@AdventuresAwait that’s great you managed to get seen - must be such a relief! Never feel silly for feeling worried, you’ve got precious cargo on board! When I kept going in with reduced movements with DD1, the midwives always said they’d rather they checked 100 times and everything was ok then miss the 1 time there might be a problem!

@Taybz @Kirky658 yes I have bad scanxiety as well! It’s getting worse the closer the scan gets, and also now that I’m feeling movements, on days I don’t feel much, I start to worry something’s wrong! 🙈

Thank you @Squibble84, I like what you said about having previous cargo on board! Yes, the midwife was lovely and didn't make me feel like I'd wasted her time or anything. Feel relaxed again now after hearing the heartbeat and baby kicking but I know I will feel happier when I can feel her move myself. Thanks for your kind words x

Glad everything is OK. Even I had some watery discharge today. I'm 17 weeks. It was this morning.. So try not to worry. Although since the last few weeks, or since conception I've been a worry machine. I also worry a lot about letting my cat outside and someone stealing her. She's a beautiful bengal. I worry about my husband driving long distances. This whole new worry is hard. Perhaps it's how things will be now? Then we'll be worrying about the baby when it's here 😂😩 x

@Bubbles1st that’s a great idea!! I’m due September 3rd and I’m having a boy 💙

In relation to the non alcoholic drinks- I had a strawberry and lime kopperberg with a huge pint glass of ice the other day and it was sooooo nice!! They were just in the alcohol fridge of a small Tesco.

@RaeRae84 sorry if I missed your message but I remember your scan being today, or was it tomorrow? Hope all is well 😊

I’ve got my scan tomorrow morning and the nerves are definitely getting to me now!

@CherylLW good luck this morning with your scan! Almost snap I tried a no alcohol strawberry and lime rekordlig cider the other day and it was a very good replacement

I had mine yesterday and it's another 💙💙😂
No mistaking it at all 😂 All measurements are perfect and she was really happy with everything she saw. Had my whooping cough jab straight after too which wasn't expecting.

Also feeling much more human after getting my hair cut and coloured!! Wish I didn't have to go back to work today after 2 lovely days. Actually went out for food too. Just feels like the world is a little more normal this week.
Meeting the girls tonight to let them know about the scan. I'm the first one to have a baby in the group so it's nice to share it ❤️

Doesn't it just feel so nice to be able to go out?! I haven't found it too bad as I do love being home but always happy for a day off from cooking! Plus we've had some great weather here this week so perfect timing.

Still can't believe it really, does anyone else feel like when they have a scan it's not their body? I just find it surreal. I'm hoping my bump will pop soon. She said I have an anterior placenta as well but I know a lot of you guys seem to too so least I knew what she was talking about. I have been feeling movements though just not really strong.

Hi everyone. Hope you don’t mind me joining! I’ve been following the thread for a while. Reading along has been incredibly reassuring to me, thank you!

I’m a first timer due date Sept 25. My 20week scan isn’t until May 12 and according to my midwife team (Kings London) they aren’t doing 16week appointments so I have to wait until May 14 for my next midwife appointment.

Lovely to see so many of you know the sex of your babies! Out of interest-how many of your Nub tech predictions were correct?!

@D0nut I had a nub tech report which said 80% girl and it was a boy 😂

This list of course can be updated if you want to be added or nice you know the sex. Just wanted to post everyone so far - any mistakes let me know. Will try and keep it updated and the start of all news threads maybe all the surprises are girls and if you're carrying a girl or less inclined to want to find out early - could be hormonal!

Thanks!! @mumof23188 @AdventuresAwait @CherylLW I have done a Nub tech and it came back 98% girl! I’ve tried to forget about it but have to admit that it has made me imagine a girl more.

I’m doing ok! My symptoms have been very minimal which has made me super anxious particularly before the 12 week scan and I feel the anxiety creeping back again now too as I wait. But on the whole I feel lucky. I’m 38 and just so happy this has happened.

@Bubbles1st this list is such a great idea! Please would you add me too? I’m another for Sept 25, will find out sex in a few weeks.

@D0nut it really does make you think they are right... and in a lot of cases they are! I was shocked when I was told he was a boy. I was so happy but I had convinced myself it was a girl so did feel a bit weird for a while.

@D0nut ah wow. Will be so interesting to see if it’s right for you. I did nubtechs with my last baby and they were right with him too. I did one with a different company and they said girl so they were wrong! Glad you are doing ok, I think a lot of us here are feeling a bit of anxiety before the big scan so you definitely aren’t alone.
