@PeeAche wow, congratulations! What an amazing month you are going to have What’s your due date?

I've been quietly following this thread after posting a few weeks ago when I initially found out! Not posted for a while as I've been very nervous and anxious about something bad happening. But pleased to say today we had an early scan and we saw a beautiful heartbeat I actually cried when the sonographer said there was one and she measured me at 6w 5d.

I've been reading through the comments and honestly feel for those with HG. Morning sickness kicked in for me last Sunday and that's enough!! Had to tell my boss at work this week as kept on retching  @PeeAche Your story made me chuckle...I hope you managed to salvage the Christmas wine!!

Even though I've not commented for a while it's so nice to feel part of a group going through similar things (especially as I've not told many people yet!) and reading the comments have really helped me at times so thank you and wishing all the very best to everyone on here xx

p.s. For any wine lovers out there struggling thought I'd share this non-alcoholic one I got them Tesco. I opened the bottle last night as a Friday night treat after a long week at work and it was actually pretty good!! Just have to have it when I don't have a wave of nausea I preferred it much more than the M & S one I tried a week or so ago! xx

Had my scan, all is well and a good strong heartbeat. Measuring 6+1, one day off my guess and due on my birthday☺

Ooh that one looks good @alittlebitofsparkle35 - it doesn’t pretend to be wine but actually sparkling grape juice, it’s actually wine with the alcohol removed! Going to have to try that one!

Omg guys, I am getting really bad round ligament pain when I cough. I’ve got a cold with a very tickly throat. It feels really stabby for a brief moment when I cough hard. Didn’t expect this at 9 weeks!!!

Thank you @CurryandSnuggle! Yes the grape juice ones I've not really enjoyed but this one felt like a glass of wine...well not quite but kind of

My itty bitty bub. Had scan last Tuesday expecting 7 weeks, they measured 7 weeks + 3 which is a bit confused as my period was 7 weeks ago. After seeing it and hearing its heart beat I’m so just scared anything will happen to it!!

@Vimto1991 congratulations! It’s hard to get an accurate measurement when they’re so small and it’s more accurate at the 12 week scan I was told. I was measuring 7+1 when I had my scan but at the time I should have been 7+6 based on when my period was.

Similarly I have two different due date calculations. I was told at booking appointment I am due on 2nd June, but according to NHS calculator as my cycle lasts 31 days instead of 28 that changes my due date to 5th June!! Midwife said 12 week scan will give the most accurate date.

My scan was exactly like that @beansprout55 ! I'll attach a pic! I don't think we have any thing to worry about? I've just had a call from the EPU and my hcg levels have risen beautifully she said! From 4200, to over 9500, so I'm happy with that! Booked back in for a rescan on Friday the 12th November!

Just got back from my scan and im measuring 6w 4d which is right by my lmp. However, no heartbeat was detected. The sonographer did say that it could be because of the machine because its not modern. Told me to come back in a week. Should i be worried?

How far along are you @TTCjourney2021 ?? Xxx

She estimated at 5 weeks @beansprout55 so not entirely sure!!

@MadamMaltesers it might well be the machine! Was it abdominal? Did she see anything else? X

@unknownscot she took the first one Wednesday pm (at what she said was 5 weeks) then the second this morning at 9am, so should be 5+3 if she was correct!

I'm in hospital on a drip until tomorrow. Yay for HG. 😒

Great HCG! Wish they would take mine to compare xx did they do a transabdominal or transvaginal for that scan @TTCjourney2021 ?xx

@TTCjourney2021 i hope so, yes it was abdominal, hopefully il see more in a week's time.

Vagjnal @beansprout55 ! I didn't even bother with abdominal! I'm not the smallest lady, and figured they'd only end up saying they want to do one anyway! X

Early scan today. 9 weeks 2 days so a few days further than what I thought. Was a transvaginal scan which i think is much better than having to fill your bladder and be so uncomfortable because your bursting for a wee 🤣

@caz198917 aww how lovely! Looks like babies in a little love heart!!
