Hello everyone!

I have just had my BFP this morning, and based on dates I am due on the 1st September! I’m only just late on my period so hopefully there will be a few more of us over the next few weeks. Last pregnancy my date was pushed back a few days and DS ended up being a full 12 days late after that so I’m not too wedded to the 1st September!

@PuffyCupcake
Ahh sorry to hear about your previous cp's! Fingers crossed this one is a keeper for you ☺️ Feeling positive for you though if you've made it to 17 DPO!
So my symptoms have been on and off...had some strong symptoms (high progesterone type symptoms) between 10-13dpo and then they've eased off loads in last couple of days luckily. Only ones I've still got are mild cramping/tugging which is getting more intermittent and backache (which is extremely unusual for me). How about your symptoms?
Are you planning on getting one of those early reassurance scans? My hubby thinks I'm being a massive worry wart but I'm so paranoid about telling anyone and jinxing it without knowing it's ok 🙈 don't even believe in jinxing either...but knowing my luck 😅

Hi everyone :) I had my blood test today following on from a transfer of 2x 5 day frozen embryos 21st December, my 4th go on IVF for my 1st baby, been trying for almost 4 years. The blood test came back positive, with a 6316 hcg level! Shock (please not twins....)

I think roughly due 5th September? With an early scan booked in with the fertility clinic 25th Jan.

starkid · 04/01/2022 17:29

Am on progesterone injections, vaginal gel and estrogen tablets until 12 weeks too.

Congratulations ladies!

Just had my BFP which means I am due Baby No. 2 on 15th September. As a teacher I couldn’t have asked for a more convenient time to go on maternity leave!

Early days (only 10/11 dpo) so I am going to get a cb digi to do next week for peace of mind.

Congratulations everyone!

Oh wow, how amazing! Congratulations! Those HCG levels are great!!
lickerdysplit · 04/01/2022 17:49

@starkid Huge congratulations!! ❤️❤️❤️Progesterone pessaries are grim, aren't they?? 😆

lickerdysplit · 04/01/2022 17:51

@starkid Whoops, just realised you said injections. Those are the second to least favourite thing about IVF 👀😩😩

WhatTheEll · 04/01/2022 17:57

Congrats everyone 🥳🥳
I'm due 5th Sept so only 5 weeks this Thurs. I've got a call with GP soon to discuss progesterone pessaries as I had two miscarriages last year. I have a 4.5 year old DS with a rare chromosome disorder. It took 3 months to conceive with him and we've been ttc #2 for 18 months. Praying this one sticks!! I've compared tests and this time round they're much darker 🤞🏻 good luck everyone! X

starkid · 04/01/2022 18:23

@lickerdysplit I'm doing the injections AND twice-daily vaginal pessaries! :O

@cantbelieveit2022 I know right, unreal

Hi all just a lurker here for the time being. Currently 4+4 due 9th Sept from my last period date.

Very nervous as this will be baby 3 but super excited too. Also a nervous wreck about anything going wrong.

Congratulations to you all ❤

LizzeyBenett · 04/01/2022 18:41

Just found out today I'm shocked and delighted , due date estimation is 9th September first baby so I'm googling like a mad woman .

@girafferafferaffe

Is anyone else carrying on exercising through? I do strength training as I've been trying to get stronger and I don't want to lose that. I was extremely unhealthy and unfit the last pregnancy and though I am in no way lighter this time, I am a lot stronger. I use fitness+ and they have a whole section of pregnancy strength exercises so I can use those and adjust the ones that aren't geared towards pregnancy.
I'm going back to the gym next week after the holidays, I will just be careful but plan to keep lifting and cardio. It's important to keep fit and healthy now more than ever I think .
Coopertron123 · 04/01/2022 19:16

I tried the link it doesn't take me too it. What's the name of the Facebook group please. X

annlee3817 · 04/01/2022 19:47

Ah I think they expire after 24 hours, @becky239 can you generate a new one?

becky239 · 04/01/2022 19:52

@Coopertron123 from what I can see the link expires after 20 people have used it so I think that's why people are having issues, and it won't let me generate a new link for 48 hours. If you want to send me a friend request I can invite you. The page won't come up if you search for it as I've put it on the highest levels of privacy with everyone being so early on. My name is Becky Leanne. I'll add a picture of my profile picture so you know what your looking for for anyone else who would like to join Smile

@Tor88

Hi guys, I'm in the UK (London specifically) and this is my first pregnancy. I was expecting to be able to see a Dr straight away but was asked to fill in a midwife self referral instead, and am told they won't see me til 8 weeks?

I wondered if someone who's had a pregnancy in England before could run me through what I can I expect and when in terms of scans? I know there is a biggie at 12 weeks, and I believe that's when they can check the health is all ok?? Thank you ☺️

The 12 week is a dating scan where they may adjust your due date. The really important scan is the 20 week ‘anomaly scan’. It normally gets overlooked as it’s the scan where you usually find out about the gender (super exciting!!) but it’s the one that checks for major issues
Coopertron123 · 04/01/2022 21:09

I have just sent you a request @becky239 initials AT

surprised12 · 04/01/2022 21:27

Does anyone else just feel calm one moment - and then worries about EVERYTHING the next???

These are the things I've worried about today (don't judge me ha!)

  • something going wrong and not knowing the difference.
  • having the scan and them not being able to find anything
  • giving birth
  • what if I poop while giving birth? Does that even happen?
  • what will my lady parts be like after birth?
  • how much weight will I gain?
  • why does EVERYTHING smell like onions to me, including myself?!?!? (Weird I know)
  • what if it's twins?
  • how will I cope with a new born and a dog??
  • will I be bothered to regularly wash my hair when I've had a baby??
