Hey everyone! Congratulations 🥳
May I please join you :)
I'm around 4 weeks and due July 28th, so just in there.
I am absolutely knackered, thank goodness for working from home because I am mostly lazing on the sofa. Not sure how anyone is managing this in a physical place of work. Earlier today I had to do a simple spreadsheet 4 times to get it right, and can't find the will to do anything more strategic.
I don't have many symptoms either and trying not to worry and accept my body's reaction to the process.

fidget223 · 19/11/2021 16:29

Can I join please? Due late July with my first!

Misty84 · 19/11/2021 16:42

Bit worried that everyone is so tired- should I be tired?! I’m 4 weeks and only symptom is sore boobs (which I usually have before AF anyway and it’s just stayed).

Elsols93 · 19/11/2021 16:56

@Cruz86 I’m 8 weeks today slightly had some nausea a hour or so ago so must be in my head , how are you feeling there’s me moaning about nothing ! Have everything crossed for you ❤️❤️❤️

@Misty84 was you on the October ttc thread? Congratulations and don’t worry my symptoms only hit week 6 and ever so mildly then xx

Misty84 · 19/11/2021 17:32

Aww thank you @Elsols93 for the reassurance! No I wasn’t on that thread, I was on a TTC 35+ thread FOREVER! Until now 🤗

ChrissyAero · 19/11/2021 18:05

@kelsn96 I'm just one day ahead of you - due 12th July and also had a MC with my last pregnancy. I'm super anxious all the time, it's draining!
I've booked an early "reassurance" scan for tomorrow and hoping to see a heartbeat. I'm so nervous I almost don't want to go!!

ChrissyAero · 19/11/2021 18:08

Also been feeling really nauseous, although haven't actually been sick. And ridiculously tired all the time.

annie1994 · 19/11/2021 18:30

Glad I’ve found the new thread Smile

@kelsn96 they scan between 11 and 13 weeks so there is a chance you may have yours before Christmas! My scan is 21st December and I’ll be 12+3. Fingers crossed for you!

Coco9910 · 19/11/2021 18:33

I hadn’t experienced any tiredness yet but it’s hit me like a brick this evening since finishing work. So Christmas film in bed for me and while DH makes dinner 😁

Also, this may be a silly question, but I still need to call the hospital to book an initial appointment. What do I say when I call? 🙈 Sorry it’s my first and I’m clueless!

kelsn96 · 19/11/2021 18:43

@ChrissyAero congratulations!! The waiting is horrific, times going so slow! I'm trying to be really good and not go for early scans, it was so traumatic with my MMC having to go back every two weeks. Trying to stay positive but it's really hard. I can't bring myself to download any pregnancy apps etc incase I jinx myself , ridiculous I know. I usually get nausea mid morning but today it has been most the day. It seems to be when I go too long without eating. Was very tired yesterday after work I just crashed and feeling very sleepy today too! Good luck on your scan tomorrow, keep us updated on how it goes!Smile

kelsn96 · 19/11/2021 18:46

@annie1994 congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope so, I'd much rather have my hospital scan than a private so if I get the scan before Christmas I'll be so happy. I hope to break the news to family Christmas Day Smile hope all goes well at your scan! Have you had many symptoms so far?

kelsn96 · 19/11/2021 18:48

@Coco9910 congratulations! Do you know how far along you are? The first thing I did was contact my GP to make an appointment with the community midwife which is your booking appointment which usually happens between 8-10 weeks, although, mines next week and I'll only be 7! Following that appointment you will receive a letter from your hospital with a date for your dating scan Smile

MrsCtobe91 · 19/11/2021 20:00

@kelsn96 you're welcome 😊. I totally get you with avoiding testing. I decided to not do it this time cause as much as it's good for reassurance it can also just make anxiety worse which is something we definitely don't need right now. That's a good sign that you got your 3+. Its really hard not overthinking when your mind is like 'nope' we can only do what we can to avoid it. Im sure it will, i have the same problem as you so only my partner knows but so far iv felt so much better today after joining these threads and talking to ladies who are going through the same thing. Its like such a relief to talk about it. Its probably best to wait to be honest to make sure all is well, im going to wait to tell mine too. You could speak to your MW see if she can get you an earlier appt to reassure you. Hopefully your scan will be before 12weeks if not but it's definitely worth a try. Xx

MrsCtobe91 · 19/11/2021 20:05

Hey @Rachae, how did you get on with your progression lines? I couldn't find the other theead but i remembered your name 😂. Xx

JJ1992 · 19/11/2021 20:13

What is 3+ guys?

Coco9910 · 19/11/2021 20:15

@kelsn96 that’s great thank you! My app says I’m 5+2 but I think I’m probably more between 4 and 5 weeks. Should I wait until I’m a certain amount of weeks or just call Monday and tell my doctors?

MrsCtobe91 · 19/11/2021 20:17

@JJ1992 its the weeks indicator on a clearblue digital test. Xx

kelsn96 · 19/11/2021 20:18

@Coco9910 it's so exciting isn't it!! I called when I was around 4 and half weeks so I'd say call Monday. It's so difficut to get appointments lately due to covid so the sooner the better Smile

kelsn96 · 19/11/2021 20:32

@JJ1992 Hi! Clear blue have digital tests that have week indicators. They detect hcg levels to determine how far you are based on date of conception. You can results of 1-2, 2-3 or 3+. I took two one these, one the day after my AF was due and I got 2-3, and another a week later and got 3+ which is an indicator the pregnancy is progressing. I have heard, however, these are not always accurate but gave me some reassurance Smile

JJ1992 · 19/11/2021 20:36

@kelsn96 @MrsCtobe91 thanks guys! I might need to try one of these. So for example im 5 weeks today so would expect to see 3 weeks?

Rachae · 19/11/2021 20:51

Hey on those weeks indicators I asked a question earlier similar ... For those who got a 3+ what week and day did you get it please? 😊 X

kelsn96 · 19/11/2021 21:03

@Rachae hi!! I got mine when I was around 5+4 (from my LMP) exactly 3 weeks after conception. I may have gotten it earlier but was doing the tests once a week to give time for HCG to develop. Hope this helps x

HoneyPea · 19/11/2021 21:06

@Rachae

Hey on those weeks indicators I asked a question earlier similar ... For those who got a 3+ what week and day did you get it please? 😊 X
I got mine 5weeks + 1 day after LMP I only did 2 tests though. One a few days after period was due which was 2-3 and then the 3+ 5 days later
Rachae · 19/11/2021 21:09

@kelsn96 @HoneyPea brilliant thank you! And congratulations 🥰 xx

EMF89 · 19/11/2021 21:47

@MrsCtobe91

Hi ladies, mind if i join? I was also on another thread but can't find it now 🙄.

Anywho, congratulations to you all. Im 5+2 and due around the 22nd.

Anyone feeling super anxious with absolutely no symptoms? I had a Chemical in April then a Mmc in july when i should've been 8weeks, that ended in a surgical evacuation 😔 so now im constantly on edge and have just taken of my fitbit cause my RHR has me worried 🤦🏻‍♀️. Feels like the worrying won't end. Xx

I'm meant to be due 22nd too. Although really skeptical about that as I have PCOS so my cycles are longer anyway. I'm feeling exactly the same...super anxious & not really any symptoms. I was getting cramps but they seem to have eased. I've done a few more tests this week to keep checking (first pregnancy). I know I need to relax but easier said than done Confused x
