Hello!

Please can I join? I'm just four weeks so sliding into the end of July. So anxious 😬 nice to 'meet' you all

@PleaseSendNoodles glad it's stopped, that must have been a shock!

@ChrissyAero Congratulations! I got told that with a previous pregnancy and kept telling all the midwives they found a cyst and none of them were worried at all, so I think must be normal!

kelsn96 · 21/11/2021 08:40

@ChrissyAero congratulations!!! So beautiful. Yes I have heard cysts are really common during pregnancy, glad all has gone well for youSmile!

emmatake2 · 21/11/2021 08:53

Hey everyone, can I join too? I'm just 4 weeks and due 29th/30th July, I have a DD who is 22 months. This is first time trying again since a miscarriage in the summer. Still a bit nervous so trying not to get too excited yet

@ChrissyAero glad your scan went well!

Bea14 · 21/11/2021 08:53

Hi everyone,

I am hoping I can tentatively join in too. I am currently 4+5 with an estimated due date of 26th July. I am very anxious after having a miscarriage in July. We have been TTC for over 18 months and are having investigations with the fertility clinic so I was surprised but delighted to get a BFP. The lines are getting darker and other than some red and pink spotting at 9/10/11dpo I have not had any bleeding. My symptoms come and go a bit, I think that's normal, but my boobs are always sore! Trying to feel positive about this one.

Sorry to hear some of you are in limbo regarding measurements etc but keeping everything crossed for you. It is so small at this point it is easy to measure a little out.
Nice to see some people having positive scans too!

Maybepossibly22 · 21/11/2021 09:28

Hi @Bea14 - we’re exactly the same, 4+5, with symptoms that come and go. I’ve got a cold, so not sure what is cold symptoms and what is pregnancy symptoms! My boobs aren’t as sore today but round ligament pain is still there with some period type cramping. Hope you’re feeling as well as possible x

Ckhw · 21/11/2021 10:23

@Bea14@Maybepossibly22 we're buddies! I'm due around July 26 too :)

JJ1992 · 21/11/2021 10:47

@ChrissyAero thank you for sharing your scan its so lovely to see 🥰

Where im at right now is ive told a couple of close friends / family, doing this has made everything feel very real and im starting to think about my diet and how to keep healthy! Really lacking motivation with the weather and fatigue, does anyone have tips for regular exercise / ways to keep moving when bed looks like the best place on earth? 😂 Maybe i need to hire a toddler for a couple weeks...

Maybepossibly22 · 21/11/2021 11:05

@Ckhw oh how exciting! More buddies Smile it all feels very surreal at the moment, hoping to have an early scan around 7 weeks just so it can feel a bit more real and put my anxieties at ease

Cruz86 · 21/11/2021 11:19

Congratulations on your scan @ChrissyAero!! I had a haemorrhagic cyst on my left ovary with my son and it didn't cause any issues at all. I think it was gone by my 20 week scan ☺️ x

You’re welcome to borrow my toddler today, she has me up half of last night so I’m feeling slightly jaded this morning (good job she’s cute!) Grin

kelsn96 · 21/11/2021 11:47

Hi all again!

My anxiety is playing up again today! Yesterday and the day before I suffered quite bad with nausea which is usually triggered by motion/smell of certain things and I had to keep laying down, however, today I'm tired but not really felt nauseas. Have had it very mildly but barely noticeable, is it normal for it to come and go? With my MMC, I used to get nauseas first thing on a morning but this time round it can happen at random times of the day and it lasted the whole day the past two days. Any reassurance would be appreciated as I don't have a scan for another 3 and half weeks!

Bea14 · 21/11/2021 11:52

@Ckhw and @Maybepossibly22 exciting we are all at the same point! Sorry to hear you have a cold maybepossibly, that is a real pain. I am feeling tired and gassy but otherwise mainly fine. I am thinking about getting an early scan too. I can't decide if it will make me more anxious or less anxious though. I am dreading the thought of getting bad news. It is going to be a super busy time for us too as we get our new house on the 16th December and officially move in on the 22nd December.

Does anyone here take baby asprin? I have only had one miscarriage and haven't been prescribed it but have been wondering whether I should take it or not. I am terrified of having another miscarriage and would be devastated to think I might have been able to prevent it. Part of me thinks if it does no harm then it is worth a try? Just wondering if anyone has had any experience they would be happy to share.

Elsols93 · 21/11/2021 12:38

@kelsn96 honestly don’t worry I was the exact same Friday morning I woke up not as nauseous and was Googling everything, come yesterday I woke up the worst I ever felt couldn’t get out of bed was so nauseous! Xx

kelsn96 · 21/11/2021 12:47

@Elsols93 thank you for responding! It's madness that we hope to have nausea to feel pregnant. I take some comfort in knowing my breasts/nipples have grown slightly and nipples are tender, and I'm really tired! I have my first midwife appointment on Wednesday so hope things start to feel real. I really wish they checked HCG levels during these appt, would give me some reassurance!xx

Elsols93 · 21/11/2021 12:51

I no @kelsn96 I was pinching myself yesterday completely jinxed myself couldn’t eat ot drink anything ended up crying 😂 I hate the anxious worry you think it’s stops at 12 weeks but it gradually just takes over the whole bloody pregnancy! Xxx

annie1994 · 21/11/2021 13:13

@kelsn96 I have had awful morning sickness and one day last week I woke up feeling absolutely fine. I was stressing out so contacted my midwife and she said it’s normal for symptoms to come and go and unless your bleeding or in pain she wouldn’t worry too much. Literally a few hours after I spoke to the midwife the sickness came back with vengeance!!

CaptainCarp · 21/11/2021 15:14

Hi all
I've had spotting on & off for a few days. A bit more today & had a few cramps but the hospital said not to worry if it was just a small amount & brown... Just trying to stay calm & not obsess.

OP posts:
Bea14 · 21/11/2021 16:39

@captaincarp I totally get why you are obsessing. If it is just spotting and not heavy bleeding then hopefully it will be ok. I think spotting in early pregnancy is quite common. I would be anxious too though. Sending you positive vibes 🤞

CaptainCarp · 21/11/2021 17:13

@Bea14 thank you.
I do seem to have had waves of nausea today & woke up at 4am like lots have said on here so I'm hoping the pregnancy symptoms are a positive sign!

Trying to hide the fact I feel sick from SDC & I'm thankful they like a lunch of crackers 😂

Misty84 · 21/11/2021 17:42

@CaptainCarp I’ve been waking up at 4am and staying awake since finding out (which was only 4 days ago); I figured down to anxiety. Is it normal then?

I think your spotting sounds ok so try not to worry 🙂

rdr15 · 21/11/2021 19:18

Found new thread! Hope everyone is well. My anxiety been pretty high. I'm considering a private early scan, is anyone else having one?

Misty84 · 21/11/2021 19:49

Hi @rdr15 I’m having an early scan at week 7. I’ve been highly anxious for several reasons and it’s better for my mental health if I know what’s going on.

SamanthaVimes · 21/11/2021 20:01

@rdr15 I’m having one when I think I’ll be 9 weeks (mostly because I don’t want to go through Xmas without one and I’ll relax a bit once I’ve seen a heartbeat)

Cruz86 · 21/11/2021 22:27

It's so hard not to obsess isn't it @CaptainCarp! Hope you're doing okay, the spotting does sound very normal so fingers crossed all positive for you.

Does anyone feel like they pretty much have a constant dull ache right across from hip to hip? I'm really hoping it's normal and not a sign of an impending miscarriage. Every little niggle is worrying me at the moment!

I also wake up around 3/4 every morning for a couple of hours and I think it's because of anxiety too 😩 Doesn't help when you're already really tired!

Misty84 · 21/11/2021 22:53

@Cruz86 I’ve developed dull aches in both my sides today which hurt a bit more when I cough! I don’t know if that’s the same as your symptoms. I’m lying here in bed googling it!🙄 There’s always something to worry about and I’ve barely begun!
