@sunflower198 so tired!! I’m getting about 11 hours and was wondering if I was making myself more tired and overdoing it xxx

Saffmum · 29/10/2021 21:07

Hi All. I’m new too! Great to be here! I also have a 17 and 15 year old, so it’s been a while since I’ve been on Mumsnet!☺️

DaimDillyDoo · 29/10/2021 21:09

Is anyone else finding their out of breathe really quickly? My Apple Watch keeps notifying me of a high resting heart rate! Worrying me a bit Blush

RoseValleyRambles · 29/10/2021 21:16

@peeache that is a most excellent story and brightened up my afternoon.

CurryandSnuggle · 29/10/2021 21:27

Me but I have a known heart condition. I'd notify your midwife just to be cautious maybe?

I'm 6 weeks - has anyone experienced brown or pink tinged discharge at all around this stage? Had a tiny bit the last two days once when going to the loo, just had it again and wondering if it's something to worry about. Anyone had it?

Yes. I get out of breathe so easily now. Not sure if it's cause I'm not eating properly or what!
PeeAche · 29/10/2021 23:14

I'm getting out of breath too. I think it's caused by increased progesterone!

Brightsmoke · 30/10/2021 00:59

Also getting out of breath. It's the first thing I noticed and thought I may be pregnant 🙈

pregnancydiaries · 30/10/2021 06:30

@DaimDillyDoo also on board with the out of breathe, and after doing basic tasks!xx

CurryandSnuggle · 30/10/2021 07:18

Me too, I feel really unfit!! Sad

@Wellthiswasunexpected I've been referred for bloods to check it's not cancerous, the ultrasound tech said it definitely wasn't but nice to know they're being thorough. Have to take in the photos and report on Monday so seems they're taking it seriously. Wasn't expecting a call back on a Friday afternoon!

Prema112 · 30/10/2021 08:09

Yes! Breathlessness was also one of my first symptoms! I think it's to do with progesterone in early pregnancy and the baby squashing your lungs in the third trimester!

Last night I woke up for a wee and I didn't feel sick. Instead of delighting at the momentary reprieve I spent the rest of the night worrying and even had a dream I wasn't pregnant anymore. The nausea is now back and I'm relieved but also wish I could enjoy times when I don't feel awful rather than thinking the worst 🙄

Tofu35 · 30/10/2021 09:10

Hey @beansprout55, a few people on this thread had what you describe, from what I remember from their posts- brown blood is old blood so isn't something to be worried about.

Tofu35 · 30/10/2021 09:12

@rathernotshare I'm glad they're being thorough and you have the verdict of the ultrasound tech to get you through the weekend!

Love that we're all getting breathless now!

PeeAche · 30/10/2021 10:41

Oh my goodness @Prema112 I had 3 back to back dreams that I lost this baby last night. I'm even more anxious in my sleep!!!

beansprout55 · 30/10/2021 10:48

Went to A&E last night as I had a major major panic attack after seeing purple cm ... the OB/GYN told me that the embryo carries on drilling into my lining for weeks after implantation (until the placenta takes over) which can cause spotting. Reassuring and may help some of you. Of course, being me, that's not enough reassurance, still terrified!

Prema112 · 30/10/2021 11:03

@beansprout55 oh gosh that sounds stressful! Did you get a scan?

@PeeAche gosh I know so many weird vivid dreams

beansprout55 · 30/10/2021 11:18

Yes but because it was 4am they only did a transabdominal on a portable mini ultrasound machine, I'm 5+5 so they could only see the gestational sac. I'm anxious that they should have seen more but have been assured unless it's transvaginal they wouldn't see more. I hope they're right 😕

beansprout55 · 30/10/2021 11:19

They just did it to rule out ectopic, I have a proper transvaginal booked for Tuesday!

RoseValleyRambles · 30/10/2021 11:38

Looks very very like what they saw on mine, and they were happy with that as a 5 weeker.

Prema112 · 30/10/2021 11:58

@beansprout55 Good you've got one on Tuesday hopefully you'll be able to see lots more, I wouldn't have thought they would be able to see much on a transabdominal scan before 10 weeks

Wellthiswasunexpected · 30/10/2021 12:05

@beansprout55 oh gosh sorry you’ve had such an extremely stressful few days. Annoying they didn’t have resources for a transvaginal scan but at least nothing scary revealed in the transabdominal! And thank god tuesday isn’t too far off (though I’m sure it feels like it!)

Vimto1991 · 30/10/2021 12:55

Hey guys, I’m 8 weeks along today. Since yesterday I keep getting a dull ache in my pelvis area which is freaking me out. I’ve had bad food aversion and seem to be okay eating again so even more worried. Still feeling a bit sick, and tired though. Anyone else get these pains at 8 weeks? Feels like someone’s pressing down near my hip bone. :(
