@CaptainCarp that's the reason I told my boss -don't want to be fishy about my reasons going to scan apps He actually said he really appreciated I gave him plenty of notice, cos it gives me lots of time to sort cover.

Also god forbid if this pregnancy does not end well then I'd need 2-3 or so weeks off work. And would have to tell him regardless as taking such long sick leave he'd def ask me if I'm okay etc.

So whatever works for everyone's personal circumstance really.

@Chh0412 I'm so sorry:( how many weeks are you? What did they say they expected, like a heartbeat? I had similar as in big bleed and at the scan was advised to come back in a week to see if baby progressed, so I know how tough that week is SadDaffodil

Ckhw · 19/11/2021 09:23

Can I join :) due late July

Lostintranslatio · 19/11/2021 09:54

@Monday55 the past 2 weeks have been awful for me in work. Actually I was off Monday to Wednesday this week, unable to do anything but lying down on the couch.

I had a bit more energy yesterday and was able to work from home and today I seem to be having a good day today. And it is a relieve but at the same time I get so concerned my symptoms are easing off at 8+2 (I had a MMC and I can't take it off my mind).

JaffaCakeGal · 19/11/2021 09:56

re work: I just started a new job in September as I was supposed to go back off mat leave in October to my old place and they screwed me over for hours. In my last pregnancy I stupidly told the women I worked with that I was going to do a test (thinking I wouldn't get pregnant first time - silly me) so they knew from the start, then I had to tell my male boss earlier than I wanted to cos of covid and needing to shield (back at the start when that was advised for pregnant people).

This time I'm worried with it being a new job how they will take it. I think I'll have to say before Christmas as there will likely be works drinks at some point and it will be obvious! It's quite male dominated this job compared to my last so they probably won't be very interested Grin

MrsCtobe91 · 19/11/2021 11:10

Hi ladies, mind if i join? I was also on another thread but can't find it now 🙄.

Anywho, congratulations to you all. Im 5+2 and due around the 22nd.

Anyone feeling super anxious with absolutely no symptoms? I had a Chemical in April then a Mmc in july when i should've been 8weeks, that ended in a surgical evacuation 😔 so now im constantly on edge and have just taken of my fitbit cause my RHR has me worried 🤦🏻‍♀️. Feels like the worrying won't end. Xx

Coco9910 · 19/11/2021 11:10

Hi everyone,

Finally decided to post on here! I got my first BFP on Monday and have been waiting to test to make sure the line got darker and got this on Clearblue today so it’s made me a bit more excited! Just hoping it continues to stick ☺️ One of my apps has suggested I may be due around 21st July but I reckon it may be a week or so later as I ovulated around 3 weeks into my cycle.

Just a quick question, I’m booked into the hairdressers tomorrow for half a head of highlights. Is this safe or should I cancel? Any advice appreciated ☺️

I thought our last chat was quiet then realised it was full 😂

Thenewgirl2468 · 19/11/2021 12:35

MrsCtobe91 - I also have no symptoms really at all and am similar to you in terms of weeks. I’m exhausted today but that’s because DD had me up at 5am. I think it can be normal to have very little symptoms at this stage.

Thenewgirl2468 · 19/11/2021 12:37

@Coco9910 I got a full head done around 34/35 weeks with DD so think it’s fine! You could always ring them and ask if you’re nervous??

Coco9910 · 19/11/2021 13:13

@Thenewgirl2468 I’ve contacted them and they said it’s fine as it doesn’t touch the scalp ☺️ I better get used to this worrying about everything for the next 8 months 😂

HoneyPea · 19/11/2021 13:19

Yay, I've found the new thread! @MrsCtobe91 My RHR has panicked me too, it's taken a nose dive since last Weds 🙁 Did yours go down with your mmc? Luckily (or unluckily I'm not sure!) I'm still feeling extremely nauseous x

Elsols93 · 19/11/2021 13:19

I’m worrying today I haven’t woke up nauseaous just panicking me where as yesterday I was full on nauseous till around this time xx

LemonyT · 19/11/2021 13:30

Hello all. I’m due 1 July so just make it into this thread! I’m waiting as long as possible before I have to tell my work as I’ll be in my probation period until March 2022! I’m hoping I can get away with it until mid-Jan/ Feb?

Cruz86 · 19/11/2021 13:32

I thought the same about the other thread @Elsols93! 😂 How far are you now? They do say symptoms come and go at this stage!

Sorry to hear about your scan @Chh0412. The waiting game is so so hard. How far did you think you were and what did they estimate you at? I also just want to curl up in a ball and hide but like you say, very difficult with a toddler and work. Thinking of you.

Luckily I don't need to tell anyone because I'm self-employed which is great 😂

I'm really trying to stay positive about my scan this week. I did finally get a 3+ on a test this morning which I do think means surely everything is still progressing like it should, I just obviously wasn't as far as I thought? I don't know, it would mean my body didn't pick up on conception until a few days before my bfp but I'm trying to stay cautiously optimistic.

MrsDaft · 19/11/2021 13:35

Congratulations everyone! 😘

@MrsCtobe91 sorry to hear about your losses. I have absolutely no symptoms either and 3 still quite faint positive tests. Due date calculator is saying 17th July for me but I’ve never had a positive before so not sure what to think yet! The tests should probably be darker than they are by now and lots of people have symptoms by this point, and I’ve had some bleeding so I’m unsure too! Everything pointing towards just wait it out and see but I’m so impatient 🤦🏻‍♀️

kelsn96 · 19/11/2021 13:47

Hi all,

I thought it's time for me to join!

I'm around 6wk 3d and got my BFP on 1st October at 9dpo after suffering a mmc with my first pregnancy at the end of August. My EDD is roughly 13t July. Extremely anxious this time around, can't help but worry!! Have a private scan booked on 16th December at 10 weeks so I can inform family at Christmas. Current symptoms, some nausea that comes and goes, sore nipples and urinating quite a bit put putting that down to drinking more water. Concerned that I'm not having enough symptoms, any reassurance would be great! I realise I'm early but just want to feel pregnant to put my mind at ease!! How do you get over the anxiety after a loss, it's ruining the experience for me :(

MrsCtobe91 · 19/11/2021 14:04

@Thenewgirl2468 it seems to be more common then not doesn't it, im glad im not the only one with no symptoms. I hope you manage to catch up on your sleep 😊

@HoneyPea it really makes your anxiety go through yhe roof doesn't it 🤦🏻‍♀️. Unfortunately it did which is why im so panicked this time round, though i do wish id never kept my eye on it. I hope your nausea is still a good sign 🤞🏻

@MrsDaft it's hard to not worry when you have no symptoms and the tests are faint plus with the bleeding. Has the bleeding subsided? I would step away from the test if i were you. I tested frequently last time and because i noticed a very slight change in one of the dye stealers i ended up an anxious mess until i started miscarrying so I've promised myself i wouldn't do it this time. Id rather not know until it happens. I hope you find some reassurance in this group like i am 🙏🏻

Xxx

MrsCtobe91 · 19/11/2021 14:11

@kelsn96 firstly, congratulations!
Secondly, it's so hard trying not to worry after a loss and it really does ruin the experience. Im in the same position except i have no symptoms at all but im going to try my absolute best to only worry if i get pain or bleeding which is obviously easier said then done but i think we need to make ourselves realise that were putting ourselves through unnecessary stress about something we 1) can't control and 2) don't know what is happening. I guess we need to try and get through each day the best we can. This group is helping me for sure. Xx

Misty84 · 19/11/2021 14:19

Hello please can I join🙂I am due late July.

This will be our first after 2.5 years of trying, £14k spent on tests and failed IVF. After all that it was the biggest shock that it happened naturally! Seeing that bfp on Weds was the best feeling in the world!! I wish I had more faith that it will last but my partner has terrible sperm defragmentation which apparently doubles the miscarriage risk 😖

This is so scary!!!!

MrsDaft · 19/11/2021 14:38

Aww thank you for the lovely advice! It is hard not not to go crazy on testing, It's just so tempting! 😂
My test lines were darker this morning and have a good or more reassuring first response one too!
Bleeding has stopped but now have brown spotting, which I think is just leftover from last weeks bleed! EPU said far too early to know for sure either way so to just test in a week and then phone back good or bad.
Think I will step away from the tests for the week and see how we go ☺️

A lot of us seem to be in the same boat with no pregnancy symptoms and apprehension so that is reassuring in itself.

On a lighter note... God help us all for getting through the festive season of not drinking and not getting found out 😂🙏🏼

MrsDaft · 19/11/2021 14:40

@MrsCtobe91 meant to tag you in my previous post 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

MrsCtobe91 · 19/11/2021 14:56

@MrsDaft thank you for the tag 😂. You're very welcome 😊. It really is hard not to test, i mean it helps me that i don't actually have any and refuse to buy any but at the same time im contemplating buying a CBD 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😂. Oh thats a good sign that the tests are darker 🙌🏻. Im glad the bleeding has stopped, hopefully it stays away for good and the positives keep getting stronger if you accidentally take one 😏😂 i promise i won't judge 😌.

Yeh its mad how common it is isn't it, it's such a huge relief when you're not alone.

Hahaha let's just tell them we joined AA due to drinking too much thanks to being locked down too many times 😂. Xx

Rainbow123456789 · 19/11/2021 15:46

@Monday55 @Lostintranslatio

I’m feeling the exact same, I have had absolutely no energy to do anything, I can’t even keep up mentally with any tv series. I’ve been getting annoyed with myself as I like to keep on top of things in the house cause I know if I don’t it’ll get so bad I won’t want to even start it. So it is little hard atm.
Honestly though I’m a little relieved it’s not just me, not that I wish it upon anyone else but with it being my first pregnancy I didn’t know if it was in the range of being normal. I hope you both feel better soon ❤️

kelsn96 · 19/11/2021 16:14

@MrsCtobe91 thank you so much for writing back and congratulations to you too!! I know, it's so hard! The one thing I am not doing is obsessively testing which I did last time. I got my 3+ on a clear blue and told myself I have to just leave it alone, it's not healthy. I'm trying my best to take each day as it comes and not overthink things, this is easy when I'm working, but during a night and a weekend I'm terrible! I hope this group will bring me some comfort as I have not informed anyone of my pregnancy only my partner so not many people to talk about my worries! Going to hold off telling my employer h til after Christmas once Im past the first trimester. Im not sure if you know, but im my 12 weeks falls 28th Dec, is there a chance I can be seen before Christmas? Is this something I should mention too my midwife next week at my booking appointment? Thank you again Smile

Rachae · 19/11/2021 16:18

Hey Everyone! Smile
Just wondering what week/ day did you get your 3+ please? (If you've taken one of these).

I've had an anxious time with spotting this week and I'm 4 weeks 3/4 days today. Had my cervix checked and all ok and HCG levels measured. Looking to estimate my 3+ as will be a reassuring moment xx
