So I've just heard back on my bloods. Nice rise in hormone levels, so I'm back in tomorrow am for another scan.
Wish they did some sort of loyalty card. I'd be racking up the points!

CurryandSnuggle · 27/10/2021 18:28

@TTCjourney2021 Good luck, try to think positive, it’s so early to see anything! Xx

@RoseValleyRambles yay that’s positive, good luck tomorrow, will be thinking of you!

I’ve received a letter that I’m booked in for a telephone appointment with a midwife in January, no idea what it’s for, wasn’t advised at my booking appointment.

So I’ve had booking appt, I have my scan in November, then 16 week appt with midwife in December. No idea what this telephone one is in January. Only guess is it’s someone phoning me to discuss birth options as I had an EMCS last time.. but it seems a bit early for that? Confused

@Equimum so sorry to hear that. My heart goes out to you. We're here if you need to vent or share anything you feel like.

@TTCjourney2021 early scans are tricky! Hopefully you get more clarity in a week or so.

@RoseValleyRambles such great news on the bloods! I have all my fingers crosses for your scan tomorrow morning. Keep us posted!

I never thought this journey would be such an emotional rollercoaster.

Dogmum5 · 27/10/2021 18:41

@Equimum so sorry to hear your news :(

Glad Im not the only bloated one, I wore running leggings today and was sat for an hour meeting and had a sore stomach the felt tight. Not a good sign at 6 weeks😆

Tofu35 · 27/10/2021 18:44

Booking appt today outfit: I found a pair of work trousers that had an elasticated waistband! So it was that and a comfy jumper. Glasgow is so rainy today that I should have had on a wetsuit instead!!

They did spring a surprise urine test on me, was wishing I hadnt used their toilets before I went up to reception. So it was a quick drink of water and gave a sample. Haha! My fault for not double checking what was involved in the booking appt

Equimum · 27/10/2021 18:47

I've got everything crossed for you TTCjourney2021.

Great news on the bloods RoseValleyRambles. I hope everything is good at tomorrow's scan.

Wellthiswasunexpected · 27/10/2021 18:58

Woohoo for the rise in your hormone levels @RoseValleyRambles a great sign! Smile

Alison3190 · 27/10/2021 19:03

I'm so sorry, sending you lots of love ❤

Alison3190 · 27/10/2021 19:07

Had an early scan today at my local EPU due to a mmc at the end of last year. Measuring at 6+3 which is exactly where I thought I was and there beautiful strong heartbeat fluttering on the screen.

I was so anxious going into the appointment but its given me the reassurance I needed.

Symptoms are starting to take hold now. Has anyone else got terrible skin? I look like a teenager!

Pandamama88 · 27/10/2021 19:21

@Alison3190 That's lovely x

Dogmum5 · 27/10/2021 19:29

I have the spots too!!!! I never usually get spots either.

Wellthiswasunexpected · 27/10/2021 19:52

Congrats @Alison3190, what a result!

Got my first scan tomorrow, will be 7+3. Currently living outside of the UK for a few months and where I am, a 7 week scan was offered as a standard. Now I’m freaking out in case it’s inconclusive as it’s so early! Fingers crossed…

Turniptracker · 27/10/2021 19:55

So sorry to hear what you are going through @Equimum, big hugs xxx

JuniperAndTonic · 27/10/2021 20:12

Hi all, just catching up on this thread after I joined then forgot to check back in!

I’m 6 weeks tomorrow and still have absolutely no symptoms apart from a bit of mild nausea every so often! I’m making the most of feeling good but also I sort of wish I had some symptoms to reassure me!

Told my Mum last week, and my sisters today - they are all really excited but understanding it’s still early. I’m glad to have their support though! Now just need to tell the in laws which I’m more nervous about at this early stage! I was going to wait until I’d had a scan to tell them but it doesn’t really feel right that my family know but DHs don’t! It’s a minefield!

Unarosaes · 27/10/2021 20:18

@Alison3190 such great news! So glad you got to see your little bean. Are you going to have another scan soon or are you going to wait until the dating scan?

@Wellthiswasunexpected best of luck for your scan tomorrow. Unless your dates might be wrong, you should be able to see a little bean at 7+3! How exciting!

restingbface · 27/10/2021 21:36

Hello everyone 👋🏽 I’m 6+1 due end of June, had a MC at 12 weeks back in Jan so was holding off posting for a while/ joining the FB group because I’m scared incase I tempt fate! Have told my close family and friends as they found out about the MC last time and it was nice to tell them happy news instead of bad news (which we hopefully won’t have to do again!) going to go for an early scan in 2 weeks time to hopefully settle my anxiety a little xx

AnyaC84 · 28/10/2021 01:40

Hello everyone!
I'm due June 4th. This is my third pregnancy. The first one was in 2019 and I have a 2.5 years old daughter. The one after didn't work out and we had a mmc at 8 weeks. This one is doing good now. I had an early scan at 7 weeks and we saw a heartbeat. Fingers crossed everything continues to go well!
I'm super sick with morning sickness and I'm taking highest dose of medication. But overall staying hopeful!

AnyaC84 · 28/10/2021 01:44

@restingbface I'm so sorry about your loss! I am in the same boat. I had a mmc and now I'm pregnant again. I completely understand your anxiety. Wishing you all the best on the scan!

CurryandSnuggle · 28/10/2021 07:11

@restingbface Congratulations and wishing you luck with your scan. Everything crossed for you! Smile

@AnyaC84 Fantastic news! Congratulations! Grin

Is anyone else really struggling with drinking? Water seems to be a massive trigger for throwing up but I know I need it, so frustrating

Prema112 · 28/10/2021 07:58

@rathernotshare Yes! At the beginning of this pregnancy I was so hydrated and now the thought of drinking makes me shudder! I try to get liquid in my food by having things like porridge and soup
