even fmu and got a reading of 3+ weeks but I'm only 4+4. I did one on Saturday and it said 1-2 so I seem to have completely skipped 2-3! It's from one extreme to another, I was previously worried about a lack of line progression 🤦🏼‍♀️ now I'm panicking that it could be twins 🤣

salimali28 · 05/01/2022 19:46

@rose8493x in the midst of my googling, I've found a really common theme of women saying they're stuck on 2-3 for far longer than expected, many of them over 6 weeks along so as easy as it is to say, I really wouldn't worry as it seems that the weeks indicator really isn't very accurate.

madeleine85 · 05/01/2022 20:13

I was panicking this morning about not feeling sick, POAS again, more positive, and now I feel sick and lethargic. Currently searching for chicken katsu curry delivery near me. I think i've hit week 5-6 lol. Hope you are all feeling good and are getting excited to be progressing on your journeys x

Tor88 · 05/01/2022 21:00

4+5 and think I've been experiencing my first nausea today 🙌🙌 whoop whoop (lol). Seems early, but have deffo been feeling queasy.

I'm also just not sleeping super well atm. I doubt it's pregnancy related though perhaps pregnancy anxiety related? I'm usually a good sleeper but it's always the first thing to go if I'm going through a period of stress. It's not like I'm waking up panicking or anything, I feel fairly zen, just waking up a lot...

HopefulMummy44 · 05/01/2022 22:10

@Tor88

Hi everyone, congratulations on your BFPs, I've just had mine 💗😅🙏 Feeling a mixture of shock and gratitude!!

This will be my first, I'm 33 and have had my BFP second month of trying, so counting myself incredibly lucky (and praying the luck continues).

I've seen a lot of chat about drinking on this thread which is making me feel better because I've had a good few for the last 3 nights whilst visiting the final (and most boozy) part of my family. I must have implanted a few days ago which means I've been drinking whilst implanted, which is making me feel v sad :/ it's been about three drinks a night, but maybe four one night, all with food. Obviously no more!!

According to natural cycles my due date would be around the 9th of sept. Feel like I'm getting ahead of myself to even be thinking about that at this early stage!!

Hey Tor

I am 32 and due on September 7th all going well.
Ladies has anyone had any cramps? I've had dull ones since implantation, but they got a little stronger today. Nothing unbearable like.

So nervous, I have an emergency scan on Monday and don't know what to tell work as I am a teacher. It feel too early to tell them but I'll need proof.

HopefulMummy44 · 05/01/2022 22:12

@Sleepy86

Hi all, can I join you! Got my BFP today, AF not due until Saturday and I believe my EDD is 11th September. We have a DD who will be 4 in Feb, I feel like I’ve forgotten all the early pregnancy symptoms from last time. This time round I’ve been having hot flushes and cramping. Don’t remember either from last time, but hoping for a nice sticky bean!
Hey sleepy!

I am due 7th sept. I've been having hot flashes and cramps. Where are your cramps. I'm panicking mine seem to be on my right side. Don't know if that is normal.

@HopefulMummy44 www.nhs.uk/conditions/ectopic-pregnancy/
Probably it's not an ectopic, but keep an eye for any other symptoms listed in the NHS link. If you are not sure call 111 for reassurance. Hope you feel better soon.

LeiaM · 06/01/2022 05:40

Hey all, got a positive test today, due mid Sept I believe. I'm 38 and first time I've been pregnant so i'm a bit in shock. Waiting for my other half to come home to tell him he'll be very excited but I'm more nervous as it's so early days and my age etc...

Welcome Lovely!

How exciting Smile, congratulations xx

lickerdysplit · 06/01/2022 07:33

@LeiaM Congratulations! 🥳🥳

surprised12 · 06/01/2022 07:38

These early stages are so scary aren't they??

I woke up last night in the night and just felt empty! That's the only way to describe the feeling I had - just emptiness. Now I'm in panic mode thinking it was my body telling me somethings gone wrong.

Need to stay positive and try to forget about it but it's so hard!!

2mumlife · 06/01/2022 07:50

@LeiaM Congratulations! My sister had her first baby in Nov and she was 37 - everything was absolutely fine (other than constantly being referred to as a 'geriatric pregnancy' - but then my friend was is 32 referred to her as an 'older mother' too eyeroll)

Braved my first trip back to the gym. Was weird feeling nervous exercising, but I went with Tommy's advice to take it easy and ensure I kept myself to a level where I could still hold a conversation. I did have a tiny bit of blood on the plunger for my progesterone suppositries yesterday evening, but it was so little if I was even wiping and not putting stuff up there it wouldn't have been noticeable, nad I've read light spotting is really common at 5 weeks, and even more common when you're irritating your cervix with plastic plungers to stick progesterone up there 3 times a day. Looking forward to when I can finish meds at 12/13 weeks!

Tinypeanut1224 · 06/01/2022 08:29

@HopefulMummy44 - I'm definitely experiencing cramps. I'm only 4+2 but last night I had lots of cramping in my lower back and it's continued into this morning. I've not had any spotting or bleeding so hoping that it's baby just nestling in. Fingers crossed!

calipoppy · 06/01/2022 08:34

@HopefulMummy44 last pregnancy I had cramps on my right side and I called the EPU who had me in for an early scan - all was fine so I'm sure you will be too but if you're concerned that could be worth doing?

annlee3817 · 06/01/2022 08:42

Anyone else with an upset stomach, mines been off since yesterday, not nausea, the other

Belle2210 · 06/01/2022 09:07

Morning everyone

Feels kinda strange being in a Due date group! Got a complete surprise BFP on the 3rd. Both of us had Covid and were in isolation so hadn't even thought much about the 2ww for a change. Had cramps wake me up through the night and assumed TOTM was coming. Nothing in the morning so tested on 3 weeks +3 (13DPOish) and the line was darker than the control line 😳. Couldn't believe it. You know when you have all these plans on how to tell your husband/partner.... All out the window 😂. Just jumped out the bathroom like a mad woman and blurted it out 🙈.

We've been trying to concieve now for over 2 years. Tests showed I had a blocked fallopian tube so we were on the IVF waiting list. Never ever had a BFP in my whole 35 years. I'm waiting to hear back from the fertility clinic as to whether I will need to have an early scan as ectopics are more a risk with a blocked tube.

So far I feel not too bad. Have had pretty constant lower/mid back pain in one spot, some pulling feelings, random dizzy spells and a bit sicky feeling when I first get up. Main thing has been tiredness 😴. Also have this kinda calm feeling which is really weird.

I have been more the opposite way with constipation. Seen alot of people mention an upset stomach though in early pregnancy.
HopefulMummy44 · 06/01/2022 09:12

@calipoppy @Tinypeanut1224 I am booked in for Monday morning I'll be (6+1 then but I ovulate late in the month so I think I'll be about 5 when they scan).
I hope so he/she is just finding her home Smile. I will let you know how it goes.
The wait is agonising Confused

I know what you mean. Weirdly I sort of feel the same.

Since yesterday, I've just felt like I'm not pregnant. I don't feel as tired and it's really thrown me. Have myself convinced it's all going wrong and can't shake it!! And then I get cross with myself for being so negative!!

Need to get into a more positive outlook, otherwise I'll drive myself insane! and my other half too at this rate!

annlee3817 · 06/01/2022 09:28

@belle2210 I did have constipation, but now it's gone the other way, maybe been doing too much to help the constipation lol

annlee3817 · 06/01/2022 09:29

Tor88 · 06/01/2022 09:50

Nausea really hitting today! I'm only 4+6 so this worries me for the next few months 😅
