@CityGirl182 I had my second last week, around 8 weeks after the first. No side effects : )

Em39ma · 24/07/2021 13:44

They refused to give me my jab today. Explained my allergies etc and they think mine needs to be done in a full medical setting. The centre only has nurses and paramedics and they would need a couple of doctors there to do mine.
They are emailing my doctors and I will call them on Monday to see wha5 can be set up.

BrodieKD · 24/07/2021 14:43

I only had my first one a couple of days ago and get offered the whooping cough vaccine at my 20 week scan this week. Has anyone heard if there's any issues getting vaccines close together?

Scarletpig1 · 24/07/2021 16:17

The lady who did my vaccination s said to leave a week apart, so did the pregnant then screwed webinar. One said it was so they can see which jab any side effects relate to. The other said it was so you aren't potentially suffering from two lots of side effects at the same time

@Hopesandsunshines really hope everything is ok. @AnonymousXXIX I think society is getting better with stereotypes. Are you going with a gender neutral name?

AnonymousXXIX · 26/07/2021 07:50

@Lindzers83 we have some family names we like so prob not too gender neutral. But baby can always change it later if they don't like it.

I am pretty sure I am finally starting to feel some kicks : D And the nausea is also almost gone now (knock wood). No bump yet though. My 12 week evening bump was 100% 4 times the size of my current 18 week bump.

Horehound · 26/07/2021 08:24

@BrodieKD I was meant to have whooping cough and then covid vaccine a few days apart but the midwife said she didn't want to overwhelm my system so I'm now booked for whopping at my 28 week scan

Along with bloods and anti d injection...so that'll be fun!

Hopesandsunshines · 26/07/2021 09:00

Hi ladies, thank you for your messages, they refused to perform an examination as I'm not bleeding, also refused a scan. Nurse heard baby heartbeat and discharged me, not feeling too reassured. She said it could be stretching.

Lindzers83 · 26/07/2021 11:12

I've had a bump from 8 weeks and now I'm 20 and can't get over the size already. Anyone else look ready to drop?

Em39ma · 26/07/2021 11:34

@Lindzers83 I’m huge. Been asked so many times if I’m due in the next few weeks, I say nope December and I they look at me as if I’m lying.

Violet1988 · 26/07/2021 18:59

Hi can I join, I'm 20 weeks today with my third. Have two little boys age 5 and 2. I have / had a Mumsnet then Facebook group for my two others and we still talk on there now.
Its different being pregnant a third time, haven't really felt like it's real yet, whereas with my boys the pregnancy felt real from about 8 weeks, even though with my first I couldn't actually imagine having a real child. Any other third time mums feeling the same or is it just me? I'm starting to feel more movements now so maybe that will help x

Mayneedanextraroom · 26/07/2021 21:19

Hey everyone, just checking in as it’s been a while, hope you’re ok @Hopesandsunshines?

I also look huge… had loads of sympathetic looks and comments last week in the heat and had to tell people I was fine as I’m only half way through 🙈

Welcome @Violet1988 I’m 20+2 with my third, I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old and absolutely feel the same as you, I keep forgetting I’m pregnant, even though there’s no mistaking it! I feel weird, like I have too much to do to get prepared, my husband said to me tonight- ohh we will have another little one in 4 months- scared the life out of me as that’s not really that long 🤣

I have my 20 week scan tomorrow and really worked myself up about it, I feel so so anxious it’s untrue, maybe once I’ve had that I’ll feel like it’s really happening, I’ve felt movements for a while now too, but still feels weird that I’m actually growing a baby, can’t explain it (even though I’ve done this twice before) x

burtle4 · 26/07/2021 23:28

@Violet1988 @Mayneedanextraroom I'm 19 weeks with my third and also feeling the same. Older two are 9 and 7 and although we've always known we wanted three it's taken us a long time to get here and I'm older so know it's our last chance which means that I haven't let myself believe it's actually happening. I think like you said, once we're past the 20 week scan and I start feeling more regular movements I may actually start to accept it but for now it just seems so unreal. I can't actually believe if all goes well there'll be another little one in our family, I feel so lucky!

Kinsters · 27/07/2021 01:52

@Violet1988 let me know if you'd like to join the FB group x

Babycakes39 · 27/07/2021 05:42

I'm also expecting my third but my DC are 15 and 12 😳 feeling almost like a first time mum again! After so long as a family of four I can't actually believe I'm going to have a baby even though I feel her moving all the time now. I'm 39 and can't believe how blessed I am to have another healthy pregnancy X

Violet1988 · 27/07/2021 06:47

@Kinsters yes please what do you need to know so I can join x

Louloulou123 · 27/07/2021 08:27

Hi, lurked for a while thought I would finally introduce myself! 19+5 with my first baby which is also team blue! So many boys on here! Have my 20 week scan this week and so nervous about it, scanxiety is horrid! Have been feeling little flutters the past few days, when does it usually progress to proper kicks does anyone know? I feel so paranoid when I don’t feel him move for a bit!
@Kinsters would also love to join the Facebook group if that’s ok?

2020mission · 27/07/2021 16:18

@Louloulou123 @Violet1988 a direct message to @Kinsters with your Facebook email or full name and city should allow her to find you to let you join the group 👍

Becks029 · 28/07/2021 08:21

After lurking for weeks (months!) I'm finally joining the group. I've loved keeping up on all the messages and it's so reassuring to see all our questions and thoughts! I'm 19 weeks today with my first so would love to join the FB group - I need all the help I can get lol. Hope you're all doing okay 😊

Pineapple87 · 28/07/2021 08:32

Welcome, give kinsters a pm, I love the Facebook group, it’s a bit more personal and nice to put faces to the names :)

AnonymousXXIX · 28/07/2021 09:07

I don't use FB guys : ( don't leave me alone here!

Kinsters · 28/07/2021 10:10

Yes anyone who wants to join the FB just PM me your name and anything else that will help me find you like what your picture looks like or where FB has you as living cause sometimes there are loads of people with the same name. I think you can send links as well if you look on your profile info.

Pineapple87 · 29/07/2021 12:43

Hi all I’m 19 weeks + 3, I’ve been getting uncomfortable pain under tummy the past week it’s a constant pain, I’m hoping it’s ligament, I generally think the baby is laying across my tummy as it’s lumpy either side, is this normal and are you experiencing this at all? I have my 20 week scan next week so hopefully will get some answers I’m just worried 😟

Theawkwardblonde · 29/07/2021 14:18

@AnonymousXXIX I have Facebook but due to my profession won't be joining the group so don't worry, I'll be here 😂 don't think many will remain on here though!

2020mission · 29/07/2021 15:42

I'm now intrigued on what your profession is @Theawkwardblonde 😆

I'm still here but I did join the Facebook group too.
