@IndigoJam how exciting! Is that your first scan?

Scarletpig1 · 22/05/2021 18:35

I went for a nap at 1pm when my toddler went for his nap and my partner had to wake me up at 4.30 for him to start cooking tea. I just couldn't wake up properly I was so knackered. I think I'll enjoy a few afternoon naps in this week off work. By the time I'm back I'll be 11 weeks and hopefully starting to feel more energetic. I've not been sick for a few days and nausea isn't all day long now at least so glad that is easing up.

Em39ma · 22/05/2021 19:36

@IndigoJam congratulations.
Does help explain doesn’t it once you know there’s more than one.

Firstbornunicorn · 22/05/2021 19:41

@IndigoJam congrats! We seem to have a lot of twins on here! Can we have a twin roundup?

tuxedocat · 22/05/2021 21:01

Congrats @IndigoJam!

Shazza86 · 23/05/2021 08:59

@TheDamnFoolThatShotHim thank-you! Good luck with your scan too!

Found the new thread!! I was pretty quiet on the other one!

10+4 today, got my 12 week scan in 2 weeks and I can't wait!

Morning sickness is still about, but I'm so thankful it's only first thing in the morning that I'm sick, but the nausea and heaving is around all day.

I forgot how crippling the early pregnancy tiredness is, I was in bed by 9 last night!

Sair44411 · 23/05/2021 10:31

Just spotted the new thread.

Just wanted to let you all know that I'll be leaving you guys :(

We had a private scan on Friday, so excited to see the little bean and for my husband to see the heart beat. Unfortunately, they confirmed I've had/ having a missed miscarriage.

I've got an app at EPU today to confirm and discuss next steps.

Broken hearted and still in shock.

Hope you all have healthy pregnancies and little beans are delivered sage and sound x x

Pineapple87 · 23/05/2021 10:37

@Sair44411 I’m so so sorry to hear this love sent Xxxx

May2311 · 23/05/2021 12:53

@Sair44411 so sorry for your loss. Make sure you look after yourself. Xxxx

Ameteurmum · 23/05/2021 13:17

I’m just lurking for now - had a late miscarriage last year so just dipping in and out of threads that don’t fill me with anxiety! Due 10th, have a midwife app tomorrow to be weighed as did everything over the phone, scan on the 3rd and then maybe I’ll feel a little better! Jury is out on that one! Hope everyone else is well, nausea and fatigue is literally killing me off atm 🤢

AnonymousXXIX · 23/05/2021 13:46

I'm so sorry @sair44411 : ( : ( : (

TheDamnFoolThatShotHim · 23/05/2021 14:14

Oh @Sair44411 Sad there aren't any words that will make it better but I'm so sorry.
I had a MC in November and the grief is absolutely gut wrenching.

In hospital I was given a book called 'saying goodbye' by Zoe Clark-Coates. She's had multiple losses and it was written to walk you through the grief day by day. I found it really helpful and would definitely recommend it.

If you need to talk then you're welcome to DM me.

Mayneedanextraroom · 23/05/2021 14:27

@Sair44411 I am so so sorry, I have been there too and understand how horrific it is, be kind to yourself. Sending huge hugs your way, I’m thinking of you xxx

Em39ma · 23/05/2021 15:43

@Sair44411 so sorry, I’ve been there twice before. There isn’t anything I can say to make it better.
Look after yourself, take the time you need. Ask questions and talk if that is what helps you. We are all different.

May2311 · 23/05/2021 15:57

I have my dating scan tomorrow - we haven't had an early scan and have got really nervous this weekend worrying something is wrong. My symptoms have been nowhere near as bad this time than with my DD which has worried me. Xx

Babycakes39 · 23/05/2021 16:55

@Sair44411 I'm so sorry, sending you love and strength. Be kind to yourself and take as much time as you need to grieve XXX 💐

tuxedocat · 23/05/2021 17:25

@Sair44411 I’m so sorry 🖤 I can’t imagine now that feels. Sending so much love.

Good luck @May2311 for tomorrow. Every pregnancy is different, and often symptoms lessen off from 9/10weeks anyway.

flowersatthecastle · 23/05/2021 20:48

@Sair44411 so sorry to hear your news. I don't think you can ever be prepared for that. I hope you have good support around you x

flowersatthecastle · 23/05/2021 20:51

I know I could Google this but I don't want to scare myself with a Google rabbit hole... Can you get ligament pain under the ribs at all / this early, essentially where the top of the bump will be? I've been stretching lifting boxes (daft I know) and am getting pains - I think/hope I've just stretched some ligaments / muscles a bit too far?

Cuddles21 · 23/05/2021 21:17

So sorry for your loss @Sair44411

climbershell · 23/05/2021 21:59

@Sair44411 I'm so so sorry. Hope you're holding up ok

Had a family BBQ today, without thinking about it I put salad on my plate and ate it. Suddenly dawned on me, I ate salad!! And it tasted nice. Hated it for a month lol

Em39ma · 24/05/2021 07:01

@climbershell I ate 2 squares of chocolate yesterday and wasn’t sick yay. I just fancied some, my mum went you do know that’s chocolate to me.
The awful taste I’ve been getting in my mouth was a little better yesterday, been told to scrape my tongue with my teeth by a friend and it does seem to working. I’m hoping I may be coming out the other side. 9 weeks today.
