@Hopesandsunshines I had this last week. Stressed that the nausea had reduced and had period type pain and back pain. I had an early scan yesterday and everything was perfect, they say the pains can just be everything growing. I also had an asthma attack my last pregnancy. But hopefully all will be well this time

I keep googling babygrows, quirky ones like Born to Rock and rock band ones and adventure/travel related ones. Omg so so cute, I want my little baby now!!!😅 only 6.5 months to wait. Tho wow working out to 6.5 months sounds sooner than I thought! I'm just sooooooooo excited 😁😍😁👶🥰

@Hopesandsunshines I’ve had my usual really well controlled asthma triggered too! So odd as never had it happen before and apparently you make steroids in the first few weeks of pregnancy. How are you coping? Have you upped your medications? Mine are making me a bit shaky occasionally which I’m not loving.

@Horehound No idea if it’s a new series, I don’t normally watch it so just been downloading it on Catch Up. 😊

Had my 12 week scan today. All looking well and the baby was jumping around the whole time, making us laugh. Amazing the difference you can see!

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me joining 😊 Going by LMP I’m due 11th Dec (my birthday!) but had an early scan at 8 wks and was measuring 7 (I ovulate late so it’s not a concern and there was a heartbeat) so from that I’m due 18th Dec - but for ease I’m going by LMP for now. I’ve got my 12 wk scan next Tuesday (1st June). I’m nervous as I had a MMC in April last year and it’s taken DH and I almost a full year to conceive. Almost immediately after my early scan all my symptoms pretty much disappeared and haven’t really returned so that’s making me a little more nervous, but last pregnancy I had symptoms up until my 12 wk scan and found out baby had stopped developing around 7 wks so I guess symptoms don’t really mean much with regards to baby’s health! Anyway, just wanted to say hi and have a bit of company while I wait for my scan day to come round x

Bad news at the scan. Supposed to be 9+3 but was only measuring 6...no heartbeat either. I'm devastated as is my DH. Had no spotting since before my period was initially due. Had pregnancy symptoms and everything seemed fine. I really do wish you all good luck on your pregnancy journeys guys xx

Yup, I've been assuming they wont be able to. I have a feeling harmony tests do them from 10 weeks but nhs dont. Anyway, they wouldnt reschedule so I'm just hoping the sonographer has a quick peek and asks me to come back a few weeks later. Cant complain about extra scans. I even rang to see if it could be changed too!

My asthma got bad with my first. Mostly in the second tri. Extra puffing made my heart rate go a but crackers too. I ended up being referred to a consultant because asthma issues can end up with slow baby growth. Turned out I had a small baby at full term who had stopped growing. So may have been related for me.

@PeanuttyButter so sorry to hear your news. Nothing anyone can really say to make it better but I hope you and DH can take comfort and strength from each other to get through. 💐💔 Xx

Is anyone else getting back pain, simply because they're laying in bed so much? I've often got this before when ill so on bed lots

Often I might lay down in bed after work 4:30-6:30/7pm as I feel ill then from being shattered, can't usually sleep as I'm a terrible sleeper but shut eyes with podcast or audiobook on. Then I go to bed by 9:30pm and usually get up about 8:30am. I only actually get between 7.5-8.5hrs sleep, so I'm not over sleeping, but my poor back!! I'm active every day at work so back gets a good stretch every day...

I mean at 11+2, I'm hoping to be able to skip the late afternoon bed visit. But atm work has to just be ignored and go lay down!

I am around 12 weeks... waiting for the dating scan next Tuesday! I am not sure if it pre scan anxiety or what.. but I can't relax and feel everything is wrong :( my breast is not sore anymore... I still have nausea and yesterday I have been really sick.. Does anyone have a pain ache on the right side of the belly next to belly button?? I don't want to call midwife as I don't have any strong cramp or spotting... but just don't know how to survive these next few days!!!

@chloed121 oh your scan is today, that's exciting. I have a private 10 week one tomorrow, so anxious of course.

I had a private one at 8.5 weeks and all was perfect but still can't help but get anxious! Xx

I've not had a private one as I knew I'd only go back to worrying the next day anyway. My 12 week scan is coming up end of next week so trying to keep my mind from wandering too much about it yet..! Xx

I have a scan in one week when I am either 9 week or 10 weeks and terrified . At 6-7 weeks there was a heartbeat.... what if it's gone.... :( :( :( Have such strong symptoms, but I know that doesn't mean much...

Congratulations everyone, it's so flippin exciting and it's nice to have people to share it with when you haven't told people yet! I had my dating scan a tad early at around 10 weeks but had an unplanned scan on Monday dating me at 11+4. Got my re-booked dating scan next week so hopefully I will be 13 weeks by then. I feel very lucky to have seen my little wotsit so much, although I will say the trauma the little monkey put me through that led to the unplanned scan was unappreciated!!!!
