@jelliestogether what day next week? Not too long I guess! Yeah I have scans every 2 weeks so next is on 4th May. Are yours from 28 weeks extra ones as well?

Juicytoot287 · 24/04/2021 09:46

@mooloop my dog is Wakes me up at 6:45 everyday - he doesn’t sleep in our room but likes to sleep away the morning on our bed.
I tried to get back to sleep today but he generates too much heat.
He doesn’t seem to know when it’s the weekend to let us lay in haha.

@Cpr12 Wednesday! So not long to go. Its been a long wait 😂 yeah I have extra scans from 28w due to my previous daughter being small. Are you having 2 weekly scans the whole way through?

lilomum · 24/04/2021 11:55

Gorgeous @Juicytoot287. I guess girl!

Jl2020 · 24/04/2021 13:38

I'm waking up early every morning too it's starting to get so annoying lol was up at 4 this morning and could not go back to sleep, Have no idea why I'm waking up so early though!
So nice to see we have all almost had our 12 week scans now 😍
I have another one on the 5th may still not 100% sure why but just hoping it all goes ok🤞🏼 xx

Cpr12 · 24/04/2021 18:55

@jelliestogether if there are problems, yes, if not they should only be to 24 weeks. So who knows. Nice to have before you can feel baby move though!

@juicytoot287 I think girl!

@jl2020 did you speak to the midwife to find out a bit more?

Jl2020 · 24/04/2021 21:20

@Cpr12 yeah I did speak to her she said she isn't sure she said it's probably because there was something they couldn't quite see or measure even though the main measurements are on the report 🤷🏼‍♀️she said if it was anything bad the sonographer would have called her in or got a second opinion there and then and told me something wasn't right.
She said not to worry but that's easier said than done when nobody else seems to have to go for a second scan. We were going to announce it this weekend but I decided to hold off doing that until iv had this second scan but have told some of my closest friends now x

Juicytoot287 · 25/04/2021 04:31

@Jl2020 I wouldn't worry too much. At my scan baby was very tucked in, did not want to move and they mentioned they may not be able to see everything they usually do, because they wouldnt lift their head up. Luckily we got baby moving but hopefully it is something as simple as that!

Cpr12 · 25/04/2021 09:21

@jl2020 yeah it does sound like it is just someone being very thorough and they couldnt see all they needed. Try not to worry. They really would have had someone else come in or had you back pretty soon if they thought there was a problem.

Cpr12 · 25/04/2021 12:57

Just wondering, is it normal to get kind of a heavy feeling in your pelvis, and sort of shooting pains down the front. Not many but just every now and then. Not sure if this is bad as I definitly had it last time or if this perfectly normal??

pixiedust21 · 25/04/2021 18:07

Hi everyone haven't been on for quite a while as been struggling so much with nausea/sickness and just haven't had the energy to come on.

I've now gone 3 days without any sickness and feel like a new woman (though still tired and a bit cautious around food!)

13 weeks today :) second scan tomorrow though it's technically the first proper screening scan as I was only 10 weeks the last time! So looking forward to seeing baby again x

milkyway91 · 25/04/2021 18:30

@Cpr12 I've had this too. Not sure if it's normal but I'm definitely the same. Feels almost like a build up of pressure in my pelvis every now and then. I just assumed it was just stuff kinda moving about a bit?

Cpr12 · 25/04/2021 19:06

@milkyway91 so glad to hear you have it too! Think my paranoia is spiralling!

@pixiedust21 glad you are feeling a bit better! Have you told your midwife you have been so sick? They may give you something. And great you have your second scan tomorrow, let's know how you go :)

Jl2020 · 26/04/2021 08:37

Sorry ladies only just came back on here but yes trying not to worry to much and just thinking they probably haven't been able to get all the measurements or something and I'll get to see baby again soon and fingers crossed all will be good 🤞🏼❤️

Jelliestogether · 26/04/2021 09:38

@Cpr12 that's nice to get such regular scans whilst you can feel baby! Fingers crossed all goes smoothly for you! The shooting pain sounds like your describing round ligament pain which is totally normal.

@pixiedust21 good luck at your proper dating scan today! Hope it goes well

pixiedust21 · 26/04/2021 17:42

Ahh so good to see baby again today and I'm finally past 12 weeks 😂 measuring 13 weeks 5 days today with a due date of 27th Oct.

We saw our very chilled baby who was lying with its arms behind its head and legs crossed in the air Grin then I wiggled around a bit and it did a big stretch! So amazing to see it 🥰

Everything was looking good apparently so that's good!

Sickness definitely seems to have gone so hope that's a sign the placenta is doing it's thing now and i can start feeling half decent!!

milkyway91 · 26/04/2021 18:49

@pixiedust21
Great news! It's so settling seeing them all relaxed but healthy isn't it? My sickness has disappeared for the entire day, for the first day in 6 weeks (I'm 14 +2) and my husband has noticed it instantly. I want to eat everything in sight!
Here's our little one- gender guesses welcome! 🧐

pixiedust21 · 26/04/2021 23:11

@milkyway91 aw yeah it's really reassuring seeing them so comfy and chilled 😂

Sooo good when the sickness suddenly stops, really pleased for you!! Never thought the few weeks of nausea I had could feel so long and awful.

Lovely scan pic!! I have no idea what I'm looking at or what I'm basing on so just going to guess girl x

mooloop · 27/04/2021 14:47

Awww lovely scans!! Can't wait for us all to see our 20 week ones Smile

Anybody else finding their belly is starting to pop out a bit more now?! I'm only 13+2 today but my belly feels like it's starting to stick out more already, is that early?! 🙈 I'm really short though so I suppose the only space to go is outwards for me 😂

I had a week off the morning sickness and then threw up this morning Envy think baby wants to keep me on my toes!

Cpr12 · 27/04/2021 15:23

@pixiedust21 glad all went well at the scan!

@mooloop I have had a bump since 10 weeks. It is getting big now, but I am 16 weeks tomorrow. Now at the stage I have nothing to wear 🙈 and bending over is getting hard haha!

Missreginafalange · 27/04/2021 17:43

Good to see some more lovely scans Smile

My belly has popped but am coming up for 17 weeks.

Jl2020 · 27/04/2021 18:38

My belly is certainly bigger but I guess it's just bloat at the moment, weird though as it's got bigger but still very soft unless I'm stood up lol. I can definitely feel stretching and stabbing pains in my lower stomach though especially if I'm actually out and about walking or moving in bed almost feels like pulled muscles!
So glad the nausea has eased for most of you now aswell Xx

Mumnttc · 27/04/2021 20:31

Hi again everyone I couldn't find the thread after the first one closed! My HG has calmed down loads now, although I'm still on antisickness meds. Finally went back to work last week 😊 also found out we are having a baby girl! So exciting! Hope everyone is doing well 😊

Kona84 · 27/04/2021 22:12

I’m 15 weeks I don’t feel like my belly is popping yet but my partner has noticed a change in my posture.
I keep feeling like a might be feeling baby move but then I think I’ve imagined it.
