@Prema112 I chased mine this week and she made the appointment over the phone, I referred at 8 weeks and made the appointment at 7+4. Appointment is at 9+6. She said they'll book my scan at the booking appointment

rathernotshare · 27/10/2021 13:49

@Prema112 nope, I referred at 5+0 not 8 weeks!

Prema112 · 27/10/2021 13:51

Cool thanks everyone I've just chased by email and if not I'll chase by phone in a couple of days

PeeAche · 27/10/2021 14:55

I have two words for all you jeans people out there:

Elastic. Waistbands.

RoseValleyRambles · 27/10/2021 15:04

I see your elastic waistband and raise you yoga pants. Yes WFH!

rathernotshare · 27/10/2021 15:11

I see your yoga pants and I raise you.... nighties 😂

PeeAche · 27/10/2021 15:24

@Prema112 I got my booking in referral via post but it was from a children's centre in the small town next to the even smaller village, where I live. Very rural. It was hand written on a piece of plain paper with the children's centre name stamped at the top.

Feels a bit like something out of Call The Midwife tbh. 🤣

Equimum · 27/10/2021 15:40

I think I'm out. Baby measured 6 instead of 8 weeks and no heartbeat. Have to wait 19 days for a rescan, but the nurse said she'd expect me to naturally miscarry in that time.

Good luck to everyone else.

Pandamama88 · 27/10/2021 15:50

That is really sad, I'm sorry.

Bridgey8 · 27/10/2021 15:50

So sorry to hear this @Equimum - could your dates be slightly off? Sending love xxx

TTCjourney2021 · 27/10/2021 15:51

I'm so sorry @Equimum xx

rathernotshare · 27/10/2021 15:52

So sorry @Equimum, is it possible that you ovulated late? If you were 6 weeks, it may just be too soon for a heart beat. I have everything crossed for you!

Seabreeze2 · 27/10/2021 16:06

So so sorry @Equimum xxx

Prema112 · 27/10/2021 16:09

@Equimum I am so so sorry to hear that. Thinking of you, that's just so rubbish 😔

AlbatrossSociety · 27/10/2021 16:13

@Equimum so sorry to hear that, will be thinking of you

HWka · 27/10/2021 16:16

@Equimum I’m so sorry to read this xxx

PeeAche · 27/10/2021 16:20

@Equimum I'm so sorry. This is such an incredibly hard thing to experience. You will come back from this, I promise. Thinking of you. Take good care of yourself.xxxx

Wellthiswasunexpected · 27/10/2021 16:20

@Equimum Ohh I’m so, so sorry. Really hope the others are right about you having potentially ovulated late, don’t lose hope just yet xxx

Equimum · 27/10/2021 16:28

Thanks everyone. I got the positive test to early for the dates to match, unfortunately. The sonographer was clear that this was just formality as they can't medically intervene if there is even the slightest chance, but she didn't realistically there was.

RoseValleyRambles · 27/10/2021 16:36

I'm so sorry @equimum. That's really tough news. I hope the next few weeks pass quickly. Thinking of you.

hellointhere · 27/10/2021 16:54

@Equimum I'm so sorry, that is so painful. Lots of love

Brightsmoke · 27/10/2021 17:17

Really sorry to hear that @Equimum. Sending you love

CurryandSnuggle · 27/10/2021 17:27

@PeeAche aww! It is a lovely group, I agree! Smile

@Tofu35 lol I got your YABU joke, don’t panic! Grin

@Tofu35 and @Prema112 I haven’t worn jeans since the start of my pregnancy. I had really bad implantation aching to the point I had to lay down for 3 days lol, honestly it was horrendous! I decided from that point that jeans were no more! I have been living in leggings and long tops/jumpers ever since hahaha.

Hi ladies! Has my scan at EPU! Nurse has said pretty much the same as @Bridgey8
Gestational sac visible, but empty, hasn't said it's necessarily a bad sign, and dated me at 5 weeks, not the 6+2 going off my LMP! I've had my bloods taken and due again on Saturday! And back in 7/10 days for a re scan! Trying to keep everything crossed that it's just to early! But considering my history I can't help but think the worst!!! X
