4 weeks BFP

Hi ladies I have just got my BFP after ttc for a year. I'm 34 and it's my first pregnancy. I just thought I'd start a thread for anybody who has also just got a BFP. I'm excited but also terrified that something will go wrong! How are we all feeling?

I'm 17 plus 5 now. We don't know what we're having yet. Can't wait to find out though!

I have been quite ill but it seems to easing now although I was in hospital a few weeks ago with dehydration and kidney stones. That was painful!

Do you have a bump yet? I don't really yet and haven't put any weight on which has me a bit worried. It's due to the sickness though so hopefully my bump will appear soon!

Oh that sounds painful ! Glad things are easing up now for you, I haven't actually put any weight on but definitely starting to get a bump not sure if it's because it's my second they say you show quicker so maybe that's something to do with it, I wouldn't worry about it though as you will start showing soon I didn't start showing till about 24 weeks with my first and as you say you've had a lot of sickness so hopefully now that's easing up you can keep more food down x

@candyfloss18 @Flamingogirl08 I'm doing great thank you. 18 weeks today and over the weekend we found out we're having a 💓! So excited. DH is already terrified of dealing with a teenager 🤣.

I've definitely got a bump now but hiding it under winter clothes at work until my 20 week scan.

Booked NCT but that's it. Waiting until after Xmas and moving house to buy anything.

Ah gorgeous news 💖 I already have a little girl who has just turned 3 so I'm happy I will have one of each ! I think I'm going to wait until the January sales before I start buying anything , makes more sense doesn't it

@candyfloss18 aaaw cute balance. Not even had this one yet but already thinking about baby 2 - I'd always thought that's what I'd have because that's how it's always been on my side of the family.

Totally agree about the January sales. We'll look at things this side of Xmas to decide what we want like but buy in 2022.
My only concern is a travel system - is buying one in January enough time for it to arrive by mid April for end of April due date? It's my first.

How's everybody getting on? I had my 20 week scan yesterday and it's a little girl! Thrilled!

Great thank you! Had our 20 weeks scan this morning and all measurements were perfect and the sonographer re-confirmed we are having a girl! X
