@clomid1 hey hun ...ive been less frequent on this recently aswell . And we both have been similar with symptoms from the start along with dates 😂 wont be surprised if ur in the same hospital as me haha

MrsNT · 22/12/2021 12:09

Is it normal for tummy to feel firmer now compared to before? U can probably tell Im a 1st time mommy to be with my silly questions

Clomid1 · 22/12/2021 12:13

@MrsNT hahaha once we have given birth we need to compare dates and times. Are you still symptomless as well? I know its a blessing really but it does make you worry 😅.

You’re not in London are you? Would be amazing if we give birth on the same day 😁

Clomid1 · 22/12/2021 12:16

@MrsNT mine feels like that too but then I am also massively constipated 😂

@clomid1 constipation is a symptom so u do have 1 .. i guess everyone is different .my mother was never sick in any of her pregnancies either. Whereas my manager was so sick and i knew instantly shes preg even before she announced at work.

EarlGreywithLemon · 22/12/2021 12:23

@ALHCTPS I’m also leaking with coughing and sneezing (and I have a cold at the moment; joy!). I also had a tricky birth and a prolapse, though after physio my pronates was no longer detectable and my pelvic floor improved (though not quite to 100%). I think it is partly hormones, partly pressure on the pelvic floor from the new pregnancy. Mind you, I have a friend who had two c sections and she has a bit of leaking too!
@PeeAche that’s bonkers! Good that a compromise has been reached. He’s lucky: I’d refuse to see them even in the garden after that, out of principle if nothing else.
15 weeks today and still getting waves of nausea through the day, but that’s still an improvement from feeling sick 24/7! Also the nausea is feeling less extreme.

EarlGreywithLemon · 22/12/2021 12:24

Prolapse not pronate!

ALHCTPS · 22/12/2021 12:31

I’m 14 weld on Saturday and the nausea and pregnancy insomnia is lifting at last. Also had a head cold (paracetamol does NOTHING) and my booster jab last week, so was particularly run down and feeling awful. Utterly blissful to feel human, but now I’m worried I’m not pregnant any more. One of the few pluses of feeling like shit was that it proved I was still definitely up the duff. Can’t bloody win.

MrsNT · 22/12/2021 12:47

Speaking of booster jabs, what are you ladies doing? Are you getting it or waiting until after giving birth?

MsBubbles85 · 22/12/2021 12:51

I have it booked for the 28th of December, I will be 14 weeks by then.

Clueless22 · 22/12/2021 13:17

@MrsNT I had my booster yesterday and other than a sore arm I'm all good which is a relief as I was really groggy after the first two.
I felt it was OK as there will have been a number of babies born by now that will have had a dose while in the belly and no reported issues as far as I know. Also, I fear in order to be able to do anything in 2022 a booster will be needed 😌

Prema112 · 22/12/2021 13:23

@Unarosaes I often wake up on my back too! I think I need a pregnancy pillow.

@beansprout55 thinking of you!! Good luck! X

ALHCTPS · 22/12/2021 13:32

@MrsNT I waited until after 12 weeks, but the risk of Covid to me and the baby felt much more significant than any risk from the vaccine, which has been tested by 100s of 1000s of pregnant women now. I’m reading so many horrible stories of still births due to Covid on the third trimester. Lots of women in intensive care. It may be that they had had no vaccine whatsoever, but I’m not taking any chances that the first two jabs have worn off.

ALHCTPS · 22/12/2021 13:33

Also, getting vaccinated means the baby will have antibodies too while he or she is small and vulnerable.

EarlGreywithLemon · 22/12/2021 13:50

@MrsNT I had mine at 8 weeks - first day I possibly could, and no hesitation. GP was also extremely keen that I had it ASAP, and midwives/ the consultant I saw all checked that I’d had it. No side effects except a sore arm.

Rolledthedice · 22/12/2021 13:51

@Clomid1 and @MrsNT I’m glad to hear others are also not having any symptoms! It’s weird to not feel pregnant at 15 weeks! I’m just counting myself lucky and hoping to continue as long as possible this way. 😅

Lostintranslatio · 22/12/2021 15:46

I got my booster yesterday at 12+6. Feeling a bit down (sore arm, bit of temperature) but I'm so relieved I could get it so quick 😅

MrsNT · 22/12/2021 16:02

I have got a booking msg for booster but im a bit hesitent this time. Still deciding whether to get it or wait. Got double vaccinated before pregnancy .

DaimDillyDoo · 22/12/2021 16:12

I had my 2nd dose of covib jab today, I am late getting it but already panicking that I'll get a blood clot or something. I never usually worry about these things! Ugh hope baby is ok

EarlGreywithLemon · 22/12/2021 16:29

@DaimDillyDoo don’t worry, Pfizer/Moderna aren’t the ones with the blood clot risk.

EarlGreywithLemon · 22/12/2021 16:33

Ah- I see you mean the second. Even so, I think the Astra risk is mostly for the first dose, and even so no worse than blood clot risks from Covid.

JAR1981 · 22/12/2021 17:53

I had my booster last week and no I’ll effects. Also got to hear the heartbeat thumping away at my 16 week check on Monday.

Almost 17 weeks here and no symptoms bar a slow digestive system.

Pregnancy pillow definitely stops the rolling but hasn’t helped me with hip pain (I am so not a side sleeper my hips kill lying on them all night).

@PeeAche so glad you found an Xmas compromise.

JAR1981 · 22/12/2021 17:53

ill effects

rathernotshare · 22/12/2021 18:07

We found out today we are having a girl! 4d scan was a little weird I have to say 😂
