@H0peing it did go well thank you - heard the baby’s heartbeat really clearly and it was interesting to hear it alongside my slower heartbeat and the whooshing of the placenta. Baby’s was 149 and the range is 110-160 so I’m happy with that!

All the tests were ok but my iron levels had decreased a bit, I don’t know if that’s because I was unwell last week but I’m going to try and manage it with my diet and see if it improves by the 24 week check, I'm still in the normal range though.

Hope everyone is having a good week Smile

Just thought I'd update. The scan went really well 🥰 all measuring perfectly, such a relief! Thanks for all your positive thoughts. Measuring 13+1 so due date has been brought forward to 24th May ❤️

Bubbasmama2017 · 17/11/2021 11:35

I haven't had cloudy wee but have had very dark wee even though I've been drinking a lot of water, is this an issue? I've had a few cramps which I remember having when I had a UTI in previous preg

Bubbasmama2017 · 17/11/2021 11:36

I've got a gender scan next weekend and even though I've been thinking I don't mind either way I now feel a preference towards another girl baby! I think just because my daughter is keen for a sister and I know how to handle girls. I do feel worried to say that to people in real life though lol

autumn321 · 17/11/2021 13:18

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter aww I'm so pleased for you lovely!! ❤️

My scan was amazing too, little one is measuring at 13 weeks which is exactly what I thought, and everything looked great. It was very active and was just so amazing to see! Feel so much relief and it feels much more real now! Due date is 25th May ☺️

Jowd92 · 17/11/2021 13:36

@autumn321 I’m 25th may too :)

acupofteamakeseverythingbetter · 17/11/2021 14:42

So pleased for you @autumn321 🥰 only a day apart with our due dates. So exciting!!

autumn321 · 17/11/2021 19:13

@Jowd92 aww so exciting! Smile how are you feeling? I luckily didn't suffer too much with morning sickness but I feel absolutely exhausted all the time!

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter thank you lovely! Ahh it's so exciting Smile. My mum, sister and mother in law were all convinced I was having twins!! (I'm a twin myself). But nope definitely only one little baby in there! xx

acupofteamakeseverythingbetter · 17/11/2021 19:15

@autumn321 we seem to have a lot in common - I'm also a twin!! But we have one bubba in there 🥰

Jowd92 · 17/11/2021 19:19

@autumn321 I have felt awful this time but this is baby num 5 for me and my 2 youngest are 3 and 2 next month so having terrible sickness and looking after two toddlers hasn’t been great to be honest I still can’t manage full meals yet I just really don’t fancy any food sickness has slowed down now a lot so hopefully over it now and I have been exhausted more then normal as my youngest is still not a good sleeper either the joys

H0peing · 17/11/2021 20:11

@TashieWoo Really glad to hear that it went so well! Xx

H0peing · 17/11/2021 20:16

acupofteamakeseverythingbetter · 17/11/2021 20:23

@Jowd92 oh my that does sound like hard work, I hope the sickness settles down for you soon!

aNewYorkerInLondon · 17/11/2021 21:33

I'm so glad everyone is getting lovely scans and mostly starting to feel better, or nearly there at least.

My mother-in-law is in town, staying with us, for more than two weeks.

And I thought the two-week-wait dragged on!!!

We'll just say that my level of patience is not what it usually would be. 🤪

acupofteamakeseverythingbetter · 17/11/2021 21:40

😂 @aNewYorkerInLondon

Minster2012 · 18/11/2021 07:48

@aNewYorkerInLondon breathe deeply & often!!

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter & @autumn321 so pleased for your scans that's great!

We've booked a gender scan for a couple of weeks so another countdown to that! Not told DS yet about baby (I'm still not showing really at 13+4) but think we'll take him to the scan I'd also love a girl @Bubbasmama2017 🤞🏻

fattycatty82 · 18/11/2021 09:04

Has anyone carried on with exercise specifically strength/weight training? I've been doing CrossFit for over 3 years now and all the trainers there know I'm pregnant. I'm only managing one weight training class a week at the mo on top of a couple of cardio sessions but I really love doing it, it gets me out the house, makes me feel good and boosts my mood no end. But when I mentioned I was still doing it to my mum last night she was horrified and said I'd get back problems etc and I needed to stop. Advice on the internet is pretty mixed really and I'm just upset that the one thing I'm still enjoying I may have to stop. My mum is usually very negative about most things and I don't have a great relationship with her but now I am just so confused about what I should/shouldn't be doing. I need exercise for my mental health and a walk/yoga just doesn't have the same effect for me. Does anyone have any thoughts? Have you kept up your usual activities? I want to be strong and physically prepared for birth/what comes after
