My scan has been moved up to today because they want to check my kidneys at the same time.

Nervous. Will likely be too early for my screening too.

@Pandamama88 you poor thing, I can see why you’re feeling so down. You know what? She can’t poison your beautiful baby against you, this is the start of a new bright future ❤️ All that matters is the new family you’re creating. I’d recommend: stay off socials, make new friends deserving of you that she doesn’t know about, cut off toxic people and make sure she has no way (basically by not broadcasting to family or on social media) where you work or who you are socialising with.

Why on Earth is she doing this to you, she sounds like a piece of work!!

Just place marking myself here ladies after being in hospital for a few days with the good old HG.

Haven’t managed to catch up yet (we are such a chatty bunch) but hope everyone ok and good luck to those with scans this week. Mines Wednesday!xx

I'm so jealous you and @jennixxx have your scans this week - mine isn't until the 20th which feels like a lifetime away (in fact I had a little cry about it this morning!) Hope everything goes well!

3pm but we're an hour from hospital so I'll be leaving before 2.

Does anyone else live an hour from their nearest hospital and idly wonder if they'll be giving birth in the footwell of their DH's car? 😂

I think there's a very high chance I'll be too early for screening today, so I'll have to go back in a week or so. I'm 11+3 according to my early scan (I had at 8 weeks) but unsure how accurate that is.

@PeeAche I'm an hour, so I've opted for a local midwife centre instead - just no epidurals or anything. But at least it won't be born on a motorway!

@Starbeach are you taking any meds? How did your scan go?

@PurpleMoon12 ours is all country lanes, no motorway. I don't have a local MLU. Our MLU is at the hospital as well. 😂

Baby still there and growing well, SO relieved! But still too early for accurate dating and the other test so going back on the 22nd when I'll be 13+2. Will be lovely to have another picture just before Christmas xxx

@Pandamama88 I am so sorry your sister is so hateful. I have the exact same thing going on with mine... she even went as far as joining a church temporarily to slander me! Backfired though, thank God. 2 years on family and others have now realised she lies. Your sister won't win forever, soon people will see through her and anyone who knows you will know that those nasty lies are false anyway! Big hugs. Those who love you are there, keep them close xxxx

Is anyone else suffering majorly with light headedness/dizziness? I feel like I’m experiencing some sort of out of body experience and it is NOT fun!!!xx

@czycoup went well thank god one very wriggly little bean in there. So wriggly I had to walk round the hospital a couple of times so try get it in the right position to scan 😂

I haven't wanted to start "shopping" but I have just nabbed myself 2 massive bundles of clothes aged 0-3 and 3-6 months from Freecycle!

Admittedly, they are for a girl, and it's equally likely I'm having a boy but who cares? Unicorns don't care if you're a boy or a girl and neither do I! 😅

@pregnancydiaries I've been super light headed in the morning recently, but seems to be manageable with the odd sit-down.

Is anyone feeling like they can't focus, tired and without appetite? I am nearly 11 weeks (on Wednesday) and today I am feeling down and tired. I am at the office and can't focus on anything, thankfully my clients are in based in countries where today is bank holiday so I don't need to deal with them!
Also, I am finding that today I don't really fancy eating...had some nausea in the morning but it eased a bit after I had a croissant and some popcorn (not the healthiest...)
My scan is on Wednesday so hopefully all will be fine!!

@MsBubbles85 yes me 100%. Luckily I'm still working from home and my other half occasionally takes on the rouse of mouse wriggler while I nap so that my computer / teams doesn't show me as away so I can have a much needed rest! I'm not sure how I'd handle going into work itself each day (especially as its an hour drive each way!)

Thanks @BunBun221. Hopefully I only need to come twice a week to the office but I might skip tomorrow as my boss has told me that I don't need to come if I am not feeling well...the joys of pregnancy!

@RoseValleyRambles I’m completely bed bound and even then it’s bad, read that it’s really common (annoyingly!!)
