@Lindzers83 I would also book the tix and then you can sell later if need be.
Me and DH went to a wedding when our son was 2months. So afternoon and back at 10pm. Think my mum was getting a bit anxious but it was ok. But haven't left him since lol so o would say it's good to have one thing planned and you can see how it goes.

Horehound · 24/05/2021 13:33

Great news @IndigoJam! Are these your first babies?! You'll have your hands full hehe

@may2312 maybe you'll have a boy this time! I think hormones when you have a girl are higher = more feeling crap.

IndigoJam · 24/05/2021 13:41

@Horehound no. I've I've a 4yo. Cant wait to see how she'll react. Was hoping to reuse the stuff I had for her but now I'll need double!

climbershell · 24/05/2021 13:42

@Theawkwardblonde me!! I'm so happy!! I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and as well as my huge milestone of eating & enjoying salad & haribo yesterday, I just drank a cup of tea!! Didn't fancy it but customer didn't like me saying no (working in the rain yet again), thought I'd tip it away but I enjoyed it!!

So, after 4.5 weeks of all day nausea, its pretty much gone 😃😃😃😃😃😃😄😄

Moo37 · 24/05/2021 13:49

I just went to post on the old thread as hadn't heard from anyone in a few days. Now I see why 🤣🤣

tuxedocat · 24/05/2021 13:54

@Horehound that’s interesting about the hormone - I was opposite, my son I had zero symptoms but this pregnancy I’ve felt drained and v sore boobs and nauseous on and off. My gut says girl this time!

Horehound · 24/05/2021 14:12

Ohhh winder what you'll have then!

Yes I'm sure it is just different for everyone really I just remember reading something about progesterone I think it was.
Time will tell!I feel the same as I did with DS and just have a feeling ill have another boy.
7 weeks until I can find out hehe

@IndigoJam yikes! Will you need a bigger car too?! I'm sure you're girl will be super excited hehe.

Scan earlier was all perfect. Due date is 4th Dec. Just a relief everything is fine ❤️ I keep thinking I'm having a boy this time so that would defo make sense re hormones etc!! Only time will tell 🙃 xxxx

tuxedocat · 24/05/2021 14:32

Glad to hear all went well @May2311!

Lindzers83 · 24/05/2021 16:18

Thanks ladies I'm going to get the tickets and make a decision at the time xxx

gizmo167 · 24/05/2021 16:22

@climbershell aw thats sounds bliss! I havent been able to drink tea in weeks, miss it sooo much!

I'm feeling quite achy today round my tummy, presume this is still normal at 8+6?

CoffeeWithMyOxygen · 24/05/2021 16:56

I had my early scan this afternoon - all looking good and they’ve bumped up my due date to Dec 28th. I’m so relieved, I was a nervous wreck beforehand but seeing the little heartbeat was so special!

climbershell · 24/05/2021 17:25

@gizmo167 I def gonna don't fancy it or find it appealing - won't be making myself one that's for sure! But it shocked me actually drinking it, not tipping it!

I feel so sick now, just got into bed. I think it's coz I'm absolutely shattering. Felt ok from waking up until 3:30ish tho, so hopefully I'm ok every day until I get exhausted 🤞 can live with that, especially as tiredness should stop in couple weeks

AnonymousXXIX · 24/05/2021 17:50

I haven't been able to have tea or coffee (decaf) for weeks either! Have had an occasional cup here or there, but DH now jokes 'I'll make myself one for now... and one for myself to reheat later...' haha.

My nausea has been more manageable this week. It's still there pretty much all day, but I don't know if it's become less overwhelming or if I have just become better at managing it. I suspect the latter tbh. I was too distracted by work this afternoon to remember to snack though (eating makes me feel better) so feeling pretty miserable now. 5:45 pm too early to cook dinner?

TreeRoad · 24/05/2021 18:06

@Sair44411 I’m sorry to read your update. Thoughts are with you at this impossible time.

Hope everyone else is getting on ok! I’m 12 weeks tomorrow, can’t believe it. End of first trimester already! I have my 12 week scan on Wednesday which will be nice.

For those struggling with nausea - I was the same, every single day, but I’m delighted to be nausea-free now. I was about 9.5 weeks before it finally gave me a break. Light at the end of the tunnel girls!

climbershell · 24/05/2021 18:28

@TreeRoad week 12 is the last week of first trimester isn't it 😝 I'm 11 wk tomorrow, so banking on a surge of energy in 2 wks with start of second tri!

Bet you can't wait for you scan!

TreeRoad · 24/05/2021 19:47

@climbershell 😂 Yeah it is. Trying to look on the positive side but I guess I’m jumping the gun by a week haha.

The surge of energy in the 2nd trimester will be most welcome! I could sleep by 7pm most nights!

Horehound · 24/05/2021 20:15

I'm just into week 13 today and it says I'm still in 1st trimester so I think week 14 is the start of 2nd trimester!

climbershell · 24/05/2021 21:46

@Horehound your app has it wrong somehow, the first trimester is definitely week 1-12, second 13-27, third week 28 til birth

climbershell · 24/05/2021 22:02

@TreeRoad 😂😂

Horehound · 24/05/2021 22:10

It's the ovia one. Would be good to see what happens with everyone else when they get to 13.

Had my scan last week which has put me ahead at 13+4 with a due date of 26th Nov! The baby was very active on the scan and kept doing little dances and stretching out Grin it's amazing how much they can see!

@Horehound my scan photo also says first trimester even though I was 13 weeks on day of the scan, so maybe your app is right!

May2311 · 25/05/2021 07:39

I think it's different in America - ( Ovia is American) but in Uk( NHS) First trimester is 1-12. Xxx

Em39ma · 25/05/2021 08:23

Spoke to a different doctor again last night. This one has suffered from hg herself so very good and sympathetic. Put me on to stemil now, I take that for my meneges and wasn’t sure if I could have it when pregnant. She said will hopefully work better as I’m used to taking it, it does normally work quickly. I hope this is the one I think we are out of options after this.
