Thanks @Bubbles1st ❤️ I guess where I’m that little bit further along then my range would be a little bigger. I really do hope so, it’s definitely the GD thing that’s making it harder as of the complications it could cause nearer the big day.

Thanks @AdventuresAwait, it's reassuring that they said 79th percentile was okay, baby boy isn't measuring much bigger than that so fingers crossed it's all good!

So had my growth scan & she said it's all seems normal, but the printout shows that babies femur is supposedly below the 5th to 95th centile range, so slightly concerned. Thank god got consultants app tomorrow so I can ask them about it! Also abdomen is right at the top of the range

Thanks @Bubbles1st this is my thinking too. If I knew for certain that a natural birth would be smooth… but if I already have damage pre pregnancy then I am more reassured with a c-section in a lot of ways. I think I’m very anxious about either option right now! But she’s got to come out somehow.

@bewitchingnight oh no! I think I'm dreading the test more than the results at the moment which is probably quite unreasonable. Hoping they are running on time and don't have too much trouble accessing a vein 🤞🏻 last time I fainted was on their fourth attempt and it was just too much.

@gwhiteley my friend's little lad had a short femur. They kept an eye on her and the growth scans and he didn't grow unfortunately so they gave her a c section at 36 weeks. He was born very happy and healthy. X
@mrstd88 I also hate needles so dreading mine tomorrow tbh! Good luck with yours x

@Kirky658 more than anything I don't want a c section, so I'm hoping baby grows enough that it won't be necessary

@gwhiteley I'm sure you will be OK, she had other issues as well in all fairness so they just had to get him out. Plenty of time for bub to grow big and strong. Least you can chat to the consultant about it too.. X

@mrstd888 just wondering if you're as amazingly hungry as me this morning 🤣

@Kirky658 mine isn't until the 5th but always hungry in the mornings now, don't know how I'll cope with the fasting. What time is your test?

@mrstd88 my apologies don't know why i thought yours was today as well 😑 it's at 0910 so I'm struggling now. Just been to walk the dog and felt like I was dying I was so hungry!!

@Kirky658 hopefully everything is running on time for you. It seems kind of cruel having a pregnant lady go that long without food. I'll be making sure to take something substantial for straight after the second bloods when it's my turn. Do you have far to travel for your appointment? Am I right in thinking you're allowed water while fasting?

@MrsTD88 yes you can have water, both before and during the test.

@MrsTD88 you should be allowed to drink water, I was when I had mine & that was the only thing that kept me going!

Thanks ladies @Kat1112025 @GWhiteley thought I'd read that on my leaflet. The appointment was made so long ago (after 12 week scan) that it's been a while since I've read the paperwork I was handed.

Sitting at my GTT test now ans counting down the minutes until i can eat lol. Just 2 more blood tests to go

@hopefulmummie same here. My appointment was at 0910 and I'm still waiting.😩

@Kirky658 awww no hopefully not waiting too much longer. My appointment was at 8.15 and i didnt get 1st bloods took to 8.40 so about to get 2nd ones done

@MrsTD88, just to let you know that it sounds like it is another thing that differs between areas. For my OGTT, I was allowed a small glass before the first blood test but within the 2 hour wait, I was given a cup with the amount I was allowed to drink (approx 100ml) and was not allowed to have any more until after my second blood test. So worth checking.

@hopefulmummie I got my bloods done at 0950 so got 1 hr 50 to go 😩 none of the other mums in the room want to chat, I've tried to start a conversation but they don't seem keen. Looks like kindle it is!

Ladies who have there GTT today or soon.. I hope it goes well! That two hour wait is a pain hunger wise!! I was told I wasn't allowed to drink at all between the bloods 😕 I thought it was to do with it mixing with the sugar drink? 🤷🏻‍♀️
