Gosh, I'm so with you all on the anxiety front. I called my GP about Lisa of symptoms yesterday and the receptionist was really dismissive. She gave me loads of false information about self-referrals and about me being too early for anything to be done. When the Go called, he was actually lively and agreed to refer me to the EPU, but the appointment's not until next Wednesday. Trying to be positive, but know this is exactly what happened with the miscarriage back in March.

Prema112 · 23/10/2021 10:54

@Equimum So sorry to hear you are anxious. Have you decided to have an early scan then? Have you got any symptoms of miscarriage? Remember that your past does not predict the future, this is a new pregnancy and just because you've had mmc in the past does not mean you will again. Thinking of you x

Prema112 · 23/10/2021 10:56

@TTCjourney2021 that's great that you have a scan booked! Roll on Wednesday. Sorry to hear you are feeling glum, early pregnancy is SUCH a rollercoaster. I hope your scan is really reassuring

Equimum · 23/10/2021 11:26

Thanks Prema112. My nausea and breast soreness all completely disappeared this week, so my Gp has agreed for me to have an early scan. This happened back in February, and was told it's all be okay, but when I went for the dating scan, baby had stopped growing around the time the symptoms disappeared. As a result, my doctor was happy for me to go to the EPU this time, as he knows I won't be able to accept the 'it can be completely normal' argument (although, obviously it can).

Prema112 · 23/10/2021 11:32

@Equimum ahh I see. I'll be thinking of you, I know you didn't want to have an early scan and you find it really stressful. I'm praying you see a lovely little bub on the screen, it's true that loss of symptoms doesn't mean miscarriage but I understand your worry x

MrsNT · 23/10/2021 11:49

@Bridgey8 @screamqueen21 i think its very common for scan at early stages to give inconclusive results since its such an early stage. Im in the same boat. I was reading other topics in this forum and the fact that its very common was somewhat reassuring

Couldn't figure out why my notifications stopped then I realized that it starts a new thread after 1000 posts

Sorry you're in the same boat, it isn't a nice one to be in! I also did major frantic googling and it does seem common so I'm trying to hold onto that fact. Due to be scanned again Thursday and it seems a lifetime away. When are you being scanned next ? How many weeks are you? I'm 6 today so super early still. My boobs are definitely less tender

MrsNT · 23/10/2021 12:44

@screamqueen21 when i went to Epu ..as per my calc I thought I was 5+6. however as per the calc from scan they said its 5+3 ..so im due to go again end of next week...so apart from reassuring that its not ectopic..very early scans can create more anxiety

Bridgey8 · 23/10/2021 12:50

Sorry to hear @MrsNT and @screamqueen21 you're in the same boat. I had the results of my bloods this morn and my hcg and progesterone are really high which she said was positive and that I have to wait until a week Monday to scan again. I just can't see anything being there and hate the limbo!

PeeAche · 23/10/2021 13:01

I haven't been able to keep down any food or water since yesterday lunch time. I'm so tired and thirsty! Sad

Very similar to me then, I went there due to pain and thinking I was 6 weeks but they put me at 5+5, confirmed not ectopic. Saw a sac and a yolk sac but said it's too early to see baby or heartbeat, so I've come away thinking the worst. Bloody bad isn't it being in limbo like this !

That is a positive ! I wish I could have some reassurance like that myself. But I know how you feel with limbo. I find myself not letting myself get excited but then feeling guilty for being so negative. A lack of actual symptoms isn't helping 🤔

Hopefully you'll start to feel better soon 💕
MrsNT · 23/10/2021 13:30

@bridgey8 that seems very positive. Your epu seems like a good one as they did blood tests along with scan.

Clomid1 · 23/10/2021 13:47

@rathernotshare @Bridgey8 there is an odds calculator omg why have i not seen this yet 😁 runs to google

newkillerstar · 23/10/2021 14:09

I've been lurking on this and the previous thread for a while, didnt want to join too early! I'm 7+2 based on my last period which gives me a due date of the 11th of June, but i think I'm more like 6+5 going by ovulation, will see what they date me as at my dating scan.

My symptoms so far have been sore boobs (for about the last 4 weeks) slight tiredness and being massively thirsty!

Unarosaes · 23/10/2021 15:19

@TTCjourney2021 I am also having a gloomy day today for no apparent reason. I think it's because my early scan at
7+3 on Friday next week is slowly approaching and I am terrified at what I will see. My last pregnancy was a blighted ovum which I discovered at an early scan at around the same time.

It seems like quite a bunch of us will be having scans next week. I hope you're all more chilled than me and I am looking forward to hearing a lot of good news Flowers

Prema112 · 23/10/2021 15:32

@PeeAche gosh that sounds horrible! Keep an eye on your dehydration, you may need to go to the dr if you can't keep any liquids in

Anyone else having to eat every 20 minutes to keep nausea at bay? And then feel horribly full only to be starving and nauseous again 20 mins later?! I'm gonna be the size of a house if I carry on like this. Going to an extended family get together on my husbands side tmw for 2 days and no idea how I'm gonna hide the fact that I feel awful and am eating non stop!!!

Prema112 · 23/10/2021 15:33

@Bridgey8 that's great news that your hormone levels are high!! I hope it gives you a bit of comfort as you wait

Wellthiswasunexpected · 23/10/2021 15:44

I don’t really have nausea I feel a bit funny around mid morning but that’s it…worried why I’m not at the same stage as you guys, almost 7 weeks!

rathernotshare · 23/10/2021 15:51

I tend to have a bit of nausea all day but now and then I get an instant need to vomit. It's usually just water coming out, even when I've eaten recently

blueberryy · 23/10/2021 16:32

@Prema112 same. Yesterday I felt sick unless I was eating or sucking on a candy. Today is a bit better, but I feel mostly hungover, just without the fun night of drinking to blame.

Clomid1 · 23/10/2021 16:35

@Wellthiswasunexpected I am 6+3 (based on ovulation) and 6+5 based on LMP and honestly I have no naseau at all not even feeling funny. I feel completely normal. Really hoping things will be okay for us and we’re just lucky. Fingers crossed for us 😁

Pandamama88 · 23/10/2021 17:15

Did you tell your GP?
